Fresh soap like scent, I love lily of the valley scent in the middle note. Recommended cheap fragrance if you are into soothing white floral fragrance

Tried this at my local pharmacy and it smells almost the same as my Versace Pour Homme at a fifth of the price! The only difference is the opening where Romano is more citrusy. I didn't buy it though since I already have Alpine Homme Sport

Bought a pocket spray of Romano Prestige out of curiosity just to study the structure of 'off-counter male budget perfumes'. Could have gone with Romano or Dashing but I picked this one randomly. I tried my best to make sure the low price tag didn’t cloud my judgement while sniffing the perfume. 1. The opening notes are strong, blasting off unapologetically to my nose. The bergamot, along with what I presume to be that addictive metallic scent are aldehydes, are the main stars here. It's fizzy and bright with citrus with a subtle of sweet pineapple at the back gives instant gratification to the nose. Too bad it fades too soon. Gone like a wind in an instant, even faster on skin. 2. It then transitions rather awkwardly into middle notes, turning into soapy, aromatic herbal vibe. Thanks to the sage and violet notes. It's not bad per se, but the transition feels unpolished and there's a noticeable gap in strength between the two stages. 3. The base note is the weakest and honestly the most unlikeable phase for me. Thanks to Calone. It transforms into a watery, almost plasticky, synthetic, syrupy-woody mess. The fact that this note appears so quickly and dominate the scent for the rest of the wear time doesn't help either. As a conclusion I was surprised to find that Romano Prestige actually has proper transitional phases. But I guess something's got to give when the price is that low and they clearly had to cut corners somewhere. Despite being an EDP, the projection is super weak almost at intimate level with faint sillage and weak longevity. Understandable choice if you don't care about perfume in general and just want to smell good in everyday wear without breaking the bank but if you do care for better performance, consider spending 2 or 3 times the price of full bottle of Romano Prestige to get something better. Imagine Aqua Di Gio mixed with some Chanel Allure Homme Sport. This is it. Worth the price as well.
