Isola Verde

I recently tried Isola Verde, and from the first spray, it felt like a cool and wearable perfume. The composition is beautifully crafted—fresh, bright, and juicy, with a little acidic kick that makes it uplifting. I immediately caught the zest of lime, the airy sweetness of what perfumery calls "melon," and a soft floral undertone tying it all together. What stands out to me is how balanced it is; nothing feels too sharp, it is harmonious, rounded, and clearly of good quality. I can't compare it to the other Isolas from Roja because I haven't tried them yet, and I find comparisons to Trump or Barbie fragrances unfair, as they cheapen this perfume. I also tried Limonata from Narcotica, which won me over. On my skin, Isola Verde moves like this: fresh citrus → floral-fruity → soft sweetness → woody freshness. The only downside? 💵 It’s pricey.

I have a 10ml sample. Been spritzing it on me at my office desk... mainly just to add some sunny vibes to my day! But then something happened! I fell in love with this. For me it leans unisex masculine due to the green notes, but don’t be fooled it’s the Guava and melon that pull this into signature scent worthy superstardom. It makes me so happy. It’s bright, indulgent, blended to perfection, and gives you 100% fruity and syrupy green leaves . I can’t wait to wear this in bursting hot sunshine when I travel next year. I just can’t afford a big bottle yet. So will continue to look for the smaller sizes until I’ve saved up. Adore

This is a very, very nice fragrance and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Starts out fruity but the drydown is where this shines and I do believe this leans masculine. Performs well and I do believe this is a profile you can wear most of the year, not simply in the heat. Another Roja masterpiece and although it may be overpriced retail wise, it's a bargain on discounters.

The tropical fruit is beautifully tempered by magnolia, pepper, tobacco and sandalwood. Fantastically balanced. So evocative of a beautiful night in the (sub)tropics it actually brings me the very rare feeling of nostalgia and a tear to my eye. I almost regret getting a sample of this because I think I will have to get a full bottle.

Very pleasing warm weather daytime scent. Almost reminds me of Porthole if you took out the iodine and ramp up the florals. I’d say it’s unisex but definitely leaning toward the femme side. Still easily wearable for anyone. Also, it smells very similar to a mock orange blossom. I’m surprised it is not in the notes

its a shame that roja fragrances especially in this line are very expensive, as this is one of the best fragrances ive ever tried. guava happens to be one of my favourite fruits, and it's perfectly encapsulated in this fragrance. one of the best scents ive ever smelled.

This fragrance was a surprise. I was expecting all kinds of summery fruits tropical feeling, it is but in a masculine l’inmensite LV way, very woody, super good. Surprised to say the least. Best blind buy not joking great

My wife and I share this one. A man can pull this offfir sure, but it's fruity and fun for the summer. Solid woody base over green-ish guava and citrus.

Super clean slightly green classic men's. Soft soapy fruit earthy green tropical leafsmell with a touch of barbers shop I absolutely love this

Fruity and juicy melon - mango smell, I like it very much. Reminds me of God of Fire at the opening.

Isola Verde is pretty nice. On my skin it is very citrusy - floral. The citrus that I get is golden grapefruit in the opening and clementine with grapefruit in the mid. I do get some florals, but I can not pick out which ones. I do not get any of the base notes like cardamom, rum, tobacco, or sandalwood at all. I would say that this is the same vibe as Isola Sol, but with added citruses. Are they super similar? No. But they are of the same vibe, very reminiscent of summer vacation. While I do find the scent to be quite nice, I don’t think that it is worth $500 to me, but it is very subjective. I would love to pick this up at $300 or below. I find Isola Verde to be unisex leaning feminine. The performance on my skin is not stellar: I get an ok longevity, but it sits rather close to the skin after about 20 minutes. I find that windy environment makes projection slightly better.

this can be an hit if roja wouldnt charge for ridiculous prices. i only find their value at discounters isola verde experience is for an acquired taste. you have to tolerate a strong sour guayaba , green mango lime opening like the isola blu ,to compensate a strong radioactive drydown .... the drydown is a tropical fougeree scent , a one of a kind green scent , it proyects and lingers around you for hours... i disagree with the perfomance being weak, my first time trying it i had to scrub it off because it does projects like a beast in the first minutes ... the drydown sticked with me for hours even i washed and scrubbed my skin...

