Elysium Pour Femme

Roja Elysium Pour Femme immediately transported me back to the 1990s. It reminds me of opening the September issue of Vogue and getting that first waft of freshly printed paper mixed with all the fragrance samples tucked inside. There’s something about it that captures that experience perfectly as a blend of countless perfumes coming together into something clean, elegant, and just slightly fruity at the opening. As it settles, gorgeous notes of lily of the valley, freesia, and peony stand out on my skin. The overall effect is fresh and polished, but there’s also a nostalgic quality that keeps drawing me back in. I honestly don’t understand why this fragrance gets so much hate. Perhaps it’s the price point. I managed to find my bottle for a steal, and I’m very glad I went for the full size. What surprised me most is the performance. For a fragrance that wears so cleanly, the longevity is beastly. It’s the kind of scent that feels effortlessly put together while still having real presence. If you’re curious, I’d recommend starting with a travel size. But fair warning: you may end up wanting a full bottle. I can already tell this is going to become one of my favorite layering fragrances for boosting softer performers. Chanel Gardenia, I’m looking at you.

Elysium Pour Femme Roja Dove WOW! This starts off very floral, turns so strong to musk that it is very soapy. Initially, strong, sweet floral and as I said, musk. Overwhelming to my nose. I thought it was a definite not full bottle worthy. Thennnnnn, hours later it softens to a very seductive, classy feminine fragrance. I’m picking up citrus, jasmine, violet, musk, very softly though. It has me in its hold and won’t let me go. But, you have to very patient and wait for it to settle into its lovely complexity. I’m adding to my purchase list because as an addicted perfume collector I think I must have it.

This is so beautiful! Fresh floral with hints of fruit and a slight powdery finish. I mainly get jasmine and freesia with hints of peach, and i would have sworn there is gardenia in there also even though it's not listed as a note. If I had blindly smelled this not knowing who it was made by I would have to thought it was a Kim Kardashian/KKW fragrance - gives the same vibe as Iconic Gardenia, Desert Rose, etc. I got the travel because it is definitely pricey but I don't believe I would have regretted buying a full size of this one 🥰 she is absolutely gorgeous!

I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do. It is not the normal Roja style, this is a really sweet, fun and easy. I can understand people making the comparison to designer perfumes as it has that same level of mass appeal and sweetness. It has a very appealing fruity, floral, creamy vibe about it, I get the reference of it smelling like the best hair conditioner ever. It might not be the normal Roja style but objectively it’s a good smelling perfume.

First impression: I received my travel bottle this morning and have been wearing it for a few hours. I am glad to have it. I have been looking for a bright, feminine leaning fragrance for spring and summer. I do think it is lovely and could be an unoffensive office and daytime fragrance. It is bright and slightly sweet. I really like it but I need Give it a week’s worth of wear before I can give a comprehensive review.

Bought this for my wife. She likes it quite a bit but when she wears it and I smell it on her I can’t get enough of it and almost lose control(not that she needs a perfume for that, you know what I mean) lol. This seems to get a decent amount of hate on here that is surprising to me. It smells really good and is easy to pull off for a middle to younger aged woman.

Edit: I bought a full bottle! It may be generic to some, but it gave happy and nostalgic to my nose, the projection is mid, and lasts about half a day on skin. It's such a lovely, dewy patch of rain washed flowers. Cooling, uplifting, happy fragrance. With the price I plan to wear my sample for a couple of weeks in spring before considering buying.

Roja needs to stop taking my money. I wish I could feel like the people saying nothing special etc. This scent is sparkling summer fairy dust! It's airy and fruity, but soft and warm. I could not stop thinking about it and finally bought a full bottle. The bottle is gorgeous too and matches the vibe.

Smells like the best hair conditioner of your life. Creamy, soapy, flowery sweetness. Touch of honey as well. 45/50.

