Fortnum & Mason The Perfume

This fragrance is a mix of surprising notes and by quickly glancing at them you could think that this is a light fruity floral juice but the base notes turns that upside down into Amber spicy slightly animalic masterpiece. In the opening this is a delicious uplifting whiff of fruits, especially peach, and after just a few seconds, the special nature of the scent becomes apparent. There comes out a rich dose of sexy and captivating animalic and even oudy vibe (it’s not listed in the notes though) thanks to Castoreum which makes this really intriguing and bold scent. Labdanum creates very leathery and intense touch into this perfume. This doesn’t even try to be mass appealing scent. This is for those who know their style and can wear this with self confidence and respect this flirting mellow blend. There is a lot of going in the warm and mossy base (Coriander, Saffron, Patchouli, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Amyris, Sandalwood, Benzoin, Vanilla, Amber, Frankincense, Birch, Labdanum, Castoreum, Musk) but like all Roja’s the blend is so ingeniously combined that it is impossible to distinguish all the individual notes. While wearing this scent you feel fresh, delicious, sexy, erotic aura around you and this scent is unforgettable! Damn is this nice. Quickly jumped into the 3rd spot of my favorite Roja’s. This is dirty and sweet at the same time. Castoreum and jasmin work together to give almost an Oud like quality to the composition while the fruit and other florals keep it airy and sweet. Gorgeous stuff.

Smoky and oudy peach rings, hell yeahhhhh. With times becomes more smoky and leathery, probably due to the castoreum note. Becomes drier by the minute. It did not wow me as I already have Kuwait, but if I did not, this would be on my wishlist. This is an all year scent for me

Got a travel spray with purchase of a FB. Smells like candy peach, like peach gummy rings or Japanese peach flavored candy. Add a bunch of oud, a light touch of rose, some vanilla, some saffron. It's a lovely blend, and I really like the peach. My issue with Roja is it's the same oud in so many of his frags. Sweetie Aoud is my true love, but this is nice too with all the sweet peach. It's a cheery and sophisticated perfume.

A very rich and powerful blend of floral amber dominant fragrance. It has big dose of animalic oud and castoreum that will only cater spesific fragrance connoisseur to enjoy. Definitely not a mass appealing fragrance because of the middle eastern style here. The juicy sweet profile reminds me of DNA found in most Hind Al Oud creations.

I really do like this but I wouldn't wear it, smooth peachy birch, similar to Blamage by Nasomatto, with a nice castoreum

This is a feminine hybrid between fruity aoud & Kuwait.

215alive nailed it. I own both, fruity Odd and Kuwait. Neither are my favorite Rojas - Kuwait I blind bought based on reviews and Fruity Oud I was pressured into by a salesman at Bergdorf Goodman. Both are fine fragrances, and I love Roja perfumes, but these two I don't often wear. Kuwait, in particular, is a hard to wear perfume (for me), and Fruity Oud is not a favorite of mine. The two bottles sit on a shelf looking beautiful. Fortnum & Mason The Perfume was a discovery atomizer for me, and I knew right away I would not purchase a full bottle because the fragrance was so familiar.. This perfume is something like 60-70% Fruity Oud and 30-40% Kuwait. Nice, but nothing new..

This opens with jasmine, rose, and peach with a slight tartness by way of lemon. This soft sweet floral mix sits on a smooth blend of labdanum, oud, saffron, vanilla, and a touch of birch/incense that shows later on. As a whole it’s not as sweet or fruity as Kuwait and noticeably more floral. It’s a great balance between the fresh opening and oriental base. 7.5/10 with good overall performance; quite versatile.

As someone said, F&M is dirty and sweet at the same time - it is an intense fragrance that is extremely well balanced. its a very unique composition If you are not a fan of Castoreum, try this one - it might change your mind It does lean to the "too sweet" part of the scale so buyer beware Powerful performance Love it. really weird one

It's a purely feminine scent, stop confusing and annoying the readers with "women and men" label. Political correctness has nothing to do with perfumery or professionalism in general.

Starts skanky but dries down to a smoother and sexier version of Delina Exclusif. It’s a love for me.
