Semi-Bespoke No. 4

If you are looking at Semi Bespoke 4, chances are you know what you are doing when it comes to Roja. This is far from mainstream. And so I will be comparing this to Britannia, a perfume I find to have a similar DNA. Make no mistake though, SB4 holds its own. This wonderous perfume opens with the same candied citrus as Britannia, but this time it is joined by a juicy blackberry note. I find the chypre/orris base to be almost identical to Britannia, save for the absence of cacao. Perhaps it may be a little more grounded many hours into the wear due to the resins. I personally hate carnation, but I am relieved to say I cannot smell it here, or if I can it is so expertly blended that I can't tell. This is a smooth, slightly fem leaning fruity orris chypre. It is absolutely fantastic and I do not think it redundant to own both this and Britannia. Bonus is, this one is still available. Absolutely divine.

This is an absolute stunner! Fruity, sweet, buttery, powdered florals with some woody chypre faecets in the drydown. Gorgeous beyond belief!

A light like for this powdery unisex fruit bomb. It smells pretty good if not a bit ostentatious. Has a dried fruit essence redeemed by airy hints of fresh blackberry. Overall subtle and mature. Very particular.

This is absolutely breathtaking! Why aren't more people aware of the semi Bespoke Line. No.4 is fresh, fruity, sweet and has a gorgeous violet note with cinnamon whipping through. 100% unisex but smells unbelievable on a woman's skin. I would classify this as a fruity floral amber. There's A buttery orris in the base as well as a prominent Benzoin and labdanum resinous quality that just amplifies the sex appeal of this fragrance. 10/10 guys get this for your ladies and thank me later. You can also steal some sprays when your feeling frisky!

This is primarily a sweet floral consisting of jasmine, violet, and resins with hints of powder from the orris. There’s also a nice raw cinnamon stick note faintly in the background. After the fruity/citrus opening, the heart of the scent sort of reminds me of Iris 39 by Le Labo due to the violet note. It’s unisex but leans feminine. 7.5/10 with good performance, versatile but you must like violet.

This is my favourite from the range. A classy all-rounder accord that oozes sophistication and has enough panache to keep it interesting and cheeky. Doesn’t drift too far in any direction and is able to skirt the line between distinctive and mass-appealing.
