Sweetie Aoud

This was one of those love at first sniff and continued love at every subsequent sniff. *endoprhins* I'm fully infatuated, I would join its cult. (usually, I can easily leave a fragrance counter, and I prefer to wear something for a day before committing. I did. not. want. to. leave. that. counter. at. Selfridges.). The opening is this crazy gorgeous burst of rich smoky sweetness mixed with a little something spiced and wooded and pastried (not photo-realistic to my nose) that just grabs your attention. It's perfectly blended. I almost can't separate notes out; they weren't meant to be separate. *endorphins* You've not smelt anything like it (unless you already know Roja). UGH, I CAN'T DESCRIBE IT. It's impossible, AND I GIVE UP. How do you even put into words God’s Own Perfume? Seriously, there’s so much going on in this scent it’s like not even just a perfume, it’s a whole sensory experience. I remember when I saw the Red Shoes and thought oh they make movies pretty on purpose, and realised cinematography was a thing. This perfume was that experience re fragrance for me. OH SOMEONE LOVED AND MADE THIS. This perfume is literally my all-time fave. It was a gift, and totally responsible for turning me into a perfume addict. Note: If you genuinely want to learn what sillage means, then get this perfume (see also blending). It’s one of the few fragrances I can always experience all day on myself. Like, who just walked by and left that beautiful smell? Oh, it’s ME. *endorphins* Budget Note and Bonus Dua Review Note: I only wear it about three times a year because it’s v pricey and like, I’m not made of money. I do have the DUA version for the days when I want that vibe, but I can’t justify the splurge. Let me tell you, nothing compares to the OG. It's more like a DNA that's nearby and puts cream on the itch but doesn't scratch it. Overenthusiastic Perfume Friend Note: Listen, if the "people who like this fragrance" section 75% matches who you are, just get a decant (or try it in-store). Then say buh-bye to your money because once you try it, you’re hooked! Another Budget Note: I'm considering getting a second job so I can keep this stocked in my cupboard. 11/10 Mental Health Note: Writing this has released a lot of endorphins and now I need a cold flannel and lay down.

OMG!!! The most unique gourmand fragrance I ever smelled. I just finished the whole 2ml sample within few days and I just miss it so much that I have to get a full bottle immediately, which I already did and it should be on its way. I’ve heard many good things about it for a long time and I was willing to blind buy it if I can find a discounted one from reputable sellers because I just love gourmand so much but I just never could find one. I finally got a sample to find out if I really love it and if it worth the high price tag. I ended up gave up on waiting for a discount bottle and just went to get one from their official website because I just love it this much. At the first spray, the strong buttery opening was a little overwhelming but after couple minutes the buttery note would tone down a lot and then it starts to smell very much like French patisserie. Particularly a croissant. It’s not the cloying sugary sweet though, which I appreciate. I love gourmand sweet but I don’t like sugary cloying sweet. The sweetness is just right. Also once the buttery accord tones down, I actually love its perfect amount of the buttery and that compliment the whole vibe of it. Interestingly, I can smells the Oud in the dry down but still maintain the gourmand pastry vibe. Not animalic or barnyard at all. This is surely a masterpiece. Performance wise, it stays closer to my skin but not an intimate skin scent at the same time. I would say it projects about 2 feet from skin until 6-7 hours mark then start fading to a skin scent. It has amazing longevity though. It lasts 12+ on my perfume eating skin. My skin tends not to grip perfumes very well (at least 2 hours less than other people). I know it’s very expensive but I do think it worth the price; the uniqueness of the fragrance, the quality ingredients you can smell from it, the performance and the bottle are all at the top notch. Especially I personally just love this scent.

