Fortnum & Mason Taif Oud

I enjoy it, compared to the OG taif aoud, this is drier and has more blackcurrant, I rock with it, an oud rose for the whole year any occasion. Would cop a bottle.

Not talked about much ...but this one is absolutely stunning.....very rare gem....a true beauty

It is quite red roses, Taif roses, slight musk, and slight oud. This is an extreme Arabian fragrance that presents Taif roses and oud with some sweet notes, patchouli, lapdanum, and benzoin. It's good that it layers up and don't stay the same as the top note is quite rosy sharp in away that makes my nose bleed but settles to something quite interesting: oudi, slightly sweet, and quite dark. It's fairly good but quite overpriced, 50ml for 395GBP & that's too much for such blend.

Finally got to try it! I totally agree that after the opening it basically turns into a softer version of UAE, but what's not talked about is the noticeable aldehydes; the rose is not the sparkling fresh rose I expected, but lightly soapy, musky, & powdery—think of it as UAE dressed as Marie Antoinette lol

It smells exactly as UAE which I bought a full bottle of at Neimans, so you can Imagine my disappointment when they smelled the same, I was so puzzled I actually wrote Roja's support to ask If there was any chance my 7.5 ml sample was mislabeled. They just told me that they were indeed slightly different, and I should be able to smell them side by side and I would surely find one lighter and the other one darker and stickier. lol

gave it another try again the First 15 min to 20 min started like strongly bottle worthy ,but after that it turns Into lighter version of Roja UAE and doesn't justify the price tag , I've spent 100 dollars to get 7.5 ml sample , already regret it .

If I can keep the top notes , it Would be one of the best fragrance but it changes to become Like Roja dove UAE , which i find is deeper and richer , tho they are high quality fragrance but both doesn't deserve the asking price

This is amazing frag . One of the Roja that justifies the price tag . One spray that lasts whole day and very very nicely blended . Lemon note is very prominent with rose (may be because Taif rose is lemony) THIS GIVES ME A FEELING THAT AM ROAMING IN DUBAI LIKE A SHEIKH . 11/10 for me .

One of the best classical rose ouds. The taif rose is deep, soft and plush and balances perfectly with the slightest touch of smooth, animalic oud. The two elements are woven together finely with pure and sparkling aldehydes. Overall, it is warm, light and exceedingly civilised.

If you love Oud and Rose individually or together then you must try this. The ingredients are exquisite, the mixture magnificent, and the fragrance leaves you wanting this all the time. I was routinely smelling my arm and the scent was with me almost all day.

Amped up oud fleur by Tom Ford - very nice smells quality and expensive .... Not massively original but you feel Roja could knock these out in his sleep ...!

Almost rose smell but after 15 min getting quite with fruity, good in the winter I have tried but /i suggested do not try in the summer.

Scent is totally identical to UAE Spirit of the Union but the later is more potent. Running out of ideas?..

It's simple: A dark rose structured by REAL oud, not ambroxan.