I reviewed this before but my thoughts are changing so adding another.... I woke up today with an out of the blue nostalgic urge to get my nose on J'adore so I went out and bought a bottle and I am so disappointed with the state of the current J'adore reformulation. It absolutely did not scratch the itch. I wanted to be transported back in time to 1999 when J'adore was on everyone's Christmas wish list and it felt golden, warm and luxurious and this is such a let down. Since around that time in the 90s, the fruity floral shampoo scent profile has been flogged to death. It is perplexing then, when a house like Roja comes along and puts out such a generic offering that smells like so many designer fragrances, and then pulls the proverbial finger at us with its niche price tag. I still think Elysium is terrible value for money. HOWEVER.....trying it again against the current formulation of J'adore, it is Elysium that is scratching the nostalgia itch for me today and I have to admit that this fragrance is actually quite gorgeous in the dry down. The longevity is good and it smells of high quality ingredients, even if the overall profile is pretty generic. I may even pick up a 10ml of this once my sample runs out. I think it's a good choice for those who really enjoy the fruity floral but who don't want to smell cheap. So many of the fruity florals from the past few decades have been watered down to cheap smelling ghosts of their former selves that disappear within the hour. Elysium offers a modern take on a fruity floral that hearkens back to when the fruity floral was actually good.

It smells pretty, sophisticated. However, this is like... the very definition of a generic perfume. Smells designer. Which personally I enjoy crowd pleasing perfumes and I certainly appreciate both designer and niche, the price tag on this just feels like robbery!! As the girliest of girly girls, i refused to accept the reviews claiming the same... which is to say, I want this bottle in my collection, and I would make absolutely any excuse to get it there!! Unfortunately, the juice just did not give me the ammo I needed to justify a fully bottle!! Even just a pinch of uniqueness... sadly, no. Maybe I’m crazy, but it reminds me a little bit of J’adore... notes aren’t that similar but, J’adore was my signature scent for all of my 20s, and for whatever reason this is instantly bringing me right back to that!! I’ll have to do a comparison, I haven’t worn it in awhile. It’s a beautiful perfume, I actually find it to be highly versatile and would be appropriate year round if DESIRED, though I’m someone who tends to gravitate towards bottles that shift with the seasons! I do really like it so much, just not for the price. It’s actually a bit shampooey, which is not a bad thing in my book!

Reviewing Elysium EDP pour Femme 2024 bottle. Released in 2024. Beautiful fragrance - very pretty high quality floral. Citrus and fruit are very subtle in the opening. Then a bouquet of florals enveloped in soft musk. The florals become slightly indolic in the drydown as they blend with gentle aromatic woods. Beautiful but boring - it lacks contrast. Quality - excellent 5/5 Feminine Performance- excellent 4/5 I see a feminine young lady receiving this for her sweet 16 or as a wedding fragrance. So why the disappointment? Elysium and it's derivatives are stunningly gorgeous and interesting so I suppose that I expected a female leaning version keeping the Elysium DNA with only a few tweaks. This bears no resemblance to Elysium and perhaps should be re-named. Also, this seems to have been created for an imaginary woman from another era. Real women are complex and their fragrance should be more than just high quality florals. For now,I am happy wearing the existing Elysium marketed to men as I feel that it is unisex enough. 7.5/10

I agree with the Escada LE Summer Fragrance comparisons. I think it is most similar to Santorini Sunrise - both have mandarin, jasmine, and pink pepper notes. Elysium starts out with more citrus kick, and the freesia sings after a few hours. Its really lovely, and longevity is great. Can we also talk about the bottle?! Its iridescent pinkness makes my girly heart glad. If you can afford this, you will smell pretty and you will have a beautiful display piece too. Is it worth the price tag? I think its hard to justify a price that high for any perfume. No, it does NOT smell like a cheap cleaning product as a few negative reviews have suggested. I feel like hating on fruity florals is a trend.

It's in the angelic category and like a bridal fragrance. Smell of a clean white sheet... I mostly get freesia, lotus and jasmine as soon as I put it on, sandalwood and vanilla also come in, but lightly. The middle is more white musk. At the end, there is some indolic jasmine lurking underneath all that cleanliness. But... such a familiar scent, as if you could find it anywhere. Edit: The lasting-power is extraordinary! I can't imagine the extrait version.

