ROJA PARFUMS - Risqué Bright winter floral chypré ❄️❄️💫💐 Winter fragrances are generally synonymous with a very spesific characteristics such as sweet, heavy, gourmand or dark ones. Risqué is a very special winter fragrance for me because it doesn't carry those but on the opposite it is a very bright floral chypré that can outshines even the most cold freezing temperature. Wearing it magically teleport me to the most glamour party setting full of fresh floral bouquets decoration everywhere. People are dressed in fancy outfit and the ladies wearing silk gloves. Waxy lipsticky nuance is present and mingling in the background giving a mature and confident aura. Touch of sparkling fruity champagne-like accords also noticeable but only for those who really seeking. Like all ROJA creation there's always more than what's going in the surface. This is one of the finest fragrance that manages to compose many notes into a single olfactory simphony where everything shines together. I find Risqué is very unisex but surely will highlight women's personality better as a signature scent. I can imagine public figures such as Marilyn Monroe or Kim Kardashian wearing it as their signature because it has an innocent yet flirtatious persona. Glamorous, glorious, true Chypre ROJA PARFUMS RISQUÉ POUR FEMME (2012) (In States “Creation-R”) Absolutely unisex Like almost all my purchases this was a blind buy a little bit over a year ago and I had a quite good “picture” about it in my head but I didn’t know how gorgeous it is. This very complex Chypre has an exceptional luxurious glamour from the past and imo it fits in the same category (doesn’t mean that they are same) with beloved Chypres - vintage "Givenchy III (1970) (Parfum) | Givenchy" (mine is from 70s) and original "Miss Dior (Extrait de Parfum Original) | Dior" (mine is from 60s). If you love those ones you would probably love this one too. Like those two, sadly this gem is discontinued as well. This scent is rich, intoxicating, floral, earthy and mossy with sensual Civet and velvety soft leathery touch in the base. This is for special occasions but whenever you want to feel confident, mysterious and sexy, go for it. I don’t have any of Rojas Essence de Parfums but I would love to have Risque Pour Femme in that concentration as well. In-depth review later. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. Honestly one of the best perfumes I’ve ever smelled. I know we all have our own unique taste but I’m an old school perfume fan at heart and this is like a perfected version of several old floral chypres that I love, but since it’s not actually vintage the bright notes are still bright, and the quality is stellar. I’m not someone who cares about impressing with price, I’m not that kind of Roja fan so I’m not raving for that reason. If anything I feel awkward about the price and it makes me a little uncomfortable. But this is a can’t live without it sort of perfume for me, love at first sniff. I have several bottles of Paloma Picasso (vintage and newer) and I’m sorry but I love this one more. It’s like Paloma and Magie Noire had a baby and it’s surrounded by love sparkles and people toasting champagne. A solid 10/10 for me.

I am in LOVE! This is a truly gorgeous perfume with, I think an unfortunate (slightly naff) name which does not do the scent justice at all. In Risque there is a highly addictive bright note, slightly aquatic that shines through the top, middle and base. I had set out on a quest to find a fragrance that would appeal to me (green citrus preference) yet hold and linger without being either too floral or too masculine in the dry down - and this is it, so I've started saving up because at £226 this is not an inexpensive treat but I feel, probably worth the money.

There are alot of Chypre lovers out in fragland. Problem is, were relegated to vintage bottles most of the time. As Christine said, its fresh newly minted chypre. It smells wonderful. The chamomile notes reminds me of Ardens Memoire Cherie. It reminds some of us our youths of Paloma, Maggie and other green chypres. Risque is a great choice for chypre lovers that do not want to dive back into vintage.

A very beautiful well blended green floral for me. This is my first roja dove and is a blind buy. I’m not dissapointed at all and really happy for that. For my nose it is a jasmine perfume with some greens and patchouli.

I bought the Roja Dove sample box for women . Such a great buy! Like many high end niche perfume houses , I was wondering if this was going to be classified as - “ nicely done but overly expensive “ like Creed , and Clive Christian to which I have not found a single perfume that I like . Amouage is in the same category because of its predominately Spicey notes which is too powerful for me . Hiwever , I did find two that I liked and bought. With the perfume house , Roja Dove , I found I didn’t dislike any of the seven samples even if it had notes that didn’t agree with me . I could only see myself buy one cause as a white floral lover , this one shone hands down - Scandal ! A bit powdery but so well made, I just had to have the 100 ml bottle Parfum in my collection . However , Risqué was my second favourite and based purely on the notes , I was surprised as I wouldn’t of tried it if not given in the sample box. So well blended that I didn’t mind the oakmoss or Patchouli . Notes I’m not fond of . I do believe on my skin , all 7 have an underlying soft powdery feel but wow the silage and longevity is astounding !!! One spray is enough 😱

