Creation-E Parfum Cologne

Honestly a very nice rum and coke scent. Moderate projection and about 10 hours longevity on me. I would still like to try the original pour homme parfum to compare, but this one is very nice. Fiance says it smells great too, no old man vibes here! Update: Having now tried the parfum, it's better. Not my as much as the price would say, but it is. That being said, if I were to purchase a bottle it would be the parfum cologne for value. I don't love this one as much as I did right away... the drydown feels slightly sour now.

Where this shines is the dry down. It opens fairly strong on the booze front. Mid way through the dry down however the warm spices and vanilla start to jump off more and more and it becomes extremely balanced. There is also that cola type vibe folks have mentioned, though again, through the mid it starts to fade out and become a spicy vanilla fragrance. Only deterrent for me is the $. For 120 id love it a lot. For 220 im on the fence about picking it up.

Beautiful boozy winter/fall fragrance. Another beautifully done fragrance from the house of roja dove. Boozy, tobacco, creamy vanilla, slight rose. Love this for the colder months! (It’s the same fragrance as enigma, but due to legal reasons sold as creation-e in the US)

WONDERFUL! Takes me to another place and time. It's like an expensive, slightly boozy coca cola in a bar. It's really wonderful and has lasted more than 16 hours so far on me.

There aren't many fragrances that just leave me stumped. I either like it or not. Sometimes of course, there are some that just knock it out of the park. With this, i am on the fence. I will leave it at a like for now. Only because I received several compliments. However, for me, I just don't know. I don't know if I feel it. Earlier reviews mention Root Beer. I don't get that but it does remind me of some caramel color carbonated drink. Not sure if Coke fits. But something along that line. I get a soda and old books. Which those two aspects aren't bad at all. Just seems a bit off. This is potent. It lasts for over 8 hours while I did some work outside. Still projecting til the end. I just can't decide if I wanted to smell like Coke and old books. It seems well blended. Very smooth feeling. May need a few more wears to make a final decision. Even still, I wouldn't pay the exorbitant retail cost. I have yet to find anything that makes me want to fork over 300 a bottle. Just insane.

Think of heirloom whiskey and artisnal cola in a red velvet robe on a tobacco plantation, very rich and sophisticated. Between the parfum cologne line, this is probably my 3rd favorite after danger and elysium

Okay, I bought a sample before doing any prior research, and the first thing that came to my mind was that this smells more like coke than tonka cola, which I have a bottle of. It smells 60% similar to tonka cola, but this is actually more wearable. I also get a similar resinous and tobacco vibe in this cologne as I do in Amouage’s “royal tobacco”. Tbis smells like a mix between Royal tobacco and tonka cola. I can’t tell whether this is unwearable or not. I like to smell it, but not to wear it. Granted, I can barely wear tonka cola. This is fun for a collector, but not for the average person.

I have no idea what Parfum Cologne is, did Roja make that up? I'm sure he explained himself in somebody's article but it's no biggy to me so I won't search for it. Back to the scent. More boozy than sweet and not enough oomph to it. Sure it's long lasting but the scent bubble is very short. No, I know every fragrance can't project 10 feet and last for 24 hours but this is fairly week when comparing notes to other frags with similar notes. I have worn it 6 or 7 times over the last couple of weeks since temps are cooling off and I am not loving it.

This fragrance is ok. Sweet scent smells very vanilla and powdery leaning more on the feminine side to me.

Powdery Dr.Pepper/Root beer float.

Complete and total scrubber for me. I purchased this because the hype train claimed it to be a fizzy cola forward scent but that was not my experience. I also get none of the notes listed; instead I was accosted by a smoky spice shadowed by wafts of iodine. Now I like spice and intrigue, but on my skin this is quite unsophisticated and linear. I would have loved to experience a fizzy cola forward scent or marriage of listed notes, especially considering the lasting power.

