Danger Pour Homme Parfum Cologne

I gotta say, I was most intrigued to try this based on the polarizing reviews. The talk about this somewhat unsettling cumin note had me questioning the integrity of the fragrance and curious as to how it would react on my skin as opposed to others. Given the fact that fougere’s are incredibly common and more often than not very similar to one and other with the exception of a few minor tweaks, I figured, if this is offering something different, I’m in. After all, it’s a Roja Dove. The man knows what he’s doing... and considering I’m an artist myself and enjoy perfumery, I always keep an open mind and respect the artist and their creations. I think this is an excellent fragrance. Very nice gentlemanly barbershop scent, but doesn’t remind me of anything I have in my collection, which is good. It’s easy to wear at any point and leaves me feeling fresh and confident that I smell good. And I do. Nothing about this is challenging to me, in fact I think this is a very well crafted composition and would be thrilled if I were to create something of this caliber. As for the price well, that’s up to you. Again, it’s a Roja Dove, a luxury fragrance house. I’m not effected by the price, in fact I feel the cost is warranted. Maybe it smells like Guerlain Heritage... I haven’t smelled it yet so I can’t speak for that, but if it does, that’s cool, Guerlain is a wonderful house as well, offering high quality fragrances at affordable prices. I’ll have to check that out too, but as of now, I’m enjoying this very much. This fragrance is quite strong. Couple sprays and you’ll catch beautiful whiffs throughout the day, or night, even after a shower it still lingers on skin. So back to the cost, you can say you get what you pay for... I wish Elysium PC performed this well on me... If I could describe the scent as basic as possible, it pretty much smells like talcum powder with spice. That description is incredibly understated, but you get the idea. Also, this does not smell like BO to me... not in the slightest. I get more of a BO smell from Aventus or Mont Blanc Explorer, or the countless other clones of Aventus, but that’s more of a personal thing. It’s unfortunate for those that don’t get the same pleasant experience as I do from this but that’s fine, we all like different things. All in all, I’d rate this a solid 8.5/10 Imagine living in the world of Peaky Blinders...

This is a fantastic Fougere. It is nothing really groundbreaking, but the quality presented here is pure class. I see many people complaining of too much cumin, which on my skin only plays a minor role fortunately. Opening: Starts off with a fantastic citrus/lavender accord that fades pretty quickly (about an hour). Heart: Some lavender still remains, but a more floral component consisting mainly of lily-of-the-valley and jasmine start to come in. This gives it a really nice refined feel. Very good presentation of floral notes being blended together to give off a harmonious union. The longevity of this portion is roughly two hours on my skin. Base: Too much going on here for me to really tell what exactly I'm smelling. The main dimensions I can pick out are the occasional rhubarb, tonka, cumin, musk, and mild oak moss. The base comes off as a multifaceted powdery dimension that I really enjoy. This portion of the fragrance lasts a good 6+ hrs on my skin. I personally would love to smell like this on most autumn/winter days or nights, but due to the price (hovers around $500+CAD after TAX+IMPORT fees due to being forced to order it directly from the UK, as not many retailers in Canada stock Roja). $500/100 ml EdP strength is not too bad, it's what you would expect to pay for a niche house, just not something that I would use as a daily wear because of that. If found at a discount price, I would not hesitate to pick this up. With that being said, I dare say this is one of the finest Fougere style fragrances on the market. Another thing to add, is that there are very little if any synthetics inside this fragrance, which is wonderful. In this case you really do get what you pay for. I would recommend colder temperature wear only (15C and down), as parts of this fragrance may become too strong in warmer climates for some, which is why I suspect people are having trouble with the cumin note. Elegant masculinity at its finest! Yes, it may be lacking in originality, but it is done to perfection. Bravo Roja! 10/10