Unisex I had a difficult relationship with this special unique so called “gourmand” for long time. I loved it from the beginning, that was sure but I needed to get to know her better. I’m just not so big fan of gourmands - I like many and love some a lot but I don’t want to smell myself like many of those. There is just few gourmands which deserves the place in my collection and Sweetie Aoud is one of those. Sweetie Aoud is not so obvious gourmand since the gourmand note is “patisserie accord” which is not any concrete food. That’s why I love it a lot. It’s rather a feeling and a smell which is a whiff of a French or Italian cafe full of delicious pastries made mainly from butter dough. The smell is a littlle bit sweet and soft buttery but the genious blend gives in the same time such a fresh vibes which I find extremely interesting. There is a really herbal fresh opening with Bergamot and Artemisia and quickly after that follows Patisserie Accord which is the strongest during the first 30 minutes. It’s so realistic that you can just close your eyes and you can imagine yourself in front of that glass in patisserie choosing something delicious to eat with your Latte. Rose is only supportive note here and Cistus is barely detectable but those tunes down the sweetness. After this starts the main show! Next the basenotes take over your senses and the buttery note melts beautifully together with spicy, aromatic and earthy notes, Frankincense and Aoud being the prominent ones. Like all Rojas this juice is so well blended that it’s very difficult to separate notes but that makes even the gourmand perfume luxurious, polished and charming. I've owned this for a couple of years and refrained from reviewing it because for a long time, all I could smell was raspberry, really strong oud and some amber. It didn't do anything for me. But now I know the secret--the technique that opens up all the notes like a kaleidoscope. I was always applying it with a strong, concentrated spray to my wrists, but recently I discovered that I need to spray a fine mist from a much greater distance, the way I would apply a body spray from Victoria's Secret. Don't over-apply, and keep the application nice and gauzy. Before my technique, I never got the patisserie vibes that Roja says he created for this perfume. With the softer application, I definitely smell an entire patisserie shop, and I LOVE IT! It reminds me of sinking my teeth into my favorite raspberry, marzipan and custard danish. There is a tart note, I believe artemisia, that makes the jam seem fresh and realistic. I also detect a very discreet hint of chocolate. It's almost as if I am imagining it at times. Likely created with patchouli, as another reviewer mentioned. At times the berry note reminds me of the fresh slices of strawberry atop a slice of strawberry mousse cake. It is preposterous that there is no berry note in the pyramid because it's the most obvious note, aside from oud. It doesn't take long for a very natural, beautifully smoky oud to come in. This fragrance reminds me of Russian Tea by Masque Milano, except it is not as dark in character and is sweeter. The oud smells natural, more similar to natural oud oils I have smelled, not like what you will find in Montales and Tom Fords. Sweetie Aoud makes me think of Alice in Wonderland. It is whimsical, playful and makes me think not only of French and Italian patisseries, but also of tea parties and a rainbow of French macarons. This is such a beautiful and fun fragrance!

Sweetie Aoud is the most mouthwatering fragrance I have over owned. On my skin, it opens with a fresh-out-of-the-oven brioche, generously buttered and slathered with the most delectable blueberry jam. (The blueberry note appears in the fall/winter months, morphing into a sweeter raspberry one in warmer weather.) It is so outrageously delicious that I am literally unable to stop smelling my wrist. At the same time, I remain oddly aware of wearing a perfume. It is such a peculiar, albeit not unpleasant sensation. Sweetie Aoud is undoubtedly a delicious gourmand, but one that plays with your olfactory perceptions while staying true to its niche nature. I’d go as far as to say—it is an experience rather than a scent. The whole composition is seamlessly blended to evoke the tantalizing aromas of a French bakery where beautifully perfumed people pick out their morning pastries. To me, it conveys comfort, freshness and effortless chic that are oh-so-hard-to-resist! As the patisserie accord deepens, I get an infusion of rich, warm-smelling oud that feels slightly powdery and sweet, as if dusted with confectioner’s sugar. The brioche note doesn’t disappear so much as melts into the oud, imparting it that same delicious buttery quality. The scent stays that way for 4 to 6 hours, occasionally teasing me with a whiff of the initial blueberry preserves. Absolutely stunning every step of the way. To my nose, Sweetie Aoud is a unisex fragrance. On my husband I perceive a darker oudy base that has almost amber-like notes but still retains its lovely patisserie accord. Definitely worth a try.