Not really a fan of this one at all just not my scent profile. The opening does smell like Coca-Cola. I feel like this, scandal, and danger all have similar vibes as far as the dry down goes. The dry down is very tobacco to my nose and it’s just too dirty smelling for my personal tastes.

Opening: Dusty Root Beer Dum-Dums 🤢 🔜 medicinal tobacco (still root beer) 🔜 wet tobacco.

Smelled almost exactly like Tabu by Dana to my nose.. which is what my grandma wears lol

- Buy it - Try it - Bye bye it ** This one and I don't get along at all. This is one of the higher rated fragrances here on the site, so I think the problem is with me & not the fragrance. Regardless... What I smell here: If you've smelled Armani Code Absolu, Absolu Gold, you probably pick up on the fizzy/sparkling/etc. note that people describe as cola-like. In those Armani’s, that note is prominent in the opening then blends in when the mid & base come forward. To my nose, Enigma is that fizz note dialed up to 10,000 and never blending in or giving way to anything else... well, maybe a very small bit of cognac. I thought it might be my skin chemistry, but tests on fabric turn out the same. It's super off-putting to me. I would not blind buy this. My opinion re a cost-free test to see if Enigma might be for you: Pop into Macy's, Ulta, etc. and grab a tester of Code Absolu Gold or original Absolu. Enigma is strong, so take douse your arm with Absolu Gold and bury your nose in there.... don't wait for any dry down. If you absolutely love that fizzy/sparking opening and want it to hang with you all day, Enigma (a.k.a. Creation-E) might be for you. And that would make you & I very different :)

This smells absolutely vile, dank , dated and absolutely revolting. The hype is just hype. I scrubbed and scrubbed but this garbage won't get off of me. Smells so nauseating. Gross. A mix of coke and mold.

This stuff is absolutely repulsive compared to the parfum version. The parfum Cologne has a “dirty diaper” note that Is extremely offputting.

An interesting fact regarding this perfume (more educational comment) A very interesting and horrible accident had happened with this creation in the past. One time, someone had bought this fragrance in the store, after several months of usage the person noticed that this perfume started to change the color in the bottle. After a year, whole perfume had changed the color to dark brown and the formula had become cloudy with an awful rotten smell. Probably, so called Shiff's base reaction or even several of them took place inside the perfume. Shiff Bases are the products of chemical reaction between aldehydes and primary amines. It can potentially happen inside the perfume, if you use some of aldehydes and primary amines creating a scent. This reaction is very interesting, because it quite reminds me metabolic reactions in our bodies which are accelerated by transferases. It can ruin whole perfume, or make a really nice long lasting effect to a fragrance and has a really nice smell, it depends which shiff bases has formed as a product of this reaction. Some shiff bases can absorb the light inside the perfume, it can cause a color change. Shiff's base reaction also leads to water accumulation inside the perfume, because H2O and shiff base are two products of the reaction, so it can also cause dilution of the fragrance. This reaction can cause some unpredictable results and it goes quite slowly... There are lots of aldehydes used in perfumery, it is quite a large group of raw materials. In case of primary amines, there are only two used in general: Methyl Anthranilate (grapes smell) and Ethyl Anthranilate. It is better to create shiff bases separably before putting Aldehydes and Anthranilates inside the fragrance. Imagine, what a nightmare, to deal with such unhappy consumers after that..., especially when your product is quite pricy.

So many go on about how this has the cola accord And upon testing I agree & Is why I purchased it! I see also where some say this & the parfum smells like an old man...I disagree wholeheartedly, However if others I encounter feel that way, That fine too!! Because I’m not young & feel like the complete bomb when I got this on!! Really do love it. Currently saving for the parfum Because I love this scent profile just that much!

I find that with Roja fragrances I either love it or hate it. And This one has a nasty awful smell. I really don’t like this one at all, I tried. I bought 10mls and wore it a few times. I really wanted to like it but I just can’t. I don’t get any of the notes listed, which is very strange. Either the notes listed are all wrong or it’s terribly blended.
