Blomma Cult

I love this scent, but I can see why it’s not for everyone. Blomma Cult starts as an explosion of purple flowers, specifically lilacs and maybe a little bit of violet, before transforming into something a little powdery, musky, lipsticky. As it blooms on my skin, the cinnamon and vanilla show up and mix with the powdery purple flowers to create a scent that was best described by @NatWeb as floral coca-cola. I don’t know if it’s the patchouli influencing me, but I think Blomma Cult smells best on me when I haven’t showered in a day - it feels out of place when my skin is totally clean. Longevity and sillage are both moderate, and appropriate for the type of scent it is - it envelops without shouting. The day after wearing Blomma Cult, my clothes still smell surprisingly strongly of purple flowers. This perfume takes me back to a specific moment in my childhood, being picked up from school on a spring day by my grandmother in her 70s era station wagon that always smelled like the inside of her purse, like hairspray and wax from lipstick and powdery paper from the tiny packs of Kleenex that she hoards. I can smell the syrupy fountain coke she bought for me, and even though she just got her hair done, she lets me roll the windows down so I can smell all the blooming flowers and sunshine.

I was not frankly impressed with Room 1015s range, bar this. Extraordinary opening, your nose shoved straight into into a crop of flowers on a late spring walk. After that it calms down quickly and develops more of an earthy note which lasts the rest of the journey, a rather long journey if you will being that I could still smell it after 72 hours. Personally will be picking up a bottle next time I am in the area to prepare for spring.

This is so addictive, intoxicating, unique and versatile, I can't fathom this isn't an absolute love for everyone. The only complaint is I wish it lasted longer. If this came in extrait concentration, I would buy a full bottle in a heartbeat. Regardless, this is going on my to buy list after going through my decant in just over a week.I have close to 200 fragrances, and this one definitely stands out among the bunch.

Airy, powdery, sweet, with a soft floral heart, brought back down to earth with the cashmeran, cinnamon, & patchouli. It starts out with a powdery sweetness that might scare some people, but the dry-down definitely brings out a woodier and muskier vibe that should appeal to those who like something warmer and more “serious”. IMO it’s versatile and unique enough to make it full-bottle worthy.

What a beautifully fresh and floral fragrance! This is an absolute joy to wear in the Spring and Summer as each element that could easily be overpowering on its own is handled with perfect subtlety. Sweet musks, cinnamon, violet (not iris), cashmere and vanilla blended to perfection. Definitely unisex with a wonderfully light touch of florals and musks.

Precious opening of bergamot and lavender, powerful, fresh and floral lilac point raises the mix to make you appear a smile. Suddenly the dry note of iris appears like a warm summer breeze and the sweetness of vanilla, cinnamon and patchouli mixture makes excellent company to beautiful lilacs initial agreement. Suddenly everything starts to dissipate as if he had a light sleep and something very typical installed seen already in perfumery: A atalcado sweetness accompanied by the typical note of clean white musk. I am very upset this trend in perfumery both niche as a designer to give everything in the first half hour and then leave with honey in the mouth with hardly anything, which just basically responds to the desire to make money to cut costs and not to do good fragrances. I really don't get the shaving cream thing some of you write about! :D To my nose this is powedery, sweet, spicy, slightly floral, slightly woody. It's nice and reminds me of a Swedish candy (gelehallon eller hallonbåtar!). Thought it would be a lot more floral from the name Blomma. Got a decant from my Sniph subscription a while ago. It's nice and pretty unique to me but I didn't find myself reaching for it so i will pass it along! Nice to smell you, Blomma Cult!

This is cashmere. I do not know the scent of Cashmeran itself, but this powdery, soft and moist scent reminds me of fine cashmere. It is covered with sweet and spicy cinnamon. In fact, I don't know if it's like that or not because I didn't live during the hippie movement. But this is a sexy scent option for women that is unique and not conventional. It reminds me of chai tea with lots of sugar, wrapped up in a fine blanket.

i am trying from a sample but can barely smell this. it's quite soft at first. i get bergamot, iris, cashmeran, musk and a little lilac. then i get cinnamon and a lot of vanilla. it smells powdery in an odd sort of non-sweet way. then the cinnamon and vanilla really grow and i sense patchouli. it's a somewhat cozy scent due to the iris/vanilla/cinnamon.

immediately makes me think of humid, hot summers. musky and sweet, but not sugary. the sweetness is complimented with a woody, spicy heaviness. dries down to reveal the more heavy woody/spicy notes, but still carries some of the initial musky sweetness. perfect everyday summer scent for me.