My local shop was doing a "swap" event so I took fragrances I wasn't wearing anymore and swapped a perfume I had won in a drawing for this beauty. I typically don't like something this floral, but I've never owned a Roja before and since it was basically free I decided I'd swap for it. It's more of a mature fragrances, but since I'm 62 I might as well accept I can pull off a mature fragrance now. It lasts forever and is beautiful for a floral. I've never smelled "Flower Bomb" before, but I imagine this can beat it out in floral strength.

I love florals, but sadly on my skin all I could smell was strong lemon cleaner. I would say this is a green floral , but the florals had to fight hard to come through and lost.

Risqué is a modernized Chypre, bringing a classy sense yet beautifully elevated by citrusy notes in the opening before the florals unfolding themselves in front of you. Ylang-ylang, jasmine, and roses are more prominent to me than others but I believe there’s so much more that Roja put in here than those listed notes. I used to think of myself as a non-floral person when it comes to perfume preferences. But what I didn’t know is, with high-quality natural florals type of perfumes, I’ve grown to appreciate them more and more. Then the dry down lures me to fall for it deeper and deeper. It’s darker, more mysterious, and daring with patchouli, cedar, labdanum, and oakmoss. I definitely pick up the animalic vibe in the base but everything blended together magically as it should. At the end of the day, this is Roja Dove’s creation and I believe he has mastered the modern day chypre genre marvelously. The craftsmanship behind Roja perfume is spectacular. Truly an art piece in itself inside and out, top to bottom. It’s extravaganza, it's dazzling, yet timeless, and very sophisticated work of art. First time I wore Roja Risqué, I could close my eyes and saw myself in a 1920’s glamorous gold beaded fringe flapper dress, with bob hair, red lipstick, holding a cigarette in my hand, and ready to take the dance floor. But don’t be mistaken it as an old lady perfume (because there’s no such thing), on a contrary, this is a perfume for a woman ahead of her time like those who changed the face of the world in the 20s. Risqué to me represents a woman who has what it takes, who knows what she wants, who dares to take risks and won’t settle for anything less than everything.

A gorgeous dark floral by Roja, that was created to entice feelings and emotions in its wearer. This fragrance is advertised as a pour femme, however I do think this would easily qualify as a unisex fragrance. The light top sparkles with touch of bergamot, but just for a second, and then a lush middle of rose de mai, peach and chamomile appear. The chamomile note in here is so gorgeous, and the bitter herbalness and mundane sweetness of that note is so unique and creates such a magical mix. The base is filled with oakmoss and labdanum, which makes this even more unisex. Sparkly, sweet at first which turns into something darker and classic. I highly recommend this to fragrance lovers who love a floral with an interesting, dark twist. And the Parfum concentration lasts for so long!

This does NOT have Civet! Not at all...in fact the official notes on Roja parfums site are these: Top Notes: Bergamot Heart Notes: Hyacinth, Rose de Mai, Jasmin de Grasse, Ylang Ylang, Chamomile, Peach Base Notes: Patchouli, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Cedarwood, Labdanum I have not even tried this perfume seeing the head of the civet as the most voted note,and when i finally did,more as a curiosity,was astonished by its beauty,oakmoss and camomille being the most obvious ingredients.This is the chypre of the woman line ,and it is absolutely wearable by a man too,totally unisex fragrance.But Not civet! great made fragrance,love it!

First few seconds were very lipsticky and powdery but after a while it developed into a proper citrus chypre. Can definitely pick up Ylang Ylang. The frag is beautiful. Like someone else said it’s quite modern/fresh/new for a chypre. Reminds me of Yardley’ Chique from the 90s, the old formula. Projects moderately. Lasts all day.

This is the perfect chypre in many ways. First, this is unisex, secondly, it is not overwhelming in its scent but more wispy. This is easily a spring and fall scent and is perfectly balanced in the citrus, moss and animalic aspects. The civet almost adds an ambery aspect to this as well. Such a great scent.

Very alluring. The Civet is very apparent in the opening and becomes more more pronounced in the heart and base. This will be a pleaser to Civet lovers. There is a definite resemblance to Amouage Fate Woman.

Risque, this is a beautiful fragrance. Intoxicating and addictive. In love!