This one was in my Harrods 2025 fragrance advent and it’s often overlooked as people shout about its more popular or larger sized comrades. I suspect this one missed its tone to shine in the summer being in an advent calendar as this is definitely a summer fragrance and it’s a lovely one! The citris notes are sweet like candied fruit as opposed to the sometimes bitter notes you can get from more zesty citrus fragrances. I don’t get any tobacco from this (which is good for me personally) I’m not the biggest fan of the note. I look forward to wearing this next summer - it’s a win for me.

Isola Verde is a stunner, transports you on a beach with Mojito in your hand 🏝️ citrusy, tangy, floral - perfect combination for summer. In Roja’s style so not juvenile, but to my surprise not old-fashioned either. Refreshing and joyful. Unsisex, personally think feminine leaning.

i like isola sol and as a man i can pull it off . smells similar to bdk saint honore which give me fresh printed cash smell. this bottle alone sold me out because the hedione, magnolia and osmanthus notes, they are my favorite floral notes now combined as one.

Sampled this yesterday at the Roja off Piccadilly. So, so good. I've a couple of frags come close - MFK Acqua Media forte (sweeter), and Hermes Eau Givree (cooler). Sadly £385 for 50ml is just way too much, it really is, and reflected in my rating. 3/5

Not a sweet fragrance at all. Smells very expensive and luxurious with the floral notes coming through mostly. I don't smell much fruit in here to be honest apart from the strong citrus notes but it still smells very delicious.

One of the better cotton releases.... Pleasanta ambery, fruity summer fragrance. Very good longevity, more personal projection/sillage

Generic fruity floral tropical scent. Summer holiday vibe. This is so ordinary and uninteresting I wouldn't have bothered to leave a review, but we need to talk about the price! £385 for 50ml!!! Outrageous. Personally I wouldn't fork out 30 quid for this. Who are the people who can throw away that kind of money on something that could easily be mistaken for a cheap teen body spray? Nothing about this is shouting expensive. It's inoffensive and well composed, but there's nothing memorable or interesting about it. Projection and longevity are nothing to shout about either. I will be passing on my 10ml from the Harrods Christmas calendar - yes of course I have opened it in August!

Very fruity yes, I prefer the fruits of Elysium but this is intriguing on first sniff for sure! However, it quickly becomes a pong-bomb as it's pretty strong, and just has that headache inducing "perfume" smell about it. (you know, the generic old perfume smell) Most of the fruit is gone within the hour, then it's a typical heavy perfume scent. Pretty feminine actually on dry down. Just seems unnecessary. ** update - this is almost turning into a scrubber, it's so strong.... it just hangs around but not morish at all.

Terribly mediocre fragrance. Yes you feel some of the notes feel luxurious but nothing memorable whatsoever. At the price point this is completely and utterly wasteful of one's money especially given many, many more attractive offerings out there. Maybe if a 100ml went for like $130 it would be relevant. IMO even YSL's Y edp was and is better in terms of creativity and definitely value.

I am afraid this to me smells like washing detergent, seriously. More affordable, powder form of detergent during the washing cycle or maybe the washing drawer itself. The opening smelled lovely and fruity but the drydown is a let down for me. I've had bad luck with Roja, seems among all my tested fragrances the only one that stood out is the discontinued oligarch which they say is isola blu but not so sure. This house seems simply not for me, no matchy matchy energy, which is blessing in disguise i guess - given how expensive their scents are.

To me personally this was really disappointing. I expected to get a guava forward scent, but I got very citrusy limes in the opening with something very green instead. No melon. This is a “limette” sorbet. Very zingy! So glad I ordered a sample because I would have been utterly devastated if I had paid that much money for a simple scent like this. Rum, Tobacco notes which I expected to have, are really soft in here. Not my kind of thing. It leans masculine by the way. 5/10... being generous.

I’m sad to say this about my beloved brand, but on my skin and into my nose, this is a pink pepper fruity bomb. It’s way too spicy for my liking. I can’t do it.

Dettol Power & Fresh Advance Green Apple/Citrus Antibacterial Spray. Nuff said.