Back with a full review here on Roja Parfums - Sweetie Aoud So if I could bottle happiness, this could be it. It didn’t take long for Sweetie Aoud to become my favorite and I know it might be too soon to say that, this is my signature scent but hey, I’m gonna say that anyway. This is the scent I want people to remember me by beside Kilian Black Phantom. It has this warm and slightly bright quality to it, likes morning sun rays peeking through the curtain, touching softly on your skin, and you just take your first deep breath before slowly opening your eyes for the new day, a fresh start in your own element. The Aoud in here is taking a back seat but yet perfectly done in such a contemporary way allowing other notes to reveal themselves throughout the development. And for a gourmand lover like me, what a dream scent it is yet very unique and super addictive with its French patisserie accord as a composition of Rose de Mai, gurjan balsam, and frankincense. I also picked up some orange-citrusy candies vibe along the way. And then when it reached the base notes, all these beautiful sweet spices come out to play, making Sweetie Aoud to become richer and deeper with cardamom, resins, and woody notes. And at this point, it reminded me of that coffee vibe in Black Phantom, which is so mysterious and intoxicating. It lasts forever on my skin, the development throughout the day is amazing. And it keeps getting better and better every time I wear it. As I said, this, to me, is happiness in a bottle and it makes me feel incredible wearing it, I couldn’t ask for more.

Roja Parfums Sweetie Aoud's name is half misleading, half dead-on accurate. Certainly this is perhaps the sweetest entry of his I've tried to this point, but while oud is a listed note, to include aoud in the name is a bit misleading, as the scent is mainly a candy-sweet-mixed-with-florals-and-woods type of scent, not really an oud scent at all. Artemesia and rose mix with guaiac, cedar, balsam, labdanum, frankincense, and a patisserie accord, which perhaps supplants the candy floss / cotton candy accord that I've seen in other more recent Roja entries. It somehow blends the "candy sweet" and "sweet floral" vibe creamily with the use of resins and woods to allow for a rather refined mix. One needs to be able to appreciate the sweet stuff and appreciate florals to a degree in order to want to wear Sweetie Aoud, I'd say, otherwise it might prove challenging. It certainly doesn't contain my preferred type of sweetness but I would nonetheless argue that it's so beautifully done that it wins me over enough to want to wear it more and often. Performance is excellent, quite loud and long-lasting, but the price is a tough sell at $555 for 50ml. Still, an interesting and enjoyable entry. 8 out of 10

Before i begin, just sample first! When I first tried this fragrance, I'll admit I didn't love it and I also tested this on a strip which is a stupid thing to do for Roja's fragrances as they develop and come off differently on skin compared to paper strips. Wow! The opening of this fragrance is 10/10 gorgeous! straight luxurious arabic patisserie/bakery vibes (so photorealistic), the patisserie/gourmand accord in this is amazingly genius, projection and sillage is above average, longevity is pretty good too! I get around 8-9 hours (I live in Singapore so the climate here is crazy and stops most of my fragrances from performing BUT not sweetie aoud!) Strangely, this fragrance becomes stronger & more projecting as it dries down, it becomes more woody, spicy but more sweet too as it dries. I have never smelt anything like this before, this scent profile is so unique, its crazy. I would summarise this as a woody, spicy, sweet gourmand with touches of fruitiness, florals and a tad leathery/labdunum feel. 10/10 recommended to gourmand & Roja lovers, smell it with an open mind and prepare to have your mind blown as the fragrance develops on your skin. My favourite gourmand OAT.

