Mischief

This is like spring in a bottle, a fun, bright, walk in the park in the middle of april. Personally, I am not acquainted with the genre of vintage green florals, this is a first and I adore it. Mischief smells exactly as how It should! Atleast according to my predictions. It is so bright and still retaining this depth underneath it. Violet, creamy bright white florals and some fruity nuance, maybe the peach/rose combo?

This is a cold, stark emotionally unavailable flower. There is no mischief here. There is nothing playful or naughty about this fragrance. This is not charming exuberance. This is a sheer, pale undetectable existence. I am so underwhelmed and disappointed in this fragrance. Instead of a coy and lush green floral, I smell a dull, faded and worn down red eraser of a number two graphite pencil. Now I know why this fragrance has barely been reviewed. This was not a successful blind buy but at least I didn’t pay full price. This is one Roja to avoid.

Wait, nobody has reviewed this since it's release 4 years ago? Was it an exclusive or something? Anyway I'll start. This is quite unimpressive really, I have smelled this type of fragrance many times before. It's a pretty safe, run-of-the-mill type floral. Clean Jasmine, orange blossom, a slight freshness and lightness to the entire blend. There's a slight hint of greenery from the Galabanum too. It just feels very familiar. I see that people have voted that it smells like Diorissimo and I have to agree, this has been done before. So many of the notes in here are never shown unfortunately. It's really all about a bouquet of spring like florals that are mushed into each other to create a "perfumey" Jasmine/Orange blossom combination. The plus is that it's quite potent, and it does waft beautifully with a good sillage. It's just the actual smell that doesn't really blow your socks off! It's safe. :)
