Risque Pour Femme Essence De Parfum

WOW. I got the discovery set for my wife and after we ran through the 7 samples it came with, we both agreed this was the ONE! Risque/Creation-R is ridiculously unique. The best way I can describe this fragrance from the start you get one of the most robust floral scents. Not in a smells floral but in a genuine someone just gave you a bouquet of the freshest flowers. When it dries down a bit it goes up another notch in that direction with a bit of wet/dampness to it. Absolutely classy. Absolutely sexy. In my personal opinion this is my favorite & its not even close. You want your significant other to smell like no other person? BUY THIS. Obviously if you're looking for someone else I'd say do what I did and get the discovery set so you can smell them all and have them pick their favorite. Sillage is good. Longevity is great. Man, I sprayed this on the back of my hand. LOL. I'm sniffing it as I type. It's intoxicating. It has such an old school fragrance type of vibe. Elegance to the max. Unique on another level. At the very least I encourage others to just grab a sample of this.

Edit: It is now winter and this wears much better in the colder weather. It is softer and the florals shine through right from the start. I quite enjoy this now but will be worn only in the winter! Original: This is a very "dry-herbal" fragrance. Unfortunately, very little florals come through on my skin and the Chamomile and Oakmoss are the stars of the show. I agree with *loves_shoes* below, in that it is sour and tart, with the dryness I mentioned before and reminds me of the old school fragrances that contain Galbanum. Risque is not a love for me as I have similar fragrances where the florals come through to balance out the dryness. I will try layering it and hopefully make it more wearable for myself. With the right skin chemistry though, this could be a great scent!

This is a whispered version of the late chypres of the 80's and 90's. It is very nice and chamomile brings the just right earthy and aromatic touch to it. Subdued and lasting power is just a few hours. The late dry down flashes something peppery and fresh. There are still very wearable classic chypres with better sillage and lasting power around so I'm left wondering who this is supposed to appeal to?

This seems fine when you smell it alone, but compare it to a predominantly white floral perfume (like scandal) and you can tell how sour and tart it actually is. It makes my mouth water, and not in a good way. It just leans far too citrus for my taste. Too much bergamot and lemon make it very tart, sour and crisp. It’s even a bit soapy, like the scent of cheap hand soap. If I had to guess I would never say its a chypre floral, I’d say citrus with a woody moss base. I can smell some florals, but not defined and not enough to class this as a floral perfume to my nose! Although they do come out more the longer its on the skin, and as I said before it appears more floral when in isolation. But with a whollop of oakmoss. It’s actually fairly unisex, and has a vibe of the 90s CK unisex frags, although the flowers do bring it to the sweet side of things. A try before you buy. Edit: after a couple of hours the florals have gone, and it’s a woody mossy male leaning unisex scent, still projecting a bit though.

Got the discovery set and this was one of the samples I liked . I’m more of a white floral girl but this is unique . It reminds me of the later notes of the perfume Antonia from Puredistance. Antonia starts of differently with its predominately spicy ivy and Galbanum but it settles into a powdery orris root . This to me smells very similar with the oak moss , vertiver , patchouli and Labdanum makes for a fougere/ chypre fragrance . More feminine with with the Jasmine and rose then unisex. Performance and longevity are outstanding , only a few sprays and I’m consumed by the scent . Not sure if it’s worthy of a bottle but beautifully made .