Ever since I was a child, Daphne has been my favourite flower. Its fragrance is so uniquely beautiful, it’s almost impossible to describe. Sadly, the flower can’t be turned into an extract or oil, which means every Daphne inspired perfume is really an interpretation, filtered through the imagination of the perfumer. I’ve spent years searching for a true to life Daphne fragrance, something that could take me back to the garden of my childhood, but nothing has ever quite captured it. This fragrance completely caught me off guard. I wasn’t expecting Daphne at all, and I don’t think this perfume is trying to be Daphne, but from the very first sniff I was met with that unmistakable floral brightness and subtle citrus sparkle I love so much. Even my husband immediately recognised it. Recently I tried Penhaligon’s Daphne Bouquet, which to my nose doesn’t resemble the flower in the slightest, but the opening of this fragrance feels so much more real to me (along with a few other complimenting notes). The dry down is a lot more powdery. The sparkle gives way to an elegant and soft base that feels maternal to me. It’s beautiful, delicate yet radiant, and I can already see myself wearing it often in spring and summer.

A fragrance that reveals itself very differently on skin and on a blotter. On a blotter it sounds rather monotonous and quickly settles into the base, as if showing only the skeleton of the composition. On the skin, however, the fragrance truly comes alive and reveals itself in all its beauty, showcasing a rich, multi-layered development of notes. The opening on the skin is juicy, ripe guava framed by citrus notes. The scent feels very naturalistic and soft. As it develops, the fragrance gradually moves into the base, where a beautiful woody character emerges, not dry, but rather slightly damp, almost humid. The alcoholic accent deserves special attention, it sounds delicate and refined, subtly highlighting and enhancing the fruity facet of the composition. The tobacco is barely perceptible to me, more as a nuance that reinforces the impression of damp wood rather than as a distinct note. To me, the fragrance feels so versatile that it can be worn year-round, delighting the senses with its exquisite aroma.

Very fruity, you get mostly fruity notes from guava and melon, little bit of citrus...the combo of patchouli and davana is here adding a green herbal touch, magnolia and osmanthus are not too prominent. The ambroxan is not too bothersome here, it seems the dose used was small. I do not get boozy notes, don't get the pepper nor the tobacco. Overall it is a fruity scent that have some green herbal touches. It is ok but not something to write about and certainly not worth the huge price tag.... A sample is more than enough for me.

I like this, that bright citrus in the opening is done right, and there is a fruity component to it that's not typical. I think the name suits the fragrance, I do get a picture of the color green in my head (although this is not a green fragrance). The dry down is more into the drier sheet territory, smells like warm recently washed and dried clothes. I do prefer the opening but the dry down is nice as well.

I know this is contradictory of me, but this isn't a discussion section - I expect to see informed opinions/reviews from people who have tried the fragrance. Its like me finding a restaurant that serves cuisine I know I don't like, yet still leaving a review - its absolutely mental, just keep scrolling past.

2nd trial I get the guava , tropical dewy fruits with clear Magnolia Heart natural oil , and still think that the GIT Skelton plays in the background But new observation this time while this perfume develops at heart stage , the musk effect is so strong it plays in away that reminds me by Stellar Times style of musk accord. Sampling and sampling, still waiting to settle, today opened sheer fresh fruit bonbons. Fifth tryout, think getting some in the mid, clear airy creamy and dry non sweet fruit. Got some Roja to it, in deed a satelite though, especially to the forever-to-be-yearned-for Isola Blu.

The opening was promising. It has a beautiful fruity citrus opening, then on the drydown it completely flips to a boring earthy green scent. Too bad the opening doesn’t stay linear. It’s also very light compared to Isola blu with little to no projection.

After 10-15 mins I adore this fragrance. Green juicy tropical guava. Uplifting. Some citrus some salt some sea. Definitely island vibes. Nicely balanced nothing feels overpowering. I have yet to test the performance.

LOOOOOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. Put it on at Neimans, and it lasted until the next day. Lady at the grocery store was even telling me how good I smelled! Expensive but it’s an extrait

Although I haven’t tried it yet since it’s not out, I can tell from the notes breakdown that it’s going to be more than 80% floral, which for me is a pass.

Nice Fruity top with distinctive natural Magnolia essential oil At base it reminds me by the light green woody drydown of GIT Price is way way high Cheers

Luxurious melon/guava opening but struggling to find this after 30 minutes? £385 for 50ml is absolute bonkers for this low level of performance.
