Enigma Roja Dove (Parfum, Edition Speciale, 100 ml. - (It is the same as 50 ml.), 250 USD) ===Review on October 31, 2024=== I been though the process of crystalize the fragrance lately. The perfumery, The perfumer, The blending, The raw material ingredient. The marketing and everything behind the brand. And my point of view changed. At this moment, I think nothing better than judging the juice and execution itself.. Still I find the material of Enigma intriguingly beautiful. And Enigma is concoction of High quality Material Ylang, Jasmine, Rose on Clean nice fluffy Sandalwood and New world amber, Peach Lactone. This is surely a classic woman fragrance. This concoction seems familiar, right? Because this uses a classic blue print of woman perfume. Chanel No.5, Guerlain Samsara, Givenchy Amariage. Which later, develop into more floral forefront and Peach dominant than Sandalwood i.e. Gabrielle Essence, Ylang Ylang Nosy Be, MFK APOM, Dior J'dore. MDCI Promesse de l'Aube and everything nice. Ylang floral bouquet-Fruity-Sandalwood is concoction that can't go wrong surely. It been proof many time, it is a classic choice. Here, House like Roja Dove similar to House of Boadicea the Victorious. Nothing new really provides to the marketing nor it is the trend settle. It is a refine scent with high quality material. The minor point I would like to point out being that. Roja Dove, to be honest not really innovative in the way of his blend. It is rather classic than twist but he is smooth hands who know how to put note together. And selective on Material, result in High quality fragrance and be loved by certain people who appreciate the material. At this point, I kind of known. This isn't far behind something I have been sniff before. In modern fragrance. But at the same time, the quality of Ylang, Rose, Jasmin and Sandalwood. Kind of Intrigue me, This ylang surely beautiful and natural. On my skin it go boozy and also soft-banana like. Damn, I can say it is addictive. I think I will cling on my bottle of Enigma Perfume. Because it is surely enjoyable fragrance. But please accept my POV that Roja Dove's fragrance. Might be truly made for a rich people who enjoy the quality than creativity. And if that's your realm, I think Roja Dove's fragrance really answer what you need. I think I can surely pass the rest to the declutter sales. Or to the certain degree, Roja Amber Aoud. ===First Impression=== Enigma Roja Dove, is 1 of the 3 I like enough to commit the full bottle. Other 2 is Amber Aoud and De La Nuit 2. I think his interpretation on Amber is very good. I like Amber in general so yeah, His Amber one is my preference. De La Nuit 2, is special as it is integrate boozy note into Amber. I personally think this is innovating. Amber Aoud is easy to wear sweet spicy ambery Rose & Oud. You know, I cannot just let it go. It hits everything that the good fragrance should be. If there is one word I can describe Enigma or other his femme creation, It would be "Contemporary". I find him love to twist old classic with modern edge, using better quality material. I agree with Karinavi, I sniff both Elixir and 51 and I can feel his adjust certain note to be dominant. Good thing that you haven't need to buy everything, Just one suite you the most. 51 emphasis on Ylang-Ylang, Elixir emphasis on Peach note. Enigma is Floral... As my personal preference & style. Enigma is goldilocks of his female offering. It is well round. You can almost say it is boring but I am enjoy a bit of everything. Peach note in old way smoothly merge with Floral Bouquet that beautifully blend. And end up with Elegant powdery feel with good combination of Orris, Heliotrope, musk and Sandalwood. His magic hands, always top notch when it comes to blending. And I can't ignore the fact that I really do enjoy Enigma. He use sweet modern amber to ground everything together. however, It is sweet beyond I can say it is authentic Ambergris. I know there will be quite a ton of something similar to this. Even might be part of older Guerlain. But this is what Roja did best. "He recreate the fragrance of old way in new world, good material" Sudden, this is just enough for me to pull the trigger. Personally, I enjoy this one the most of all Roja creation. 10/10 Ps. I love spicy rose, so Nowa is on edge tho. Might be finally put the trigger

Creation E. I lucked out and got one of the first versions. My bottle is loaded with spicy orris, musk, ambergris...really expensive stuff. You can just smell the luxury rolling off this. Powdery heliotrope, rose, peach and geranium to lend a spicy green bitter nuance. Jasmine faintly dances under the orris and thick ylang. vanilla, sandalwood starts to smooth it all down in the end. If you know fine materials in fragrances, this is exemplary quality. I spray my teddy bear with it for sweet dreams If youd like a lighter alternative with a similar feel try Joy Forever edp by Patou.