This is an amazingly well blended, modern, sophisticated Oriental Fougere. I love good lavender centric fragrances like Ormaie’s Le Passant, Penhaligons’ Sartorial and Caron Pour Un Homme de Caron. Danger Cologne is a much more wearable, unisex, blended to oblivion Fougere in the same general category as some of my other favorite lavender fragrances, but the lavender in Danger Cologne is definitely much softer and a better team player. The violet and white florals are so creamy and cloud-like, it smells literally divine. The florals are really the secret sauce for me in this fragrance. They mute, polish and smooth out the more boisterous lavender. And then the spices, woods and aromatics come in and complete things. To be honest, I had avoided even sampling this fragrance in the last couple years because I have tried Danger Pour Homme Parfum several times. The Cumin note in the Danger Parfum version and in Burlington can be very “challenging”, to say the least. I absolutely hate cumin in fragrances. It smells vile to me. It smells like the Grinch’s BO. I smell that “BO Accord” in Danger Parfum and therefore I have avoided trying Danger Cologne. I don't smell cumin in Danger Cologne. Thank Goodness I ran out of fragrances to buy and I got desperate and convinced myself to give Danger Cologne a try despite its stinky big brother. I am so happy that I did. The Parfum version smells like a sweaty Uncle on a public bus without AC, but the Cologne? Heavenly 💜. Do other people agree that the Cumin note is dialed down in the Cologne? It certainly is for me ... Thank Goodness ❤️

The one time I make a practical choice :) I was at the store looking at a large number of perfumes when I came to the Roja Parfum Cologne range. I needed one day and one evening - Elysium picked up for the day. For evening, it was between Danger and Enigma. In the store, Danger seemed very muddled to me and I absolutely fell in love with Enigma. The issue is that I live in South India and I needed an evening scent that was more versatile - realistically I'd maybe be able to wear enigma for 2-3 months in the year. After much agonizing, for once I just made the practical choice - Danger is more all weather so I took a leap of faith that it would grow on me on the back of my immense respect for Roja Dove. Then I came home and man alive! The perfume came alive and its many nuances of many notes was like musical theater - different notes vibrated and danced to the front and went back into the beautiful blend. This pulsated when I sprayed it on myself. This smells like a very rich man in the best way possible. I realized then that the issue wasn't Danger - the issue was the air in the store that had been muddled by the many perfumes in the air. It's the one time I made a practical choice in my young journey into fragrances - I'm just so happy I did that. Absolutely love it 10/10

This is the scent of a profound gentleman. Danger opens on my skin with a burst of classy,luxurious, fresh,slightly spicy and green,natural and inspiring citruses with dominant bergamot mingled with a herbal and creamy lavender laying on top of a bit cozy blend of ambergris and patchouli. Soon enough,a bit spicy bouquet of flowers,with dominant violet starts to emerge with a wisper of slightly smoky woodiness yet to come.I can detect a hint of birch,but it's not listed in the notes. This all leads into a woody, mossy, moderatly sweet,ambery, creamy and smoky base with dominant ambergris,patchouli, vanilla,tonka and cedar and with the tender trace of fine leather. Longevity - 8/10(8+ hours) Silage/Projection - 8,5/10(heavy to moderate projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours,than sits closer to skin for the duration of the scent's evolution) Weather -best in spring and summer You'll get compliments with this one.

High end Fougere. Very rich and indulgent barbershop DNA. One is immediately hit by lavender that with hints of spice in the background. Citrus is kinda there, but it gone so fast and fleeting I didn’t bother ranking it in note description. As it dries down the oak moss come forth to compliment the lavender. Ultimately, vanilla rounds it out in the background. There certainly is cumin in here...but it’s done well. It adds a twist to the Fougere theme, spicing it up again and giving it some sexiness. Longevity and projection are well above average. Totally masculine. I don’t get a tinge of femininity in this. Great for fall/winter...could be pulled off in spring with less sprays. Although I really enjoy Fougere DNAs, I was getting tired of them. This take on a classic renews my love for them. Well done Roja. Sample before purchase...but if you like fougeres, this is as close as I come to recommend blind buy.

UPDATED SHALIMAR I was in Bergdorf's today (NYC) and had the SA spray about 8 different Roja Dove fragrances on sample cards. Of the 8, I thought Danger was the most captivating, and had the SA spray the perfume version on one wrist, and the cologne version on the other. For several hours I kept sniffing both wrists wondering where I've smelled this beautiful fragrance before. Then it hit me. It smells similar to my favorite cousin's signature fragrance - Shalimar. I was puzzled. Why would this remind me of Shalimar? Then it all came together. Roja Dove worked for Guerlain. Shalimar is from the house of Guerlain. I'm not suggesting Roja stole the recipe! However, perhaps Roja was influenced in creating Danger. Both the perfume and cologne version are stunning. (Of course, perfume is stronger than the cologne.)