This review is based on my first impression of Sweetie Aoud after spending a few hours with it on the first day I acquired this perfume. Bonjour! Tu veux un croissant? 🥐 The first 10 minutes of Sweetie Aoud transported me back to a fine morning in Paris when I was walking around Marais trying to find a place to sit and settle with my first coffee of the day together with a croissant or a baguette. I remember this tiny cafe with a simple interior grabbing my attention with their freshly baked pastries smell luring me to go inside. “Un café et un croissant s'il vous plait” I must make my high school french teacher proud by ordering in french. I don’t know how Roja composed this scent that could just precisely giving that French patisserie vibe and it’s not just me, I know many people get that too. This is only second Roja I own so far, but wow, every minute of it, things keep getting better and better, more and more interesting. This is that kind of perfume that keeps me smile every time I raise my hand up to sniff myself. I would come back to do the full review later, just want to give myself sometimes with this and see where else it would take me.

Roja Sweetie Aoud is one of those perfumes that feels like a contradiction done right. It opens with surprisingly edible facets—warm, buttery, almost like delicate pastry crumbs dusted with sugar—immediately reminiscent of Baklava Bliss by Ideo and Chemin d’Amande by Une Nuit Nomade. There’s that same delicate, nutty sweetness and airy gourmand quality, giving off soft pastry-like whiffs without ever becoming heavy or overly rich. As it develops, the composition pivots. The sweetness gently recedes, revealing a more structured heart where the oud begins to emerge—not barnyard or harsh, but polished, slightly leathery, and smooth. The transition is what makes it so compelling; the perfume moves from comforting gourmand tones into something more perfumey, textural, and quietly assertive. In the drydown, the contrast settles into balance. The oud is present but softened by a lingering, subtle sweetness, creating a warm, leathery-ambery aura that feels elegant rather than challenging. It’s not a straightforward gourmand, nor a traditional oud—more like a dialogue between the two. The longevity of this perfume is 12hrs+.

Best gourmand, period. I previously thought Kilian's Black Phantom was the best gourmand, and it is still amazing. However, this just took its first place. It is a comforting, delectable, yet not cloyingly sweet fragrance. You definitely get patisserie notes in here with a base notes of oud, which really balances out the sweetness. In terms of uniqueness, I would say it gets an A+. It's not easy to come across a scent like this from another house, that's for sure. Longevity is above average and sillage is also above average to my nose. On clothes, it lasts a couple days! As a gourmand fragrance enthusiast, I look for fragrances that are sweet and delectable, yet some other aspect that balances out the sweetness. This adds balance to the fragrance and makes it less cloyingly sweet and you are less likely to get tired of it after several wears. Sweetie Aoud is just that! The one negative side of the fragrance is obviously the price. It retails for $560 or so, which is prohibitively high for most people. One tip is to join Facebook groups that trades Rojas. That is how I bought a brand new backup for $360.

Review part 2 /Information/Boring part About Reformulation Ive had the luck to test different batches side by side, and i can say this.the older bottel (frosted) and the new, are exactly the same, the difference Beeing that newer batches still have a tad more alcohol and brighter top notes, the older batches go straight into mid full force w the topp note melded into the pot. This will be the case w the newer batches given time, the small amount off oud is prominent in the opening but is hard to detect when the perfume has macerated, sweet and spicy scents are great for keeping a long time seeing they mature in the right way, i often keep this in mind buying perfumes, iff you know and get into the chemistry and ageing process you can select the right ones, funny thing is it gets tricky w the expensive high quality perfumes cause they go bad much faster thanks to floral/citrus oils But this one is a Safe bet, dont believe the Reformulation information cause its not true The older the juice the sweeter it gets..