This is an overdose of powder and roses. Strangely, I find it to be incredibly addictive and classy and it is definitely a scent that grows on you. The scent sits closer to the skin but creates a very pleasant cloud. Leans feminine but I would love to smell this on a man. Stunning. 9.5/10 for scent alone.

Absolutely beautiful! Refined, Warm, and feminine. Just an elegant composition all around. Expensive but it smells it! Quality crowd pleaser but still unique and yummy. I adore it.

am i the only one that feels like this, elixir, and 51 are the same thing with very minor differences (little more fruit in one, little more woodiness in another)? to me they all boil down to an ambiguous soft, peachy, powdery floral scent. it's not a bad scent by any means but it just feels so redundant going through the first few samples of the winter discovery kit i purchased, spraying one of the vials, and smelling almost exactly what i smelled in the one prior. am i crazy? is my nose bad? did these get reformulated? i mean i like the three (they smell like luxurious body and hair products to me) and i understand perfumers having distict styles, but i can't grasp what's really so special about these to warrant the praise they receive as well as the price mr roja dove is asking. imo they clearly aren't all that special considering they resemble each other so closely or are possibly just rehashes of the previous thrown onto the market every few years; i hope this is just a symptom of these belonging to his seemingly more mass-appealing line. i have samples of others (lakme, nuwa, the promfumi d'amores, a goodnight kiss, sweetie & amber aoud, etc) that i have much higher hopes for. but these very pleasant, high quality, but ultimately uninteresting and repetitive roja creations are a definite no for me.

The same peach softly floral and fruity feel of Elixir with some ambers and indolic florals - like the perfect between point between Elixir and Amber Aoud. A peachy amber. Still has the gentle feminine feel but a little more oomph. Update -- the heart of this fragrance is SO powdery on me. I don't dislike it, but I wish my skin pulled a tad less of the powder. Wears similarly on me to Narciso Poudree (again dont dislike, just was hoping for a slightly diff). The dry down pulls out more of the yellow florals.

I got a good size sample of this, and I rated it a like, because the ingredients are so high-quality. it is also blended so beautifully, but I’m starting to realize I’m not a big fan of peach. I thought I loved peach, maybe a bright sparkly peach. But this is a powdery spicy peach, it’s reminding me of Tom Ford peach. And I guess I just don’t like peach that much. I wouldn’t buy a huge bottle, but I keep spraying it periodically cause I do like the high-quality.

This really takes you on a journey through all of the notes. Clearly well made, it nevertheless doesn't seem to last very long on my skin. 4 hours later and I have a faint patchouli/ambergris scent on my arm. For $485 for 50 ml I guess I was expecting perfection. I'm glad I was only testing it. Meanwhile other scents I tested are still going strong. It's a pass for me.

I'm not sure I review the correct scent but the picture looks different (red) and has label Enigma EDP (it is a decanted tester). Maybe EDP version is just missing from the database. I smell oud and rose, it is faint overall. But at the beginning there really can be something that people describe here as peach, something fruity-floral other than rose.

Damn, the peach note is tricky. It reminds me of a hair styling product, namely Schwarzkopf Taft Looks gel (the orange one c. 2007). Doesn't project much after 1h mark. Smells heavily luxurious but too familiar, thus not original... No compliments so far. A tad on the fem side but I don't mind wearing it as a man.

Tried a tester of Enigma and wore it more than once, both during the day and at night, in casual and formal settings. It leans more floral and powdery, definitely more on the feminine side, but I guess it works. Not bad overall but I don’t see myself buying a full bottle, especially at that price. Nice, but just okay. Still not sure how I feel about it.

The smell is very similar to Burberry Body for me. This is my impression from the first spray to the dry down. The dry down is less floral and less woody. It's warmer and sweeter than Body. They're fraternal twins based on smell and that's where the similarity ends. Barely an hour has passed and it takes nose to skin to smell if it is still there.

I have the enigma eau de parfum and not this, but eau de parfum is not listed in fragrantica..

Nice boozy opening but gets fruity and powdery real quick. Strong feminine lean.

One of the best sellers in the Roja Dove collection. Its nice with a nice inspiration behind the fragrance. I believe Roja Dove was sitting in a café and saw a woman who looked as if she was given every thing in this world. Jewels on her neck, a beautiful face and elegance. If she exhaled on a man, he would fall in love. This was the inspiration. However it was nice but not as nice as the story. Not as memorable as Amber Oud. 7/10. Nice but not FB

This is basically the scent of a glass of Coca-Cola dried up for days. Nothing more. Yet it costs 320EUR.

vintage tresor with less projection and longevity. A waste of money.