Fragrances are a big part of my life and has been since I was a little kid. My parents and both sets of grandparents wore them daily. My dad's parents retired in the mid 1970's and moved outside of Tampa, FL in the early 80's (where people seem to go after they've lived in Wisconsin their entire lives! LOL). Roja Danger triggers a happy memory of visiting my grandparents in Florida and giving my grandpa a hug. Danger smells just like he did! I don't remember what he used to wear....all I remember is giving him a hug and smelling fantastic! Danger to me for sure smells "mature" but in the best possible way. I get close to 8 hours of longevity....which is really all you need. Sample this before you buy because it's not for everyone. The lavender, cumin, and woods are blended to perfection. Cheers!!

Normally, my bias is to want to like the fragrance that I’m reviewing. I especially favor Fougeres. However, after reading the note breakdown and seeing vanilla again on another popular fragrance, I wanted to dislike this one. Alas, I have no choice but to really like Danger. It’s a very well-blended fragrance and vanilla does not really pop out here. This is a masculine and classy fragrance. It is expensive but can be worn in all 4 seasons casually and formally. Update The cumin notes have become more prominent in warmer weather. It’s very notable on my shirts the following day. I am not sure if the cumin is used to increase the longevity and/or sillage of this fragrance. However, I wished it was less prominent or completely gone because I really like this fragrance.

If Red Hots mixed with some Gillette regular shaving foam were made into a beautiful, smooth and buttery fragrance. Fantastic. The spices add a beautiful warmth. Roja does these modernized classic scents so well, I think. Even his overtly classic scents like Diaghilev shine because of the sheer quality of ingredients and blending. I really resist the modernization of everything. This is a probable loss for me, considering modern doesn’t mean bad, just new. What I like about these Roja scents is that someone passing would surely think this is a grown up fragrance, and yet thoroughly enjoy its scent and find it completely different than the scents of long ago. It is a lighter wearing fragrance, over all. Very slightly powdery. I doubt you could overspray it.

Been sampling it for a while now. Absolutely love it. Opens up with a beautiful lavender and citrus note. It smells aromatically sweet and masculine, and even a bit spicy, almost like a soft cinnamon. After around 4 or 5 hours it dries down to be woody, but that certain aromatic sweetness still remains. There is a particular note I smell in the dry down that I dislike, however I'm not sure what it is. It smells a little medicinal and old fashioned, but still enjoyable. Performs well for me too. Projects around 1 to 2 metres around me for 2 to 3 hours, and is still detectable throughout its 7 or 8 hour lifespan. Gets me compliments at work too. Love it

This is special. As a fan of Roja in general, I think this might be the best I have tried. Upon spray I get a citrus and lavender smell that lingers for awhile. At mid and dry down the lavender stays around and then a slight but of wood and rhubarb (which I assume is the tart smell) comes into play. What a scent!! Again, I think this might be his best work. It’s completely bottle worthy. Not a blind buy due to price but if you smell this, you will want it most likely. The projection and sillage are great as is typical with this brand. It’s an 8.3/10 for me. I think spring, fall and winter would be best for wearability.

I've tried the entire Roja cologne lineup (currently consisting of Danger, Scandal. Elysium, Enigma/Creation-E, and Vetiver). Of them, I'd group Danger, Scandal, and Creation-E together as three different takes on a spicy masculine vibe. Of those three, Danger was a clear favorite for me. I'm a big fan of Guerlain Heritage. Danger Cologne was similar but superior to my nose, though at 6 times the price. Longevity was better than average. Focusing solely on the scent, I'd give Danger a 10/10. It's a classic, slightly animalic, and totally masculine fragrance with a spicy lavender and ambergris dry-down - yum!

Reviewing both here today - obvious difference because of the cologne to parfum Overall this is gorgeous, all the right spots hit with the barbershop feel but it has this old school jammy feel to it, like an old dusty feel. It’s a must have if you’re into these styles of fragrances, it’s a gorgeous take on this dna. Powdery and creamy I would say this was more than spicy or zingy Does feel like this could of been released decades ago, I think my man Roja may of embraced the 80s feel too much and made this a little too old school for some people

@frag7700: I own and love both. I would say that the Parfum has marginally better ingredients. But it's less versatile than the Parfum Cologne. I use the Parfum strictly as a special occasion scent. It's a bit dense and 'perfumy' for work and everyday situations. The Parfum Cologne can be used day and night in many scenarios. Oddly enough, the Parfum Cologne gets me compliments while the Parfum doesn't. Perhaps because the Parfum Cologne is brighter and has stronger projection. All in all the Parfum Cologne offers better value for money.