On its own, I reasonably like the fragrance; however, when I layered with Cherry Punk, a new fragrance from the same house, I was instantly enamored. I sneak wiff's off my wrists all day long whenever I wear the two together. 😊

Smells like cinnamon gum drops, i would definitely recommend this mostly for women that are a little bit on the older side.

Floral Coca Cola in the best possible way.

Ah, it's nice when a fragrance is unambiguously just not for you. No gray area, no retesting, no second guessing. Blomma Cult is like that. It's instantly so cinnamon and patchouli heavy that the idea of it being included in a floral discovery box, which it was, is a bit wild to me. But I also get that some people want a less obvious flower scent. But this one ... yeah, no, it smells like an incense shop, which, granted, is a pretty intoxicating scent for the 11 minutes you're in there, but you're also so glad to breathe fresh air once you're out, yknow?

The more delicate floral notes (lilac, but I get some rose as well) are countered with cinnamon, honey, and chocolate. Reminds me of Angel by Mugler, though Blomma is not nearly as strong. So for my nose, this is a soft musky gourmand, with some faded floral notes. A bit weird, but interesting.

I dont smell the powdery notes. It only smells like a dentist office to me.

This vas a very unlucky blind buy! I felt for the notes, but this is just.. no!! Very yucky.. no one should were this! Smells like grandpas old shaving foam mixed with gingerbread! Just strange! Nothing sexy or seductive about this one!

This fragrance smells a bit weird on my skin. At times it reminds me of a cough syrup I used to drink as a child which was sweet and pink and at times it smells like hot cinnamon and sugar coated doughnuts...very undecided on this one

Definitely shaving cream and then add some dirty unwashed hippie. Not my cup of tea.

What is it with violet smelling like banana to me this week? This is a nice vanilla mix with banana notes from the violet, nothing bad, with some soft warm feeling without powder. It’s very faint. I put a wet spot on my hand and I still have to press my nose in. It stays sheer but dries down with far more violet,and the banana gone. It's not unlike the much cheaper Sentres Gourmand Violet Vanille, actually, a sweet vanilla violet. I get the faintest tobacco feeling at end. The first time I tried it, I liked it a lot, but the next time, I got a boring lotion scent. Third try and it was a peppery vanilla with violet/bannana notes. Huh. It was never bad, but I don't need more.

I have to smell this again. I enjoyed the absolutely beautiful violet floral opening. It wasn't cloying at all for a floral. I just thought Bloomacult was beautiful. I wasn't sure when someone would wear this, but was highly impressed with the vibe the opening gave off. I need to get a sample of this to check out the drydown. If there is an iris note, I didn't get it. I just wanted to read what others were saying, as I don't have much experience with this one.

This is pretty good, very unique. At first I smelled like a hairspray Nelly, the old one the one that grandma s would spray. But after a few seconds it turns a little bit more powdery and clean. With a floral touch but still maintains the hairspray quality it’s strange but I like it. Edit: after awhile the cinnamon started to appear now a like it more but I’m still not sure if I would buy a full bottle I would need it to wear it for a full day first.

Smells a bit like shaving cream to me for about an hour. Then it becomes a sort of sweet and slightly creamy vanilla. The drydown reminds me of So First which I do find pleasant. However, the beginning phase of So First is much nicer, so I’d rather just wear that. I’d say it’s pretty unisex. Oddly I find the first hour or two more masculine and then it turns a bit more feminine after that.

a muted cinnamon on a large cashmeran base. i can tell that this has been curated skillfully and with great precision, and i can't fault that, but it's just not for me...

At first its sweet sharp violety scent. The dry down smells like extremely sweet black tea with hints of cinnamon and skin musks. Its nice and elegant.

I like it but the powderiness on top is offputting. The incensy spice base is delicious, but tough to get to with all the vanilla and violet over it.

I had high hopes for this one, but it's too lipsticky for me. It reminds me of a grandma.