A perfectly agreeable bright fruity floral. Shampoo vibes. Well blended. It smells very pretty but I am not in love and I'm not about to pay niche prices for this. The fruity opening smells like J'adore but it dries down to something else. I was waiting for a lovely dry down but it only lasted a few hours on my skin. If you like designer fruity florals you may very well love it but it's not good value.

Congrats Roja Dove: you’ve recreated Dior J’Adore. Maybe leaning towards the 2024 FK iteration, but J’Adore nonetheless. Feels opulent and elegant; but the price tag is something to consider especially when the scent profile can be obtained at a fraction of this cost.

This is very floral ... based on the notes I was expecting more citrus ... it’s ok ,it’s a very generic fragrance - not much complexity ... all I gotta say is .. 🫤 mehh. I don’t think it’s full bottle worthy ... it’s nice .. but not for that hefty price tag.

This one is tough for me. It is a fruity, floral; I wouldn't describe it as "bright". To me it is a bit sour at times. I will say that I regret purchasing it because it was expensive, and I never reach for it.

My first Roja experience and I’m a little underwhelmed. It’s a soapy floral very reminiscent of J’adore. Still a very pretty scent but not at this price point unfortunately.

Really nice and surprisingly strong for Roja. Super strong on me! Warm,creamy,floral and reminds me of Olympia Paco Rabanne but finer, richer better blended. I like it :-)

Roja Parfums Elysium Pour Femme is... fine. It’s exactly what people say — a bright, fruity floral (but with a powdery base) that leans into that clean, shampoo-like territory. It’s pleasant and inoffensive, but for a Roja fragrance, it feels surprisingly basic. It has a polished freshness that’s nice enough but not particularly memorable. I’m glad I didn’t blind buy a full bottle. The travel size was the right call — wearing it a few times confirmed that while it’s perfectly fine, it’s not special or something I’d reach for over other fragrances in my collection. On the plus side, it has great longevity and the bottle (even the travel spray) is so adorable.

This is a very basic "designer-esque" fruity floral scent. The opening is very sweet, very fruity, very floral. No particular scent stands out... and when I look and the plethora of notes in this, it's no wonder. The dry down got more interesting. It turned into a mild clean laundry detergent scent. Then it evolved into a very weak powdery skin scent. It's pleasant. Not overpowering. Safe blind buy worthy if you enjoy basic designer-type fragrances. I got maybe 4-5 hours before it was almost undetectable on my skin. Glad I tried it. But not planning to add this to my collection.

The bottle is *stunning* but the fragrance itself is a let down. Smells very designer (which is fine, except for the price you are paying). Honestly reminds me of a sweet old lady who loves her drugstore perfume and smokes cigarettes on the couch 😒 It isn't worth the money, to be honest, but I will enjoy looking at the bottle on my dresser. 🤷🏻♀️

I read someone called this cartoony, and I couldn’t agree more. It smells like a high hyper femme end shampoo marketed to teens. This is cartoonishly floral and fruity and doesn’t feel all that refined, and certainly not expensive. I can’t imagine investing $300+ in a full bottle. Kudos to the marketing team though.

This is really pretty, but as much as I love to simp for Roja, I have to cede that all of the criticisms of Elysium Pour Femme are valid. It definitely leans generic and designer and doesn’t justify its price point, similar to the original Elysium. It’s also a little too powdery for my tastes.

Yes the rumours are true - this is a more long lasting (not eternal mind you!!!) Escada. The bottle is pretty, gorgeous even. Still i think we should boycott Roja until they become ashamed of themselves and never price anything this expensively ever again.

Light. Fresh. Floral. A basic light, floral and fresh scent for fleeting lasting power and a crazy skyrocketing price!? No thanks. I’d rather smell divine without having to blow my savings away.

It’s an ok perfume for me, it didn’t wow me like elexir which I have and love.

Overpriced J’adore. Why was this made?