Simple and romantic in vintage and classy way; that is how I would describe this fragrance. I get why its called "Danger" because its seductive to a point were you will be the center of attention, not for those who wish to be unnoticed. This is a vintage and classy love potion and the day I wore it I was a dangerous day to say the very least. By the way the performance of this fragrance is not as strong as Diaghilev but it can be a weapon for those who are not careful using this fragrance.🎀

Honestly, I don't get the old fashioned thing that many talk about. I really don't. This is EXQUISITE, I'm not someone who pretends that they can pick out notes, but I bought the discovery pack, having had Elysium before and spryaed Danger on my hand and went to bed. After 15 minutes, I had to get up and check what it was becuase I couldn't stop smelling it. WOW. currently, this and Naxos are my two favourites. Actually I have so many that that's not true, but this is a stunner.

42 fougeres in my kit and Guerlain Heritage EDP and EDT are my favorites. This is very similar. It has richer spices in it and is a little creamier. I haven't looked at the price of a bottle yet, but if its not much more than $100, this will take the crown. I assumed that I wouldn't like this because Danger Pour Homme was an animalic mess. Thank goodness this smells nothing like it. Heritage received 9s so I am going to have to go 9.25/10.

My wife isn't crazy about my fragrance hobby, yet she compliments me every time I wear this. She simply can't help it! And she's right. Danger is sophisticated, mature, warm and sexy. I'm sure Guerlain Héritage was the inspiration, but this modern take is brilliant and the added cumin note takes it to another level. This is actually worth the money.

One of the best from the Parfum Cologne line, i have elysium and vetiver and tried enigma and scandal few times...elysium and enigma are the most unique ones, vetiver is the most pleasant and smooth, scandal is just ok, danger is like a perfected guerlain heritage, maybe not worth the money unless u r loaded

I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. The fragrance lasts two days on clothes, is pleasant to the nose and is worth the price. I'll probably throw away all the unnecessary bottles and buy this proper one :D...very cozy, deep, high quality, home wear scent or chill time .

Similar to other reviews, the cumin just ruins the fragrance for me. It bothered my nose, and I don't care for it. This is the second Roja (Elysium) I've tried that was too spicy for my tastes. Given the price point of the brand, I'm not sure if I want to keep trying them out.

I love this fragrance, out of the parfum cologne line this is my 2nd favorite to elysium. I’m not good at picking fragrances apart or describing for that matter, but this one is so well blended and gives off such a warm and sexy vibe, and would work great buttoned up

I love it. High quality scent. Aromatic, woody and spicy scent profile. Could be considered as signature scent. Gentleman style. I have received not so positive comments while wearing this. Also it is considered by others to be pretty strong scent.

Andrei Curta says it well. This is a masterpiece! A very elegant men's fragrance. It smells of wealth. A fragrance that surpasses Chanel Pour Monsieur, a missing link between the past and the present.What I don't like is the glass.

Highly refined barbershop scent. So to many it can come across as generic and even dated. But for those who enjoy traditions and still believe in old school masculinity, this is a winner and the best fougere I’ve smelled.

Wow. Noticed most of the PC/EDP line was missing from Roja’s site. Contacted support and they confirmed that the entire Scandal, Danger, and Vetiver lines have been discontinued. :’(

Smells like a great barbershop scent and kinda reminds me of candy. Overpriced in my opinion but its worth it for me.

