Between the bottle and the scent, I am speechless. I was super lucky to buy this in store last week with only a handful remaining. I’ve been wearing this the past couple days so I won’t speak extensively on the performance. However, I can say from first impressions, this will last 10+ hours on skin. Opening: Now, let’s delve into the captivating scent of this fragrance. A burst of freshness emanates from tart lemon and grapefruit notes, complemented by a subtle spice of black pepper. This bold introduction sets the stage for an exceptional scent experience. For comparison, the black pepper evokes the experience in Elysium Eau Intense, characterized by its intense, super-fresh, and addictive qualities. The harmonious composition of lemon and grapefruit ensures that neither becomes bitter, sharp, or overpowering. Instead, their tart and sweet facets balance the black pepper, creating a smooth and refined opening. To be honest, this opening stands out as one of the best from the house. Heart: Given that black pepper is my favorite note in perfumery, I am somewhat disappointed that it does not linger on my skin for an extended period. However, the tart lemon persists. Adding some complexity to this scent, fig and black currant briefly dominate the composition. These two notes complement each other well. They are exceptionally juicy and fruity in this blend, contributing a touch of sweetness to the refreshing and invigorating opening. Similar to many of Roja’s offerings, this fragrance undergoes a transition, revealing a complex identity that alternates between the refreshing and deep aspects. A herbal and slightly metallic tea note emerges, accompanied by soft violet and rose, evoking a powdery ambiance while still enhancing the refreshing qualities of the initial stages. Base: At this point, the narrative takes an intriguing turn. The base exhibits a striking contrast to the opening. Warm spices of nutmeg and vanilla emerge, continuing the powdery trend and enhancing the sweetness. Hear me out. At this point, the scent of Lost in Paris is reminiscent of the base. If you have had the pleasure of smelling Lost in Paris, you will recall its captivating combination of sweetness, warmth, and spice. The addition of refreshing qualities from the lemon, fig, and blackcurrant further transforms this base, opening the door to Tea at Bergdorfs. I am curious to know if anyone who has the opportunity to try this can discern the same comparison. Overall: Another exceptional olfactory experience by @rojaparfums. The intricate blend, profound complexity, and captivating journey this fragrance embarks upon are truly remarkable. Being unselfish, I hope that more individuals have the opportunity to try this exclusive creation. The decision to release this fragrance as a limited edition naturally raises expectations, which were met and exceeded, demonstrating the exceptional quality an exclusive scent should have. Last fragrance done by the man himself, Roja Dove, so of course, it's going to be ridiculously expensive. Juicy grapefruit and lemon open the fragrance with a hint of pepper; the grapefruit slowly shifts into this lovely scent that's now backed by juicy blackcurrant and fig. after around 3 hours its almost a completely different scent, its now a subtle tea with violet and the smallest hint of rose with an almost gourmand feeling? very strange but overall really nice.

I was supposed to receive 2 High Tea's that I purchased through Bergdoff Goodman. I made the purchase on 11-22. Somehow it was lost twice by FedEx. Most the people here haven’t tried it and never will, after all it’s a 1/100 exclusive you can only buy at bergdorf goodman. It is truly incredible in terms of scent. Got sneak peeks months back and have been looking forward to picking this one up since then. Moderate performance but INCREDIBLE scent

Love at first sniff. Fresh, a bit spicy, typical Roja DNA like Enigma and Elysium. Get your hands on the DUA, which is very close!

Tea at BG is Roja’s final creation before his departure as the credited perfumer of Roja Parfums - of course it is a horrifically overpriced publicity stunt limited to just 130 bottles. Tea is a note Roja has not tackled before, and I admit he seems to have accomplished well, however I do not find myself thinking this smells like a thousand dollar scent. Ripe, juicy figs and dewy blackcurrant are actually at the forefront of this scent, sweet and refreshing in their partnership with citrus fruits and a whisper of basil. The tea is dry and slightly earthy, with soft grassy facets amplified by hay, alongside a pronounced peppery kick. The scent is significantly dry, but thankfully the fruits balance this rather beautifully. I enjoy this scent, it’s pleasant, but it doesn’t feel like a Roja creation - it lacks the signature flair and characteristic ‘sparkle’ of his better offerings. Who knows if he really is the perfumer behind this, or if he ever was for anything, but this perfume certainly signifies a change in the wind for the house; one I do not find comforting or reassuring.

For anyone worried about missing out on this, I wanted to let you know that I’ve been in touch with my friends over at The Dua Brand, and they’re already working on a replica of this scent. It won’t be completely identical, of course—mostly due to a difference in oil concentration—but it will be available to all: not limited edition, and between $30USD-to-$60USD. They said it would take them a few months to get it just right, but if you can be patient, it’s coming!

Will anyone here be willing to sell a decant of this beauty? I'm in europe and i don't have the budget to buy the fragrance but i would love to smell it :) I'm in the EU
