51 Pour Homme

I finally FINALLY got my nose on this masterpiece. When I smelled this from the bottle I couldn't stand the smell. My heart sank thinking I just bought poop in a bottle but all that changed within the first 10 minutes. I don't know what happened but omg did it transition into something absolutely stunning. This is the first time I literally went from hate to head over heels in love within minutes. There's so much going on here there's no way I could begin to describe this gorgeous fragrance. All I'm saying is, GET YOUR NOSE ON THIS ONE & whatever you do, give it a few minutes to transform. It's EVERYTHING I love in a frag. It's unique, strong, animalistic, Woody, musky, florals, spicy, leather, oakmoss... MASTERPIECE THAT LASTS FOREVER! SUPER POTENT SO GO EASY ON THE TRIGGER! WORTH EVERY DAMN CENT! This perfume it’s a darker version of Noir de Noir but not 100%masculine. The leather in here is very strong and smooth. The Oud, saffron and rose accords are like in a classic oud recipe. Tolu balsam is very present and makes me think at Youth Dew This is not perfume, this is witchcraft and I love it

This one is pretty amazing. The most dominant notes which my nose picks are roses and leather with some kind of pencil wood in the background. I really love it. Scent: 9.5/10 Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 8/10

I don't own this fragrance, I've never seen a fragrance that has 28 different notes. I want to know what others think about this one before I pull the trigger and get a sample of this

The notes in the right column are for the EDP. The extrait is a rose/incense/leather fragrance. The edp is mostly leather. The extrait is FAR SUPERIOR IMO

This is what Noir de Noir should have been, and not the cloying overbearing linear fragrance that it is. This has a beautiful rose fragrance with a subdued patchouli and a little leather note in the dry down. Wonderful stuff.

51 Pour Homme is a Leathery, Woody, Amber, Aromatic, Spicy, Floral, Masculine perfume; It unfolds into a bright and dynamic oriental accord around the most sophisticated combination of leather and 'oud with rose and jasmine I've ever experienced. It begins with a fresh lavender top and a brief citric acidity, a signature of Roja Dove's perfumes. Heading quickly to a floral center where a bouquet dominated by a sharp rose and indole jasmine already prepares the wearer for what is to come. We arrive at the base where an incandescent whirlwind woody smoky spicy and resinous 'oud warm, rough leather, dry saffron, smoky birch present themselves followed closely by resins, hardwoods, spicy spices and a hint of vanilla that together with moss and the animalic/musky accord of ambrette with musk give the final tone to this fabulous oriental chypre, elegant and masculine. A pity it was discontinued.

Very pleasant fragrance, with 8+ hour longevity, but intimate projection after the first couple of hours or so. The beginning is no way as "challenging" as some make out, and this is far from any barnyard oud. I get zero freshness from any citrus, though confirm that deep behind the opening are some herbal elements. After 20 minutes, this morphs into the drydown of fragrances similar to Absolue Pour le Soir by Maison Francis Kurkdjian; minus the urine note. A couple of hours in, 51 Pour Homme becomes softer, sweeter, as the sandalwood, benzoin and caraway carry the fragrance to its end. I expected more from this fragrance, but cannot say that I am disappointed with my purchase. I tend to prefer very heavy fragrances, so this might be skewing my perception of 51 Pour Homme.

This is one or I should say the Parfum version is one of my favorite rose fragrances. It is just the way I like it, dirty, smoky, leathery, animalic with a gorgeous rose. This is definitely the darker brother of the noir de noir. I should say more grown up with more wrinkles of noir de noir with more wisdom. This fragrance is intoxicating to me. If you like this, you definitely have to try Pearl Oud by Kilian as well.

This opens rather bright w lemon and lavender followed by geranium, rose and jasmine but soon the oud, saffron, and leather take over considerably with touches of cinnamon and vanilla. The spiciness is further enhanced by nutmeg, birch and patchouli as it dries. Definitely a masculine scent that is dry and earthy. 7.5/10 with average overall performance; not for high heat.

If I smelt this on a man, I'd definitely stay for breakfast. It smells like the perfect balance of masculine and feminine, sultry but sophisticated.

Dior homme parfum is like a cheap clone when compared to this masterpiece.
