The Vert

When I first sprayed it on I thought it was very close too Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea (which I really enjoy), but after it dries down the bright citrus calms down and I'm left with a predominately realistic green tea scent with a touch of citrus brightness. I love it, and as with all these types of fragrances I accept the subtler sillage and shorter wear time. Especially at this reasonable price. A real pleasure to wear.

The more I wear this, the more I find it smells like Guerlain Herba Fresca minus the floral notes.Only much more realistically grassy/herbal. My nose picks up something aromatic green, like basil, but apparently it is only in my olfactory imagination. One of my favorites on a hot day. Good projection and lasting power, plus, according to R&G it may be worn in the sun without causing hyperpigmentation marks.

My favourite summer tea fragrance. It is soothing and relaxing with the right amount of citrus. Works great after a shower and for getting ready for the day when you need a pick me up. I have used a lot of bottles and plan to keep buying it for as long as it is made. It lasts all day on me although the sillage is soft.

The Vert is more like eau de perfum, more than perfume. Great after bath. Is like a very delicate grass and herbs. Make you feel fresh, healthy and more energized. Perfect to apply in the morning. Is simple but elocquent. Is not easy to find. I was doubtly the first time I bought it but never dissapointed. Is a must. Is the perfect smell to keep it always, specially in the spring and summer to keep your fresh and with stamina. Quite delicate and great to smell the gren tea, as expected. The best of all, the character never changes as happens in L'Occitane, it changes with the time and became a kind of nasty. I LOVE THIS ONE DESPITE THEIR SHORT LONGEVITY!

i love the idea of green tea fragrance because i love the smell of it (real and "artificial" as in in green tea soft drinks etc). at first i didnt like it very much, but it grew on me and i start to appreciate the green tea scent more and more. as well as the citrus undertones such as grapefruit which i also love the smell of. in the end, i like it, i would wear it for work (which demands a pleasant not too strong scent) but it doesnt make me fall head over heels. it doesnt last very long on the skin, not too surprised since it is fragrant water. but it does last well on clothes.

Lovely, crisp, green, refreshingly sharp. A burst of citrus fruits and a strong note of that delicious green tea, later soothed down by the cedar wood notes. Perfect for a spring or summer's day. For seekers of green tea fragrances, look no further than Thé Vert! I only wish it would last longer. After 3 hours, there's very little scent left to detect.

I was just gifted a full bottle but I’ve tested this before and subjectively I have several tea fragrances I prefer far more. It is a bit sharp on me. If you are in the US/Canada I have an unopened full bottle, still wrapped for the first person who wants it.

Watery green tea with ZERO complexity. I agree with the others; in an hour or so, you must reapply. A flat, linear, overly light scent that is practically non-existent. And the bottle is boring, too.

I was looking for a stonger version of thé vert of Yves Rocher. Wrong, Yves Rocher is cheaper and perfom the same way. The lasting power is really bad and it is a bit sour. Don't waste money here and take the cheap thing, the best alternative should be the Occitane version but they dont do it any more soooo sad.

Very bad indeed. It is too sharp, has no depth at all and smells cheap and bothering. What a pity for such a great and famous House like Roger & Gallet to produce a fragrance like that! I almost can't believe it's theirs!

Poor longevity? Please stop kidding. In France this is a freshener, often bought for summer and hospital, available at chemistshops too...

Meant to be a refreshing spritz on a hot day. It’s lovely. I keep mine in the refrigerator and spray when needed.
