Ti Amo

This is such an amazing fragrance. I committed a cardinal sin in blind buying it at 30% off this February (pre Valentines day sale or discontinuing?) because I couldn't get a sample anywhere. The reviews were great but few and far between on YouTube. But I liked the note breakdown and have 12 other Rojas so thought I would give it a go. The combo of orange, cocoa and Iris made me think of Kilian Noir Aphrodisiaque, which I have a love, but it is nothing like this. I also thought it could be like Xerjoff Via Cavour, but nothing like it. If anything it resembles Love Don't be Shy but nowhere near as sweet with a cocoa accord and stronger Iris replacing the marshmallow and sugar in Love. On paper I was a bit disappointed because it seems too bright and floral with no cocoa, but on skin it was totally different, and instant love, love, love. I am a guy and have a niche collection of about 80 perfumes with about 5 being feminine-leaning unisex, that only other Roja in this category being Turandot, which is mind blowing. This is feminine leaning but not by a lot so a guy can easily pull it off. It opens with citruses and some waxy florals with a slight peach note, although pineapple is listed and not peach. I eat pineapple daily and make tea out of it, but couldn't get anything but a sort of orange peachiness coated in citrus and florals. The cacao comes in with Oris and patchouli to ground the proceedings and thereafter it is pure magic. People are slating this as fall winter but I plan to use it in the cooler weather in spring and summer, especially the nights. It doesn't have the sweet amber and woods for the winter, but also not good for the test days. It is bright and flirtatious, classy, elegant, classic, but also seductive and semi-gourmand without being sweet or sticky. A real win and at 30% off it is a no brainer, even for men who love exotic sexy florals.

I’ve never encountered a scent that so perfectly envisions love and romance like this one does. Ti Amo (I Love You) will whisk you away on a sumptuous and gentle daydream. This scent opens with an enveloping array of powdery, vintage smelling florals from a bygone era, mainly including - heliotrope, ylang, lily of the valley, rose and jasmine. This is contrasted by a subtle hint of juicy and refreshing pineapple, and touches of citrus. Before long, the floral medley becomes sweeter as the scent progresses. Sweet and dreamy notes of vanilla and tonka make way for an earthy yet incredibly creamy cacao. This chocolatey delight is then made even more smooth and buttery with a strong dose of orris. There are hints of warm spices in the background, and this scent is structured as a Chypre, but it feels like it’s in its own unique genre. This stunning perfume fuses two different worlds of vintage floral with gourmand and the end result is just breathtaking. I adore this fragrance, it’s one of my go to scents for date night.

greeted with a light mandarin, tiny bit of pineapple, florals & cacao! the florals in this are blended so well and it's so difficult to pick out an individual note, so warm & comforting. but the base is where 'ti amo' really shines, i mainly get cacao, orris, vanilla, labdunum, ginger, cinammon, cumin with abit of sandalwood, patchouli & saffron. this fragrance is just really comforting like a warm hug with a hint of sexiness. i would summarise 'ti amo' as a spicy, powdery, floral, woody vanillic fragrance with touches of sweetness and aromatics. best worn during spring/fall & works during cool summer days/nights too, not heavy/dark enough to wear in winter. definitely unisex and strong performance so go light on the sprays if you want to but avoid spraying around your neck as the spiciness tends to "punch" your nose haha. 10/10

Ti Amo is such a lovely fragrance: smooth, lightly sweet with a sprinkle of powder. As a lover of orange blossom notes, I can detect a creamy and sweet orange blossom throughout the life of the fragrance. The vanilla and cacao add a cozy warmth, just like a long-awaited hug from your lover. If Ti Amo were a person, it would be a kind-hearted one, with a warm smile and encouraging words anytime you need them.

Classy af the Lilac Love comparison isn’t really there to me at all smells closer to Love Delight without the rum. This is so beautifully blended together I mostly get a slightly bitter powdery cocoa with warm and sweet facets to it very creamy and gourmand, and close to my skin there’s a smooth bed of spices that makes this stuff special, don’t think it’s a must have for me but I appreciate having some

This is such a unique fragrance. It's unlike any other. I LOVE Ti Amo by Roja Parfums. It's another masterpiece from the master perfumer himself; Mr. Roja Dove. You must try this divine fragrance. I wouldn't recommend blind buying only because of how unique it is. I give this a 9/10.

Very well blended and hard to pick out individual notes. Smells like something else completely new that I’ve never smelled. I can best describe it as clean powdery vanilla. Makes me feel clean as if I had just come out of the shower. Not sexy really, just clean and comforting.

I decluttered this fragrance a while ago, and I truly regret letting it go. If anyone happens to be selling a bottle, please let me know, I’d love to have it back in my collection.