It’s a solid fragrance. It’s old school, but brings a touch of modernity to the mixture. On the very first spray, it reminded me vaguely of Bois du Portugal by Creed, which is a similarly ‘dated’ masculine fragrance that follows a barbershop fougere formula. But that quickly fell away, and Danger came into its own. There’s not much I can say about this note breakdown that hasn’t already been said. It’s classic, with a creamy lavender backed by natural, fresh citruses. It’s good, not great and certainly not groundbreaking. When I hear people talk about Roja Dove, it’s almost in hushed, reverent tones. As if we’ll be talking about Roja in 20-30 years the same way we talk about Creed now. This fragrance doesn’t give me that impression. Sure, it shows that Roja Dove clearly knows what he’s doing, and knows how to revitalise a style of DNA that fell out of favour long ago. It’s well crafted, but it lacks vision. This fragrance isn’t exciting or revolutionary. To put a long story short, this isn’t a $300 fragrance by any stretch of the imagination. Cut that price in half, and now you’re in business. Now for the nitty gritty. This is a highly versatile, all season fragrance. I’ve found it to be surprisingly good for compliments, and the longevity is pretty respectable. The sillage is moderate at best. This definitely leans masculine, though I wouldn’t say it outright oozes masculinity. Personally, I think this is more of a casual fragrance. Not something I’d necessarily reach for if I’m wearing a suit and tie, but I could see it working in the right situation. I recommend sampling before you buy, but it’s not going to be terribly polarising. I’d say that most people will find themselves enjoying this one.

It opens up fresh and floral but it dries down slightly dark, soapy and powdery. There is a fougere quality to it but when I smell it up close, the florals and the musk give it a slight soapy clean character. Can smell the cloves after awhile too and that adds even more towards this going down the fougere style. Classy gent style perfume for sure. There are times where I smell it and i'm reminded of Diaghilev's dry down but without the animalic or super dark tones. Maybe if the leather and clove were turned up or some more animalic tones were added, it would fit the name Danger but right now its closer to being a pretty safe perfume. This would be great for autumn. Has medium to high projection but the silage is really good. Has really good longevity one me too. Good perfume for anyone looking for a classic, clean and powdery perfume.

Danger opens fizzy and fresh, it's very well blended and smells extraordinaire. It gives a bit of a lemonish cocktail-vibe but in a good way, don't worry, you won't smell like a beverage. This smells like money and you will stand out by wearing the most luxurious (and best smelling) fragrance in the room. To me, at its best Danger smells quite intoxicating. The cumin note is there (which I don't like), but it's not as obvious as in Burlington 1819 . On another note, there's also a " Bleu De Chanel " hidden in this blend, it's quite obvious. I too can see both the "aftershave"-likeness- and the "dated"-aspect in Danger and I'd say this is probably best suited for mature people from their 30's and upwards. Just be well-dressed, this fragrance demands it. Definitely worth sampling, smells oh-so-captivating, especially once it settles.

I hate this brand because Roja (AKA Roger Bird) is a phoney perfumer who uses ghost perfumers. He pumps out fragrance after fragrance that are "inspired" by other successful classics. But I'll give credit where it's due, the scent is a good. Reminds me a bit CK obsession in the drydown. Good quality (they all are) I'm getting about 6 hours on my skin. Drydown is creamy and nice. This is my second favorite parfum cologne behind Vetiver. Good but not earth shattering. Price is way too high for what you get. But if you can get it around the 150 price point it's a solid buy. Can be used in any weather and probably more appropriate in casual settings. Scent 7/10 Performance 6/10

I'm honored to be the first person to review Danger. Wow, this juice is strong. I really wanted to like this, but Danger just isn't my thing. As soon as I sprayed it, my wife told me it reminded her of an aftershave her father used to wear in the 70's. I'll give it a like, mainly due to its good performance, but just barely. This is John Wayne meets Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood. It's a slightly modern take on a very classic fragrance profile. Well done, well blended and a beast in performance. A macho powerhouse for sure. If you don't have hair on your chest, rub this on it, hair will grow. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 10/10 Projection: 10/10 Price/Performance Ratio: 5/10

I sprayed this for the first time on my skin and I was blown away. Having tested over 100 fragrances in the past few months, I've been waiting for so long to find one that would impress me right from the very opening. This one did, but the magic only lasted a few moments. After the volatile top notes faded away, I got this half- good smelling, half- stinky fragrance vibe. It might have to do with the skin chemistry, so make sure to test it on your skin before making a decision to buy or pass. Otherwise it's a mature masculine all-arounder. Smells expensive if that's what you're going for. But I would not wear this unless I'm at least 45 years old.

This has a lot of cloves as Roja likes to include cloves, the same with cumin. I enjoy this scent, though I must admit it is not my favorite creation of his, could partially be because this type of scent is not my favorite DNA (the fougere style). This would get more enjoyment from me if it was more citrus heavy, instead of spicy lavender. Last quite a long time for being apart of the Parfum Cologne collection, which is a plus, but maybe it should be expected due to the nature of the scent and its components.

