I Tried & Then Bought The Two Stunning 100ml Edp Bottles I Still Proudly 0wn While Visiting Positano & Later Having A Meal There!! Gosh The Memories This Perfume Causes!! Anyway After Spraying This 0n Myself Heading To The Restaurant We Where Eating At,As In The Rush 0ut 0f 0ur Hotel I Forgot To Put My Perfume 0n!! & Passing A Little Tucked Away Street Perfumery I Saw This Strange Bottle & Liberally Sprayed Myself With It!! Not 0nly The Waiter,My Husband,& Two Couples Sitting Behind Us All Complimented Me 0n The Perfume I Was Wearing, I Had To Buy It!! Luckily That Little Perfumery Was Still Open & I Was Able To Buy Two 100ml Bottles 0f This Stunning Perfume & Got A Free Chanel Lipstick For Doing So Which I Actually Also Still Have!! 0n My Return Back Home I Wore & Used 0ne Complete 100ml Bottle 0f This Gorgeous Perfume That NEVER Let Me Down 0nce,Always Causing A Sea 0f Compliments From Family/Friends & Complete Strangers!! & Although I Have Tried To Buy/Purchase Another Bottle 0r Two I Have Never Been Successful!! So I'm Thinking That This Stunning Perfume Has Now Simply Been Discontinued Which Is An Absolute Shame As It's S0oooooooo Beautiful!! I Have Around A Half A Bottle Left & Really 0nly Use This For Extra Special Occasions!! & My Advice To Anyone Who Own's A Bottle 0f This Guard It With Your Life & Deffo Hold 0nto The Stunning/Unusual Bottle!! Italy Is 0utstandingly Beautiful & Deffo Does Make Some Really Unique Perfumes!!

pine, frangipani, orange flower, sandalwood, cedar, very sweet and a bit herbal/aromatic, too, almost resinous in a way, unique and not like anything else out there, smells very unisex and niche; soft and close to the skin; the pine tones down after the opening; wearing in summer it has a pimento pepper vibe to it, definitely pepper but not the sneezy kind

25. april 2012 So finally i am wearing this one today on a warm spring day. It starts out as a peppery-violet note, somehow it reminded me of a YSL "NU" EDT in the opening. A very tuned down "NU". I was sure before checking the notes that there is a pepper inside it, but as i see it has no pepper in it surpisingly. Not impressed at first as it seems to be too bland. But after an 20min or so a new note surprisingly appears: orange. And a very nice orange. Now it smells so nice and refreshing. But calming at the same time. This orange note gives this "cold" fragrance a bit of sunshine. Cedar and pine are really nice, i like those notes in general lately. Jasmine adds a nice accent as well. I don ́t know how frangipani smells like so i am not sure about this note. The drydown is all about orange and jasmine. In general: really nice for spring-summer but would recommend it to wear in a warmer season, that ́s when it "blossoms" at it ́s best. It is delacate indeed but a bit too shy for me since i prefer something more louder. It has no great sillage, just enough for you to smell it for cople of hours, then it stays close to your skin. Still can smell it after 6 hours, but close to skin. After wearing it several times i must say that this is more of a peppery-soapy fragrance. I can ́t get rid of a pepper note here. This is general impression i get from this fragrance. UPDATE: i have smelled a very similar fragrance to it and it is "Diabolique" by Eisenberg! Very very close to each other, just the price is miles away. :)

This is so darn gorgeous and is a truly, truly underrated gem, which was a blind buy for me. It sat in my Ebay basket for months until this week when I decided to throw caution to the wind and pull the trigger on it. Di Romeo Gigli is a spicy, sweet, aromatic and woody creation. It is also resinous and natural smelling, all at the same, in a way I can't quite explain and I love it. It starts off quite big but settles down quite quickly. With the: cassis, orange blossom and frangipani supporting the structure, as does the: pine, amber and cedar, which lend to the spice notes underneath everything. And at its heart, the: jasmine, iris and honeysuckle shine through with the Iris giving a subtle grown up powdery finish. It mainly stays that way and my only regret is that its not a huge performer in terms of projection, which is a crying shame, as I'd never tire of this. It's simply quite beautiful and unique. Bravo!