Just got my decant of Elysium pour Femme and trying it on my skin, it is V E R Y floral. To the point of almost feeling like I got punched in the face by a gigantic floral bouquet. And not necessarily in a good way... I can smell the quality of the notes in there but this is taking a direction I do not like (on my skin, of course)... After a few minutes, this has become soapy and tame. It smells very pretty but also very blah. . . 😑 a bit boring and definitely not the Roja perfumes I have smelled before... I definitely think this is more mass appealing and should be mentioned to all future brides out there. This is perfect for being in a crowded event without offending those in your vicinity. Springtime and floral and bridal are my three descriptive words for Elysium pour Femme. I’ll stick to my 5ml decant as I do not think it is full bottle worthy for me, personally.

I had high hopes for this one because everyone said it was similar to J'adore, but it's not at all. Even my colleague (who is not really into fragrances) said this is so good (He said he wants his future girlfriend would wear it). It starts with woody powdery fruity (peach, berry, sandalwood, vanilla), then the white floral part comes up. It smells like a cheap car air freshener. The floral part of the body reminds me of J'adore because it's white floral, but the whole scent is clumped together like a mud lump and doesn't leave a nice trail - the floral part just sinks in. I would have rather this was more like J'adore. a total disappointment. It smells like a nameless shampoo from Europe somewhere.

Someone said it smells like Escada and exactly that. I had this specific Escada perfume back in the 2000's, cant remember the name for the life of me but I'm sure it was also a similar colour botte. This lacks depth, all I get is fruity floral, its very feminine, nothing more, very simple. Its too basic for the price. Projection is ok, longevity mediocre, again, for the price, not worth your coin.

Roja does mainstream designer "fruit plus musk". For a Roja Parfums fragrance, the florals were surprisingly scratchy and unconvincing. The entire impression was rough, screechy, thin; in short, lacking the signature Roja smoothness and perfect blend that his perfumers are so skilled at. Shocking, given the extortionate price point.

It's a fruity scent... I don't see the hype. There's definitely better fruity perfumes out there with more complexity and depth. This smells like a cheap fruity shampoo.

It reminds me of 90’s women’s scent from Avon. Ultra generic and a bit dated at this point.

Bright citrusy floral bouquet. Chanel Chance eau Tendre comes to mind.

i love roja but this creation from him is utterly disappointing! first off, this smells way too cheap for its price, way too mainstream & boring. i swear i have smelt something like this before walking around in sephora. secondly, below average performance too. i swear this smells like something mfk or pdm would do or even a low/mid end designer would do, no way someone should pay the asking price for this. im sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this is probably the worst roja's female marketed scent, you're better off getting enigma or his unisex fragrances. so obvious that this release was a cash grab, wouldn't recommend. roja said 'elysium' is the oldest word for PARADISE, well this pour femme is more of a juvenile jail. spend your money elsewhere people! 2/10

Smells like shampoo, soap, deodorant etc, very clean, but I really don't like like it, so generic and you could literally buy soap or any supermarket shampoo and smell like this. I find Roja frustrating with female fragrances, they have a few nice male ones but completely miss the mark for the ladies.

So i bought this fragrance for my girlfriend as a birthday present. I read the reviews, mostly negative and i took that to heart when making the purchase but out of the infinite selections at neiman i decided on this one and here's why. I really love MFK and time and time again when i fall for one of his fragrances i go to the reviews and it's the same orchestra of complaints "smells like car freshener" "smells like cleaning solution". These bigger cleaning companies are getting better and better at designing quality products that smell, fantastic. really crazy right? companies spending big money on creating likeable and mass appealing scent profiles...okay you can argue that a fragrance of this calibur should go beyond that realm of scent profile but think about it, good is good. what works, works. and i trust roja dove 100% more than any of you when it comes to what smells nice. money grab or not, the elysium line is his bread and butter and i doubt he would poison it due to negligence and greed, seriously seriously doubt that. this fragrance has such a deep, clean sexiness to it, like having sex in the pool, the water, the smell of her shampoo washing into the water, the summery happy bubbles of dopamine popping around you. you absolutely have to try to create the scent association that is happening in this juice but once you do, you will see what i am saying. this is sexy as fuck, really rich girl sexy, good girl gone bad kind of thing. i refuse to believe that you guys have such a poor perception of this because it's just beautiful.