Sexiest grown fragrance I've smelt!

A very very complex blend from tons of different notes resulting into a unique semi gourmand fragrance that manage to give a feeling of romance and love with its fresh vs warm and floral vs gourmand combo. To understand it better I summarize it as a fusion between two other ROJA creations (Britannia and Nüwa). It may sounds un-innovative but trust me blending notes or the simplest task such as combining fragrances requires a highly sensitive olfactive ability to make it work. What makes Ti Amo different from the two is the presence of animalic and indolic jasmine. For me as fragrance collector who always combine fragrances, the added jasmine probably will not justify a full bottle. I'm satisfied with owning Britannia and Nüwa because by combining them as a cocktail I can achieve the similar profile. But for people who wants a ready to go fragrance perhaps owning this is a better choice. Thanks for reading and I hope you can gain a new perspective here. Have a lovely day 💙🤍

I have been desperately trying to sample Ti Amo for the longest time! A friend very kindly gifted me a sample from his own treasured bottle, and I have to say I really like this! I don’t get the comparison to Lilac Love personally. I don’t find them similar at all. To me Ti Amo warm, spicy, very sexy and totally unisex. I can pick out so many of the notes - cocoa, cinnamon, orris, patchouli, vetiver, vanilla, orange blossom and ginger. It’s giving romantic evening, wrapped up by the fireplace with the one you love. I’d wear this and would love this on my man. This is one for the wish list if I manage to come across it.

oh wow. romantic and immaculately blended. only reason i don't particularly want this is because i don't prefer dry, spicy perfumes which this very much is. wore on valentines day hehe

cacao powder, ylang ylang, and orris is what i mainly get here. its cute. 8/10

This somehow highly reminds me of a sweet less edgy version of Chanel la pausa. I don’t get any of the sweet cocoa butteriness. This sadly lands in moving out shelf. Ok. I have to admit after trying and trying. I started loving it. The buttery sweetness really peaks through in colder months on warm body temp. I really appreciate its beauty now. The longevity is insane.

I blind bought this and decluttered it a week later. It's a well crafted scent with a lot of depth but something in this does not feel modern to me and the pink pepper is way too strong. It's not suitable for people under 35. If you're expecting a sweet gourmand scent from the notes breakdown you will be disappointed. 7/10

Own a bottle of this and unfortunately does not feel that special to me. It starts off with a very strong Lilly of the valley, Orange blossom, Pink pepper, Ylang Ylang and Rose del Mai, sweetened with some pineapple. The opening is very pungent fruity, warm spicy, powdery and sweet. You definitely smell the cacao in all those fruity notes at the beginning of the show as well. After half an hour all the fruity notes war calm down and you start smelling the ambergris, cacao, Labdanum, Orris and Vanilla. The Labdanum creates that semi leathery vibe about this fragrance with A soft, sensual base of Vanilla, Cocoa, and Tonka Bean mingle Musk, warmed by Patchouli, Vetiver, Guaiacwood and Sandalwood. To make it easy for you the dry down smells straight up like a pungent "Bubble Gum". I have to say this is a pass for me.

Ti Amo means I love you...so Roja tried to create a special romantic blend and I think he succeeded. Starts with a creamy balsamic opening dominated mainly by Ylang Ylang ( it gives it creaminess with slight fruity undertones ) mixed with orange blossoms ( which gives it a light freshness )...this opening continues for an hour & slowly changes.... In the heart I feel the Chocolate vibe mixed with woody nuances ( Sandalwood gives it warm & intimate feeling ) and melted with creamy Vanilla...sometimes I feel leathery vibe at the background... It continues to change slowly & softly...It is elegant & classy... I was very curious for Ti Amo and decided to order a sample. I just got it, so this review is just a first impression! The first whiff I got right after taking off the cap (before even spraying) made me think of an old woman's frag. Very flowery. Not too good, since I am a man! I sprayed it on my wrist and behold, besides the typical full Roja Dove aroma, there is one note that stands out: orange blossom! I don't know how chocolate gets the first place in the notes-table, because this is all about orange blossom, with a bit of neroli. The supporting notes are from the orris root indeed, but the chocolat, heliotrope and ylangylang are almost non existant to my nose. Ti Amo and I have just met for 30 minutes, but my first impression is that it is a very soft amd lush orange blossom scent. Not too sure yet if it will only suit an older lady or that it is truly unisex (or even masculine). Will report later! BTW I also have a sample of Britannia. Britannia (also a women's fragrance) is more full and warmer than Ti Amo.

absolute masterpiece. leans gourmand in my opinion, but not necessarily food-like. its the creamiest floral cocoa ever. the opening is really fruity too, but once those fruits fade it stays quite linear actually. im not usually a fan of floral fragrances, but this is so good, like SO good. im having a hard time describing this, but its breathtaking. in my opinion its unisex, performance wise its obviously really good too. i wish this wasnt as expensive (or discontinued)... luckily I got my hands on a 7.5ml and im afraid that will be empty soon enough. its so soothing, it makes me feel like a little boy being calmed by my mother again. this is 100% one of my favorite fragrances of all time. 10/10 very messy review but honestly I cannot even word how good I think this is.