Trying to put Sweetie Aoud into words is an incredibly challenging feat, as nothing out there smells even remotely close to it. As soon as you spray it you’re transported to a classy French patisserie in the heart of Paris - hot, buttery pastries and burnt sugar fill the air of this quaint little shop, I picture marbled floors and luxurious leather seats in the background. As it settles on the skin it takes on this very warm and spicy cardamom note, accompanied by a dry and woody oud. An intense concoction of various resins and balsams add to the ‘smoky’ element of the scent, alongside soft florals and a smooth base of labdanum. Usually I’m fairly good at recognising certain notes but for the most part here I’m just trying to ascertain how the notes listed are working together. You genuinely cannot pick out any singular note. Sweetie Aoud is one of the most masterful creations from Roja Dove in my eyes, demonstrating talent and expertise beyond most of us. This truly is the best gourmand I’ve ever smelled.

This is it. This is the fragrance I’ve been searching for. Sweetie Aoud is the best thing I’ve ever put my nose to, and I’m not exaggerating. I’m so in love with this scent, I was blessed enough to get a partial of a 2017 bottle for an amazing price and I don’t regret buying it at all. Sweetie aoud smells like you’ve been teleported into a warm bakery during the holidays. I cannot pick out any specific notes in this. It has a very strong gourmand vibe. I get a strong smoky pastry scent from this which I absolutely love. The performance for me is great. Nothing crazy but I don’t mind it. I think the performance is good for what it is. Also, I am so sad they changed the bottle. I was lucky enough to get an old bottle but soon enough it’s going to be way hard to get the old version. I think the new bottle looks alright, but nowhere as good as the old. Overall, this is the best fragrance I’ve ever tried. Please try this if you have the chance.

One off the best iff not the "the" best Gourmand, im not that into Roja except this gem, The opening is magic, Sweet jammy citrus and two seconds later you will smell the most beautiful note, warm almondy bread surrounded by the jamm, from here on the scent unfolds and you can smell all the different ingridients that creates the sweet pastry Macron, and it transform slowly to a spicy warm dry oriental, the opening is Unisex leaning towards femenin thanks to the sweetness, the middle is Unisex leaning male, and the drydown is more classic male spicy oriented. The stages and transformation is truly magnificent and curated and keept safe this will age like fine wine.. One off the best parfums ever made, no matter iff you like Roja or not... This is the challenger for the gourmand king

Sweetie Aoud has been the one Roja I have always wanted to try and I wasn't let down by just one spray to the wrist. This just bloomed out from one small spray and it instantly filled the space around me. It seemed to evolve and change right in front of my nose. Over the next hour or so, first there was a soft woody aoud, then it was an easy, warm vanilla, then it was a mixture of the two. The smooth, warmth of this fragrance is the real stand out for me, ideal for the autumn and winter months and something that is strong, mature and warming for men or women. This fragrance just oozes maturity and opulence, something a CEO of a company would wear to the opera. Would I buy a full bottle?.......No, but it's something everyone should smell at least once.

The opening reminds me of warm bakery air. Not sugary. More like fresh warm bread coming out of the oven, soft and golden. Then slowly it turns sweeter, like pastry with a bit of jam and almond cream. The oud is there but very quiet. Very clean, smooth, almost transparent. It gives structure without adding funk or heaviness. You feel it more in the depth and warmth than in the smell itself. It keeps the sweetness elegant. To me, this is basically the gourmand version of Roja's Parfum de la Nuit No. 3. Same richness and soft darkness, but without the animalic leather part. More inviting and intimate, something more for a date night. I would put it in the same use category as Tom Ford's Noir Extreme.

The first thing that came to mind when smelling this was a picture from Pinterest of a cigarette box covered in Lisa Frank stickers because I clearly detect a dissipation of tobacco smoke in a clean but very cute home. The oud smells like it was coated with a thick and sweet berry gloss. No pastry notes projected on me, thank God, only faint tendril of cigarette smoke and dark extra glossy semi gourmand notes. It’s peculiar to describe it this way and for it to smell amazing as it does. This may be my favorite Roja Dove fragrance yet. *The Vibe: Courtney Shane from the movie Jawbreaker could have smelled like this... cute, beautiful but also cliquey, elusive, dark and catty.