Was in the midst of washing dishes when I kept smelling this scent. I then realized this scent smells exactly like Dawn dish soap which kinda puts me off it but I'm not gonna lie I've been gravitating towards this one during hotter days a lot. It's fresh, floral, a little bit soapy (hence the Dawn dish soap) and it's elegant. No, I don't think it's terribly unique but this one really stuck out to me out of all the Roja perfumes I smelled for women. It's not too serious but it's not too sweet and juvenile either, I just think it's simply elegant. And the bottle is gorgeous as well which definitely helps. However, I won't be able to stop thinking of Dawn dish soap now every time I wear this.

I bought the fragrance because for a long time I was missing something else that would be extremely beautiful, youthful and easy compliment getter. And that's exactly what this scent is. You were right that it smells like Beyond Paradise as well as Feminin Pluriel. I definitely don't see a match with Palatine, which just smells like vintage soap to me. This is also way less white-floral than J'adore, which is mostly about the jasmine. In my opinion, it is great companion to Elysium pour Homme. Although the scents are not similar, I would describe them in the same words as above.

Total Snoozefest! Roja has so many brilliant fragrances marketed towards men that are truly stunning to the point of making your knees buckle. Sadly, I cannot say the same of the “Pour Femme.” It is frankly insulting to command a 300+ price tag to smell like a generic designer fragrance, even if it’s a high quality one. Even the silly aesthetic of the bottle to me insinuates that the Pour Femme line was kind of an afterthought for Roja, not something undertaken with the same degree of seriousness, craftsmanship, and creativity as for the male-targeted lines.

A pretty light-fruity floral. I feel the mandarin + peach (more sparkling and upscale feeling - not overly ripe or juicy) with the lily of the valley (comes off slightly shampoo-ey or soapy without actually being "soapy"). Very pretty but not something I'd reach for. However I'd love to find a fragrance that has similar notes of peach + lily of the valley but turns up the vanilla and takes it more into a floral-gourmand direction. Does anyone know a fragrance like that?? Also this reminds me somewhat of ELDO Yes I Do.

very lovely scent! a little too on the feminine side for me personally, but i find this very welcoming (for lack of a better word) it reminds me of summertime, the dry down is reminds me of a slightly indolic magazine which i find very interesting, reminds me of the film drop dead gorgeous or jawbreaker. i will say that the initial spray was a bit harsh and clean for my taste, but that goes away fairly quickly. i don't think its worth the price though, that isnt to say it's not lovely, i just expected a little more

I have / had these other perfumes that remind me of the opening of Elysium Pour Femme: Radiant Magnolia NR Magnolia Alba Chloe Jumpsuit YSL The middle and dry - down exhibit staunch differences from the interplay of subtle 3D fruit spritzer acting as a dimensional background for some soft LotV and Freesia. The dry -down is a soft violet musk not unlike Kurky by MFK. Overall very happy and pleasantly surprised with the technical charm that Roja London keeps infusing perfumes with for the delight of women and gents.

Heaven in a bottle! Absolutely gorgeous scent. I’m normally not much into too much white floral, but this scent is such beautiful and well rounded with the musk. I understand why some say j’adore as it has some similarities in the opening, but once it dries down they are not alike at all. Stunning bottle! Tried it in Bloomingdales and was in love at first sniff and had to buy it. The dry down is sooo much better than what I expected. Absolutely gorgeous

This is not for me, it's a very fresh floral. I get a bit of fresh fruit for a min and then it's a peony/lotv/cyclamen mix with a bit of dryer sheet musk. Super fresh, nice for spring. If you like those kind of scents you will be happy! It reminds me of something I wore in school.. maybe the original Vera Wang? Unlike the poster below, I get 0 vanilla.

You people are a joke. Grown adults doing this? You don’t have this. You can’t rate it but yet you want to come on here and leave bad ratings? It’s ridiculous. Seriously look in the mirror and ask yourself why you’re so unhappy. Worst website in the world, and that’s only because of you. The concept and site in itself is awesome. You ruin it.
