Enigma Pour Femme Essence De Parfum

Fruity Rose with a warm woody kick. Really beautiful. A lovely rose, a bit fruity rather than fresh or green, slightly warm and tart, and you can smell the vanilla. I have soooo many Rose perfumes, and yet I still need this. And I much prefer it to the fruity light Elixir Essence. I think it’s a bit overpriced, even though it smells beautiful, and im sure the ingredients are top quality. Edit: I bought a bottle.....

This smells 90% similar to the Parfum version but the opening is more citrusy. Considering the lack of longevity in the parfum, I would suggest just purchasing the Essence version. The scent is absolutely stunning with powdery rose and vanilla with an orris backdrop.

This is gorgeous. Sweet mega-powder vanilla-rose-peach combo. The vanilla is giving TF Noir Pour Femme vibes. Gentle and smooth, nothing screechy here. This is a soft, comforting skin scent, perfect for bed time or lounging around at home.

Tested it once, seem very floral from begining, elegant. A like.

I’m with “ladyjb”. Cozy, powdery, elegant, versatile. Probably I wouldn’t wear it in the heat of summer. In the vein of Lancôme Peut Etre , Versailles Passion. Very close to Burberry Body, but it’s higher quality, better ingredients, more rosy. Also creamy like Dior Joy Intense towards the drydown. Powder vanilla heliotrope like Hypnose etc ... The rose is the type I find in MFK A la Rose pour femme, Miss Dior Roses n’ Roses etc ... Bulgarian rose water instantly comes to mind. The geranium note adds to it a nice green veil. It’s mesmerizing in comparison to all these fragrances. Despite all the resemblances with other fragrances, Enigma has its own thing going on. It’s unique among its counterparts, but shares a specific “Roja DNA” with other, different fragrances from the house (51; Elixir; Enigma Aoud etc..) Despite the easy-to-understand Rose+Peach combo and its classy and traditional side from the slightly stern elegance of patchouli+geranium, it’s not boring and anyone age 25+ can find an occasion to wear it. It could give vintage vibes to someone because of the perfumes I mentioned above, but I mostly hear that it smells like “old money”, rather than “old people” lol. What gives a unique spin to this perfume is an unusual woody+powdery+tamed fruity note. When I first smelled it, I began wondering if it could be banana (similar to the banana 🍌 note in D&G Sicily - probably it’s the ylang), or a strawberry 🍓 note (like the one in THOO Keep Glazed - not acidic and fresh, but dried or lyophilized, creamy, woodsy, strawberries) , or maybe even both!? This woodsy strawberry touch is experienced the most in the opening together with the bergamot, after which they fade and the rose and the peach start to come forward more distinctly. This strawberry+banana thing doesn’t disappear completely, but somehow fades into the distance and blends nicely with the violet, which is very natural - like dried crushed into powder wild violets with icing sugar. The ylang ylang together with the vanilla is so creamy that it feels like icecream. This makes for a violet+banana icecream with dried strawberries over creamy peach mousse with rose water, blended with powdery sandalwood heliotrope and stably united by the thread of invisible musc. Enigma is very special and balanced to perfection. Nothing sticks out. It feels natural and soothing. It’s powdery, but I find it sheer rather than stuffy. I wouldn’t call perfumes masterpieces just because I love them, but when there’s merit to it. I think this composition qualifies and it manages to achieve all this in a subtle and never tiring way. This could be a signature fragrance for someone who blends with it. I recommend Enigma for the collection of anyone who appreciates gentle violet+peach+rose+ylang combos on powdery woodsy creamy base. And if you love white flowers more than you love roses, get also a sample of 51. Elixir is also worth sampling if you wish more sheer rosewater and less violets and heliotrope density than what Enigma offers. I’m constantly torn between Enigma and 51 - I am not sure if any of them would ever leave the throne to the other, so for now they are sharing it like two nice sisters, taking turns which one will wear the crown for the day.

Beautiful, warm, soft and comforting scent. Slightly fruity rose, peach and beautiful warm geranium, ylang, neroli, some woody undertones, all rounded with a tender vanilla touch. A bit dry but very smooth, "hug me" fragrance. For me it is an ideal warm and soft fragrance for winter or late autumn. Persistent but never cloying. So easy to wear.

I sprayed this and was met with a light, fruity, powdery floral. Inoffensive, but also very unimpressive. However, the dry down is nice. The fruitiness settles down, the rose peeks out, the powder turns creamy and blends beautifully with sandalwood and vanilla. This is an elegant scent, suitable for formal occasion wear....but do I actually need yet another formal occasion wear? Definitely not.

Initial impression: vintage smelling rose and musk. Cannot justify the price to smell like this. Instant scrubber.

This is a comment for Roja CREATION-E. I have not ever smelled Enigma (though I wish I did) so I cannot really make a comparison. I am here to say that this beauty is A M A Z I N G!!! From the look of the purple ombré bottle to the juice inside!! Absolute perfection!! It smells rich, opulent, luxurious and like a goddess! I am so glad I took the plunge, I will be rocking this baby during Fall and Winter like there is no tomorrow✨✨ Peach 🍑 perfection with a hint of powder, spice and patchouli (just a hint though)! The florals are beautifully blended and create a spellbinding base for this love potion. To me, this is witchcraft and I am in heaven!!

The top notes are very strong and don't seem to correspond to the listed notes at all. Once the perfume dries down, it does indeed become a pleasant fruity floral scent very similar to Elixir Pour Femme.
