O The Exclusive Parfum

My 6th bottle of Roja Dove, and I cant stop smelling this on my skin. Its so smooth, creamy and delicious. I get great sillage. It feels amazing to wear!

Tried this at Oberpollinger; didn't sufficiently distinguish itself from similar scents within the RD portfolio.

Big Roja fan here. I’m up 9 FB and many travel atomizer. This is one of the few Rojas that was a scrubber for me. I can kinda see the resemblance to Black Tier. I think it’s the raspberry note with Oud that calls that brings about the comparisons. That’s pretty much where the comparisons end though. There’s a note in O that is very screechy and cloying. The kinda of cloying that makes you mildly nauseous and ruins you on fragrances for the rest of the day. I think it’s an artificial fruity accord. It’s so out of place and off putting. Kinda like a man in a custom fitted tux but then is wearing an old pair of sneakers. Just doesn’t work. Hard pass for me...I tried 3 or 4 times, just can’t do it...

O starts out with a burst of juicy raspberries and bergamot. The bergamot fades quickly as the oud makes itself known along with some florals, mainly a touch of geranium. Once we reach the drydown I’m left with a wonderful oud, leather and salty ambergris along with a healthy dose of musk, bitch, amyris, cypriol, and labdanum. I don’t find the oud here to ever be barnyard or stanky, just beautifully woody. The raspberry sticks around throughout the life of the fragrance making it exceptionally fun to wear. Performance is stellar, at 10 hours with a solid 3-4 of projection. Another absolute love for me from Roja, O is so close to being tied with Fetish as my favorite Roja, though I think I prefer the animalic edge in that one a tiny bit more. Still an absolute beauty.

I don’t find this as similar to Black Tier as many suggest. The dose of fruitiness that never leaves throughout the entire journey definitely allows it to stand alone. If you find BT a tad too dark and do not wish to purchase both, this is for you. However, you must be able to tolerate the intense raspberry and orange blossom note that really dominates this fragrance. Top shelf performance in all aspects as well. 6.5/10 since it’s not what I normally gravitate towards but friends really dig it.

@Kankuro Yeah he actually mentions leather quite a few times on the official website; I wonder why it's not here :/ "...the whole underscored by a soft, leathery base of Vanilla, Ambergris, Birch, leather-like Labdanum, and Leather, with whispers of sensual Musk."