Cola a little at the top, kind of old school, powdery to finish.

اللغز (ُEnigma) واحد من اجمل عطور الفانيلا لماذا لان روجا اخرج تلك النوتة من صورتها النمطية الرخيصة الشائعه الى اسلوب كلاسيكي عصري فخم عطر هرمي جميل جدا، هناك عطور ترغب ان تكون خطية وثابته واخرى ترغب ان تكون متغيره حتى تستمتع اكثر فعطر انجيما النسائي هذا عطر متغيراً يتجه للافضل والفخامة مع مرور الوقت __________________________________________________________ اختصارا للوصف لم لايحب الاسهاب في ثلاثة أسطر بداية من الفانيلا الفخمه مع رائحة حلوه تحاكي مشروب حلوه تمتزج لاحقا مع الازهار البيضاء البعيدة عن شكلها في عطور الفريش مع لمحات من الفلورا ذات الطابع الشرقي الناعم مع ولمحات من الاخشاب والعنبر الدفئ وشيئ من المسك باسلوب فخم .. __________________________________________________________ التفصبل: بداية للفانيلا مع لمحات منعشة ولمحات سويتية اقرب للمشروب الحلو بفضل الخوخ مع شعور بJواجد شي مر ربما بسبب جذور السوسن او الجيرانيوم البداية فيها لمحات من عطر انيجما((( الرجالي))). سريعا ماترتمي الفانيلا في احظان نوتات تعطي تلك الرائحه الباودرية الكريمية الجميلة بداية من زهرة الهيلوتراب وجذور السوسن ولمحات من زهور النيرولي (البعيدة عن شكلها في عطور الكلونيا) لتضفي على العطر جانب كلاسيكي جميل، حيث تمتزج تلك الازهار البيضاء مع جمال وفخامه الفانيلا وحلاة الخوخ في هذا العطر. بعد فتره وجيزة ستجد ان العطر بدأ ياخذ منحنى اخر مختلفا بشكل كبير عن بدايته حيث تخف تلك النوتة السويتية من الفانيلا للتترك المجال لليلانج والجيراونيوم للبروز اكثر مع نوتات قاعدةالعطر وفي هذه المرحلة انسجام جميل جداجدا بين النوته الباودرية والنوتة السويتية الفخمه من الخوخ والفانيلا التي اصبحت ناعمة وروائح فخامة من العنبر والمسك والاخشاب والفلورا التي التي تقودها زهرة اليلانج هذه المرحلة هي من اجمل مراحل العطر تلك النوتات السويتية الحلوه التي تحاكي مشورب الخوخ الجميل وروائح الازهار والباودر الناعمة المتزنه مع روائح الفخامه من الاخشاب والعنبر والمسك فعلا استطاع روجا ان يتحكم بنوتة الفانيلا وان يحدد وقت خروجها ووبرزها فلو استمرت على ماهي في البداية لكان العطر مملا.. في الناهية يصبح العطر اكثر نعومة حيث يخف ذلك الشعور بالنوتة اللاذعه المره لترمي الفانيلا مجددا وهي مرهقة قد قل نشاطها لتستريح في نوتات قاعدة العطر من الاخشاب والعنبر التي اصبحت اكثر نعومة. رغم حديثي عن الفانيلا لايفهم ان الفانيلا مسيطرة بشكل طاغي بل شخصية العطر هو ذلك الامتزاج الجميل الذي ذكرت بين الفانيلا الناعمة والنوتات الباودرية والازهار وخاصة اليلانج مع فخامة ودفئ العنبر وخشب الساندل او الاخشاب بشكل عام والمسك والفانيلا هنا بعيدة عن تلك الفانيلا في العطور الرخيصة التي تسبب الغيثان بل هنا لذيذة:) يذكرني هذا العطر بعطر عنبر عود واغلب عطور مجموعة العود في بعض مراحل العطر ولااعني التشابة. اكثر النوتات بروزا او ملاحظة(الفانيلا النوتات الباودرية الزهرية، العنبر والاخشاب الخوخ بقية النوتات اعتقد سيكون هناك صعوبة في تحديد بروزها كالروز والياسمين جمال الرائحة 9/10 الثبات والفوحان مرضيان بالنسبة لي. طالما وصلت هنا لاتنس ذكر والصلاة على النبي تحياتي العطرة. سعد

Ok - today I'm also tackling Creation E also know as Enigma - also known as Roja's bestseller. And, it's very pleasing. Very warm, sweetish intoxicating gourmand florals and fruit (that isn't an orange). Thank goodness for none of Roja's obsessive oud or saffron flower in this, the peach and neroli can intertwine in peace and it's pretty - very pretty. Add to this a thick warming blanket of vanilla and totally safe and seductive amber drydown, and this is easily Roja's best. However: 1) The price is obscene. 2) Past the pleasantness, what we really are seeing is your standard 'fruity note' and warm amber, musky base - couldn't Mr Roja add a tad more for the money like other far less expensive houses are doing? Is heliotrope absolute that expensive Roja? 3) Really, this should have been an Extrait strength. 4) However nice, there are definitely close alternatives from the Tauer and a few other respectable Houses. My rating: 7/10 (+1 if £350 is your lunch money) Quality: 10/10.