I absolutely love Roja Sweetie Aoud!!! I tried it at the Somerset Mall, in Troy, Michigan, last summer and bought a bottle. I fell in love the second I got my nose on it the first time. The sweet, smile inducing top notes dry down to a rich oud that I just love. I'm getting married in two weeks, and I'm thinking about layering Sweetie Aoud and Perseus and Pacific Chill, for the outdoor ceremony, and then Myriad and Ombre Nomade and maybe Nomad for the indoor reception. Sweetie aoud was the first real luxury perfume i got my nose on. I loved it, but never got around to purchasing it. Until i was in a patisserie in Pairs, and the beautiful aroma seemed familiar to my nose, it was the smell of sweetie aoud. I got home and purchased a bottle. On skin, it opens sweet and i get a almost berry like scent. As is develops, you get a butters pastry scent that is high in quality. Once all dried a light, slightly smokey aoud accord seeps through to give this perfect scent a strong base. This is stunning, and my 2021 batch performs very well on me, 8 hours of performance projecting for 4. Well done Roja.

I just took my first vacation and visited Neiman Marcus, and got to try a ton of awesome fragrances, like this one; Roja Sweetie Aoud. I fell in love with it right after I first got my nose on it. I love sweet and fruity oud fragrances, like Bond No 9 Nomad or Xerjoff Alexandria II or Sweetie Aoud. I already really liked PDM Haltane too. I ended up buying a 50 ml bottle of Sweetie Aoud, and I have been loving it since then, about a week ago. I just used it this morning, and I can still smell it at my desk at work. It's awesome. From the sweet opening to the oud dry down; I love it.

this is a fantastic fragrance to use when you want to transport yourself to a patisserie. the fluffiness, creaminess and the fragrant aroma of sweet desserts perfectly captured in a bottle as liquid form. forget italica, or whatever other gourmands are listed as the best in the game, because this thing just beats all of them. nothing else will come close to smelling quite like this. it just makes me smile whenever i smell this delicious concoction. i would say it is perfect especially now, for the quarantine. though its just my opinion, right? 10 cannolis / 10 cannolis

I finally have for myself after 3 years of contemplating purchasing it because the price. It's a dream come true for me! I was able to purchase it on Ebay for $330 which beats $500+bucks. It smells so intoxication full of yummy goodness. It's like a fresh baked red velvet cake you can't eat. It's a magnificently blended floral oriental gourmand oud. I find it to be very feminine and provocative. It's definitely and flirty fragrance that I can't wait to wear out on a night at the bar. It is long lasting on the skin and it remains in fabric for a couple days.

I like this fragrance a lot. The oud here is very prominent, so despite of it being sweet, one must enjoy oud in order to enjoy this. The type of oud here is what some may refer to as “barnyard” or “funky” oud. So this may be the reason why some people do not like this. I happen to like this type of oud (I am a fan of Amouage King Blue). Sweetie Aoud is not a safe blind buy, but a must try for those who appreciate oud. To me a unisex that might lean feminine due to sweetness. Best for cooler weather, but I think it may work in wormer weather as well.

I Need to correct my review down below, this is an updated 2.0 version. This is one of the best gourmand fragrances out there, sadly the price tag is simply crazy! But for that juice? That smell? It might be worth it! This is the most delicious Bakery/Croissant/Patisserie fragrance in a bottle! I dont know how Roja managed with that pyramid to create such an accord and heavenly aroma! BUT he did! This might be it for me, i mean the holy grail gourmand, its funny how fragrances can grow on you. 11/10. Simply Delicious! Outstanding craftmanship

Sweetie Aoud opens with a very Medicinal Opoponax note. Imagine a bakery, & you can smell every dessert baking all at once, but above all else you can just make out the smell of Raspberry Danishes with vanilla icing. And they're being lightly smoked over Wood thats been soaked in Crude Oil & slathered with Vicks Vapor Rub. This is going to sound odd, but at times it almost reminds me of a Gourmand take on Interlude Man. Sweetie Aoud dries down to a Medicinally, mildly Sweet, Fruit-like, Earthy fragrance that smells extremely Middle Eastern.