On my skin, it opens up fizzy and floral, but the spice comes out quickly. The dry down smells very much like (my memory of) Paul Sebastian. Patrick Bateman wore PSFC—maybe that's where "Danger" comes from? lol It's got an old spice vibe to it for sure—but in a sophisticated, mature, and classy way. A modern comparison...may be Viking, but this feel more buttoned-up. I wear Viking for casual occasions frequently. Danger feels more appropriate for evening/night—something a bit more formal.

Beautiful interpretation of Guerlain's Heritage Pour Homme. I like this more than Guerlain's work. Some of Roja's creations are quite derivative (Danger = Guerlain's Heritage, Vetiver = Guerlain's Vetiver, Scandal = Dior's Eau Sauvage, 1819 = Jovoy's 21 Conduit Str), but Roja's perfumes are still very nice and, dare I say, a tad more complex than their respective inspirations. To me personally, it's a worthy purchase (although Roja's prices are indeed steep, sometimes undeservedly so).

Roja's take on Guerlain Heritage EDT. Less woody and more aromatic with added vanilla. Which one is better? I would vote for Heritage. Which one is more modern? Danger. I have not tried recent Heritage batches. For the older one I have, silage and longevity are quite similar. Both are long lasting with moderate silage, Heritage is very slightly better. In the air, it would be impossible to tell the difference. It's a versatile masculine leaning year-round office safe perfume.

cumin cumin cumin, an unfortunate note. The more i smell this one, the more i like it, but the scent of cumin will be forever burned into my mind (or nose) when I smell this one. I really dislike cumin, particularly as a flavor profile, but also as a scent. As much as I see this as a beautiful scent, it is totally unwearable for me. Ill leave this one for me to enjoy off others skin and put my sample decant away to smell whenever i have that "danger" craving.

A modernized old-school scent. Overall, high quality and well blended, very masculine but for some people it might give "a grandpa vibe". I would prefer this one over the Perfume version, PC is more pungent, brighter, and somewhat "lighter" (not in terms of longevity) this is the right concentration for this kind of scent. Lasts on skin for up to 8 hours, and projects for about 2 hours, perfect weather is spring, early summer, and maybe early fall.

Roja Dove Danger Parfum Cologne is a magnificent fragrance. Fresh, clean, soft, woodsy, manly and complex. It smells unmistakably of the highest quality and it is truly a perfume for men. I get a bit of a sweet fruit note after 3-5 hours. I'm guessing it's the rhubarb and vanilla. 10/10 fragrance. Not blind buy safe due to the price. But I can't imagine a lot of people not liking this.

On my skin, this completely passed the top notes and went right to powder. I love Roja Dove, but this fragrance doesn't work for me. I own 2 FBs of other juices from him. It's 4 months later, and I decided to try another sample. I'm getting more of the base musk and leather this time, but this composition is really too rich for me to describe. This will definitely go on my wish list.

Roja Danger Pour Homme EDP was one of the best perfumes of all times but sadly it has been discontinued. This is supposed to replace it but hey the magic of the EDP is gone. The perfume cologne does not have the same depth and refinement - this is a watered down version of Danger and much cheaper smelling. Bad decisions made by Roja.

Good fougere, the lavender is really prominent as the backbone alongside other woody and earthy notes. In my humble opinion not as easy to wear as Enigma Cologne, but still a decent scent regardless. Great introductory scent to the niche world. Very luxurious smell, but I wish the projection is a bit better.

Nice fougere. I don’t get the cumin / body odor -vibe at all. I had to smell some cumin in my kitchen, but I don’t get it actually. I had more trouble with Scandal, smelling like poop in the dry down. I think it’s a light scent with low sillage. This one is nice, but not a love.

Smells so much like my dad after he shaved. He used to use Mennen Afta or Skin Bracer after shave skin condition lotion. It's nice to experience that smell again. Danger Cologne may have better performance and presentation, but $300 compare to $5, I know what I would buy.

I was somewhat disappointed with Elysium, so almost didn't bother with this one, but glad I tried it. This is a classic, clean, masculine fragrance. I've smelled others like this in the past, but none match the quality. This is a "best in class" kind of deal.

It seems to be a lighter version of the Parfum. I prefer the Parfum, but due to price have a bottle of this "Parfum Cologne". Its close to the Guerlain Heritage profile, with added cumin. I like Heritage more, but this is pretty good.