I just received a sample of Ti amo from a trusted source, and all I get on my skin is a strong resemblance to lavender. It is very herbal and it's hard to get past that herbal quality, I don't get the comments about gourmand.. I can't detect cocoa but it does get creamy after a while.. but the herbaceous quality remains. I do not see lavender anywhere listed in the notes, does anyone have a clue which note can bring this effect? I will let it sit of course, but trying it on a few days now, I cannot see the connection to the comments. I love Turandot and it blew my socks off so bad thay I had to try other things from Roja, but this one is a hard pass.

Lets call out the elephant in the room immediately: some of rojas scents are massively overpriced (looked at you nuwa, lost in Paris, nuit de ... , etc etc). But smelling this again after over a year (don’t ask, got lost in the back of my cupboard), no one can dispute that this is great quality. And letting it “ripen” (macerate, whatever the word) has only made it better. In the opening tia amo reminded me of my beloved long discontinued iris ganache. It has a strong iris/oris note. So beautiful. That likeness does subside in the dry down, but this is beautiful in and of itself. I’m so happy I found this one again ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Agree with a fragrantican below: this one did not feel special to me either. I gave it away as a present, because presentation is stunning. Strange thing with RD perfumes , they are so perfectly and smoothly blended that there is little what’s standing out. Apart from X for women, I can hardly say that there is a perfume from RJ which I would crave. His scents are nice but, like jn beauty - when it’s too perfect it gets boring, well IMHO. Btw , I have the same story with perfume 51 for her, and Lilli extrait. Nice to have these in the collection but not in the front rows to be picked for a memorable evening . Strange

I struggle to identify a note, beyond the obvious, on a fragrance with 3 or 4 notes. This thing is a smorgasbord and I have no idea what the heck I'm picking up. What I do know is that this is one hell of a fragrance that lasts 12+ hours. I guess the best I can do is a mild leather with the cinnamon ducking in and out, the cumin ever so slight in the background. Roja might be expensive, some may call it pretentious ( at times I know I have) but the reality is that everything I've tried by Roja is high quality.

Love at first sniff. One of the most beautiful perfumes I have ever smelled. I was nervous it would be spicy due to the cumin, carrot seeds and other spicy notes in this fragrance but it leans so clean and classy on my skin. Creamy but I still smell the orange and florals, the cacao is delicious and creamy. It smells like a floral gourmand and it’s gorgeous. Smells so expensive, regal, you can smell the quality. Would make an amazing wedding perfume for sure. Performance is amazing also.

The cacao isn't the dominant note, it begins with dominant cacao side by side with patchouli, ylang, and heliotrope then settles for something completely different! something like a manufactory's nylon boxes with bits of orange blossoms, ylang, slight vanilla, heliotrope, pineapple, cheese, ginger, & carrot seeds. The base note is wierd, it remains the same as the manufatory nylon with more carrot seeds, and cheese notes. It's nice but it really doesn't worth it price tag.

Call me crazy but this smells like cocoa butter the raw unrefined type, but the scent is toned down. It’s definitely well blended Bit the cacao is very perceptible to my nose. I see why many reviews call this vintage I like it but I don’t see myself wearing this on own. I will most likely wear it with something sweet and fruity.

Opens with a strong cacao powder on the opening. No sweetness. This calms down after a few minutes and the powder balances it a lot more. For me this is quite understated and calming, so the love it refers to is the romantic type. I think it transitions nicely during the day and is both unisex and versatile.

Something similar with L'Heure Bleue by Guerlain, from top to middle notes. When it reaches the base notes, it starts to be different. It's sweet and cocoa. This late stage is what i like most. It becomes a very nice scent and the best from the trio.

Scent - cacao with a smudge of heliotrope. Season/Time of Day - I prefer to use this one in the colder months, day or night. Projection - I didn't get noticed, I didn't get a compliment. Longevity - I get 24hrs consistently.

Sadly on my skin, it's pure cumin, nothing else:((( Happens with every single fragrance with a cumin note in it, no matter if head, heart or base notes.

Ti Amo blew me away with the first try. It gave me one of my most favorite fragrance experiences. I was really happy all the way home!

A syrupy, slightly more animalic sister to Amouage Lilac Love. Very feminine, heavy, powdery, romantic.