Pain au chocolat warm from the oven, oozing dark chocolate through the tender layers of pastry. Followed by spicy rose shortbread, crumbling and melting in the mouth. There’s a baguette still baking in the patisserie, and you don’t know if you’ll have enough room to eat that too, but you’re going to try! Utterly scrumptious fragrance, a sophisticated gourmand dream. I love to bake, and used to live in Paris, so it’s a win for me. Is it worth the price? I’m not sure, but it’s cheaper than a trip to a Paris patisserie...

Faint memories about this one, but all I know is that if this didn't cost the price of one of my kidneys I would have it by now. Genuinely takes you to a pastry shop in central Paris. It is a gourmand lovers dream, and rightfully so. It smells so warm and inviting yet not overly sweet and overpowering like a lot of these scents. You'll radiate warmth, not much more to say about it. Definitely will resample and imagine that I own a bottle of it, because I probably won't any time soon.

Moody-sweet. Smoky. Sensual. Intoxicating. Invokes a pleasant memory of a late night out w/ new friends at a restaurant in Yazd. All the exotic culinary scents were present, but the most persistent was that of Qottab pastries wafting in from an adjoining bakery. I followed the scent, purchased one & ate it right there in the street. If I had been wearing Sweetie Aoud that night while eating that delectable pastry, I would have died & gone to heaven, intoxicated & satiated. Amen.

IMO, best fragrance I have ever smell yet, tied with PDLN 2 actually. The fragrance smell complex yet very likeable. Mostly get a patisserie vibe in the top notes and the oud slowly creeping in throughout the life of the fragrance. It is very hard to elaborate how it smells based on the noted listed so it is a must try in order to decide you like it or not. DO NOT BLIND BUY. Entering A French Patisserie while Chewing a Mint Gum Is the exact thoughts i have while smelling this! It has a minty toothpaste vibe with a doughy patisserie accord on the front! I Mean yeah its Aight! The Price? I wont even comment on that! Its Unique im tellin ya! But this is not the best Gourmand i personally have smelt! Nor im going to buy it on spot upon initial smell! Which lookin on that Salty pricetag i was expecting somethin Groundbreaking! A Solid 7.5!

The aoud it's really there, but it's not a skanky one..no no no. I usually do not like aoud, but this one it's smooth, very very well blended. I get the patisserie accord, but I also get some red fruits jam/candies. It's not that type of gourmand that suffocates you, not overly sweet or cloying. I can truly see myself wearing this in warm weather, but have in mind that I also love Italica from Casamorati, so very sweet gourmands are a big yes for me.

I have come to truly admire Roja Dove’s creative genius. I think my nose had to adjust, from ambroxan and synthetic designer fragrances, although beautiful, to the complex olfactory incredible experience of a Dove’s creation. So many are masterpieces. Including Sweetie Aoud. Gorgeous. Perfectly blended! Stunning. The criticisms of his prices are valid. I get it. Don’t be angry or embarrassed. Buy a dupe. Enjoy the splendor. He’s a Master!

This is perplexing to me. I absolutely love this scent, as it is very unique IMO. However, it's not something that I would wear. I'd much rather smell this as a candle warmer to fill the room for an occasion or aromatherapy - but again, not actually on me. To each their own. Like most say here, a french pastry shop galore. Scent: 9.5 Projection: 8 Longevity: 7 Value: 5 as the price is not in alignment with expectations

As a gourmand lover, this is next level perfumery. The famous patisserie accord is masterful. How he managed to create this accord without adding any sweet or gourmand notes is absolutely genius. It literally smells of oud, pastries and some red berries on the side. I’m lost for words at how beautiful this is. Definitely pick up some Black Phantom vibes, but a vibe is all this is. Incomparable.