(im a guy btw) this fragrance starts with a note of bergamot & peach which comes off as a slightly boozy, fresh, fruity note. the top notes last like a good 2 minutes before unraveling into the mid and base. this fragrance is so smooth & fruity, i love it! the peach & rose note in this is done wonderfully, the best peach note i have ever smelt. the mid is where this fragrance really shines in my opinion but the top and base also smells amazing, i get alot of ambergris, musk, vanilla and sandalwood in the base, not so much orris but that's fine. overall, i would summarise this as a fresh floral fruity amber fragrance. fresh enough to wear in summer but powdery and sweet enough to wear in spring & fall. performance is a let down though, moderate projection & longevity, nothing too crazy. overpriced so i'm glad i bought my bottle close to 50% off retail price. performance is average but the scent is incredible. 9.5/10 (-0.5 for performance at such price point)

When I first got enigma I was slightly disappointed. It somehow reminded me of a scent my aunt used to wear years ago. But the more I wore this perfume, the more I fell in love with it. It is slightly powdery on my skin (not overly powdery as other reviewers described), with a prominent note of peach. It seems simple at first, but the longer I wear it the more nuances and layers I notice. At first, I did not detect a prominent musk note, but now it peeks through sometimes. It is a sweet perfume, but not overly sweet. It gives a candy-like feeling, a very yummy sweetness but not gourmand. I think this is the most elegant perfume I have. The longevity is good, but it is not an overly loud perfume (which is my preference). This is one of those rare perfumes for which my love grows with time rather than diminishing.

AKA Creation E pour femme. This is pleasant enough but it does not impress me enough to shell out at that freakin' redonkulous price point ($350 for 50ml). It's just a "perfumy" fruity sweet yet dry vanilla (with a bit of a hair spray/expensive hair product vibe) to my nose. Anyway, you can get the same "fix" from a ton of other brands. I don't know of a perfect clone but if you're interested (not just because of the high price or because you really love the Roja Dove brand or something) I'd recommend Molinard Vanille EDP instead which is probably the closest "dry" type of vanilla I personally have in my collection though it's not as "deep" or quite as complex a smell as Enigma.

Really pretty and feminine, I bought it blindly because I was attracted by the floral heart. I love the combination of rose, ylang-ylang, heliotrope and white flowers, especially when it contains vanilla. I really want to love it, Although it's radiant, still a little too fruity to me and feels not that matured. The sweet sour peaches cannot be ignored here. Finally, I gave it to one who like it, and I am glad that he loves it more than I do.

Enigma this is a scent that blends in with your skin. This is a compliment magnet slightly fresh and fizzy with a unique powdery vanillac background . I will tell you this not a simple lady she's bold and makes many decisions. You will look for her when she leaves the room . Roja a masterpiece

This review is about the EDP version. It’s taken my breath away. Roja, what are you doing? It’s strongly feminine in a way that’s unique in the perfumery world these days: not juvenile, unapologetically classy and elegant, and not mainstream. Still can be worn by people of any age.

This is definitely a very pretty fragrance, and its not unique. It is a lot like Burberry Body with a touch of original Tresor. While its nice,it can be a little boring and after a while, I want to spray something more complex.

This is what i call "the last creation" from the house of roja dove!! What ever comes after enigma aren't creations anymore. Please mr. Dove we really miss REAL creations, will you stop and think of one. A real one!!

Peach, ylang, orris, heliotrope, vanilla, musk, sandalwood, red roses, jasmines, & patchouli. A fair blend but never better than "Enigma Pour Homme". It's more of a sweet patchouli, and geranium.

Very powdery, old fashioned, almost almond marzipan hit initially and drying down into a sweet fruity powder. Not the worst but smells like a classic old lady perfume to me.

If you like Creed aventus, buy Clube La Nuite. If you like Roja Dove, I'm telling you to buy Birch Bees Wax Lip Balm, and I swear to god no one could tell the difference.