The first time I tried it thought this would end up in my collection one day. At first you get a sweet freshly baked cake (pure gourmand) clean, enjoyable and balanced. At the dry down the profile changes completely. It becomes a mature, very beautiful scent, elegant and classy. The real surprise is the dry down. If you have the opportunity to try it, don't miss it! Just got mine. A 10/10

Another Roja masterpiece. Very sweet, delicious, mouth watering fragrance. Gourmand lovers dream! Like with all roja very high quality ingredients went into this. It smells classy, elegant, and addictive. This is my favorite gourmand. I was able to pick it up for ~$400 USD was definitely worth it to me. A 10/10 fragrance! Another similar scent imo is xo brandy by nauvitus parfums.

Wearing this right now and I seriously cannot begin to explain what a masterpiece this is. The fact that Roja could bottle a photorealistic pastry accord is just mind blowing. This reminds me of when I used to work at Panera Bread and when I would bring out the fresh baked bread. It’s so good. It’s on another level. I seriously cannot give this more praise than it already has.

Very deep and rich gourmand scent. The fragrances evolves very nicely and the gourmand accord is the main star through out the whole scent. Smells like a luxourios french pastry. The gourmand accord is beautifuly accompanied by the smooth woods and resins. The scent is blended perfectly and in my words a master piece among many others from my favourite perfumer Roja Dove.

The Oud here is so inoffensive that it makes everything else shine, especially the cardamom. It’s very syrupy, warm, cozy, spicy, and has this buttery quality to it. I used to work at Panera and this really reminds me of when I would take out the freshly baked pastries, especially the blueberry muffins and croissants, out of the oven. A gourmand masterpiece.

First of all I have to say this is some excellent juice. I’m not typically a gourmand guy but this is changing that for me. Like a lot of the other say it smells like a bakery. And to me, it smells like every fruity and buttery pastry is being baked at once. I’ve noticed the girls I work with really take notice quickly when I wear this one. 9.5/10

Definitely a masterpiece. It really is a sweet bomb and a little Smoked.Although the brand has to admit that it makes good and bad perfumes, good perfumes like this one. They are not suitable for novices since it is a combination that you must use at certain points of the day and seasons. My recommendation is to get a tester before buying

A successful experiment of balancing the sharpness of oud with a gourmand accord without letting either steal the show. And yes, it takes quite a cocktail of balsams and spices to make that unlikely marriage work. To me, this is a master class in formulation: bold, beautifully balanced, and absolutely deserving of appreciation.

Despite the hideous name, this is actually a fantastic fragrance and most certainly a unique deployment of oud. The oud here is quite strong and easily detectible in the opening, but it soon settles down behind the refined sweetness of the best patisserie accord I have ever smelled. Gorgeous stuff. Suitable for cold weather.

This stuffs so good very authentic smelling for what its going for, a fresh patisserie and roja DNA all in it, I love his dna, Very long lasting, it still hasn't let me down, perfectly unisex in my opinion, id love to smell this on women.

This is what rich people smells like. This is what walking into a prince’s house smells like. Definitely not for the faint of hearted crowd but it’s absolutely incredible. It’s going to be my scent for my sister’s wedding.

So I won't do a full review, but I am really surprised at how similar it smells to Kilian's Black Phantom. It's not exactly like it really, but there is an effect that is the same. Sweetie though is brighter.

I have a decant of this and smells like walking into a bakery with raspberry cookies being baked when they are fresh out of the oven, the smokey trail that follows. Sweet and smokey gourmand.. love it 😍

only thing stopping me from wearing this every day is i’m a guy and people will definitely ask me what i’m wearing. (no, i’m not secure enough in my manhood to tell people i’m wearing “sweetie” aoud!)

Okay so first most, they changed the formula from the old one. The old formula was amazing and probably the best gourmand ever. The new batch is not the same to be honest but it still is amazing.
