Cherry Punk Extrait de Parfum

Just screams love and rebellion like any good Rock and Roll song or scent should!!!. This is an absolute masterful blending of seemingly disparate scent profiles, and the result is pure fragrance alchemy! It's like you just crushed a bunch of gasoline soaked cherries with your decades-old, cracked, soul stained, kick-ass leather boots...and then smeared the resin all-over every damn thing. The opening to my nose starts off with a fantastic cherry-leather prominence that is sweet, tart and ultimately boldly petrol-forward. However, this is just the overture to the symphony of scents that ultimately morph into a rebellious, resinous, cherry-gasoline-Falcon Leather-esque scent that is endlessly intriguing and far from ordinary! This is the type of cherry scent that a man can wear and still radiate masculinity! The longevity on this one, at least on my skin, was as good as Mancera Red Tobacco, and the sillage was fantastic as well. If you've ever wondered why you don't fit in with the crowd, only to realize that the crowd is a bunch of brain-dead, herd-following sheep, then this baby is for you! A masculine, industrial, steam-punk forward masterpiece that just keeps improving the longer you wear it!

As a guy, finding cherry scents can be difficult. Most of them lean heavily on the feminine side. This one not so much. It doesn't have the blast of the EDP which is expected of an extrait. It has better longevity, but sits a bit closer to the skin. But this works phenomenally on a man or anyone looking for a more masculine cherry scent. The leather is darkened and boldened. The cherry though is still present and works phenomenally with it. As someone who grew up in the punk scene I love it. The leather accord is done extremely well. It is that punk attire darker leather. The Sichuan and Saffron give it that kick at the beginning that is reminiscent of the opening of a south bay/hermosa show. I don't lose the cherry in this throughout the entire lifespan. I do want to note that cherry tends to work well on my skin. But everything seems balanced. It is mature, sensual, yet at the same time feels like it may give you a boot to the face. It's like fragrance graffiti. All in all a fantastic fragrance. Scent: 9/10 Projection: 7/10 Longevity: 11/10 Sillage: 8/10 Overall 9/10

When I reviewed Cherry Punk, I said, "I Love it, but I wish it was just a little louder". Well, the Extrait is Exactly what I meant! The Extrait is definitely stronger and much more noticeable than regular Cherry Punk. Where Cherry Punk is more mellow and "shy", the Extrait is bold & charismatic imo. I do understand the comments about the leather coming off as a tire or ashtray smell lol. I don't really mind it though because it's not over powering and disappears within 15-20 min. Around 30-45 minutes in, the Cherry starts to shine while the leather subdues just a little. I notice the Pepper, Saffron, Tonka and a little Patchouli dancing in and out. I get a hint of Florals, but it's not noticeable enough for me to be able to name the flower(s). It's a beautiful blend even if it's linear. The Extrait definitely lasts longer on me, 6 to 8 hours, and projects much better than CP which becomes a skin scent quickly. I do still love the original Cherry Punk though, as it seems more nuanced and has its time and place.

Now this!! this lives up to its name. Cherry Punk doesn’t smile at you. It smirks. There’s cherry, but it’s not the clean, syrupy cherry you find in department store perfumes. This one is gritty. Dirty, even. Like fruit left out in the sun, soaked in leather and attitude.It opens with a bite. Not playful. Not pretty. The cherry is still there, but it’s been through something. it’s got edge. And backbone. And here’s the thing: it smells masculine, but not in that tired, cologne-for-bros kind of way. Like a woman in a leather jacket walking alone at night, not afraid of the dark. This feels like its made for the tomboyish, the unbending, the ones who never liked being told which aisle our scent should come from. It’s bold. It lingers. Performance? Killer. It lasts on my skin all day, and it doesn’t just sit quietly.. it projects. It enters a room like it owns the damn place. So yeah. Room 1015 understood the assignment. Cherry Punk is exactly what it says it is: a punch of cherry, wrapped in punk energy.

The extract version of Cherry Punk is absolutely to die for! I mean if you love cherry. Otherwise, why would you be interested in this scent?!? Open straight with a very intense, sweet dark cherry blended with powdery flowers: mimosas and violets. There’s some spicy notes, saffron and black leather added into the mix, but luckily for me, I get mostly the feminine notes listed. Goes without saying that I am totally obsessed with Cherry Punk Extrait and I will eventually add this beauty to my collection. As expected from the name, it’s an extrait de parfum, so it’s true to its name, long lasting and good performer. If this perfume would have been on the market when I was crazy over cherry perfumes, few years ago, I would not have bought Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry. I find this superior to TF in all the aspects, especially when it comes to the price. So, if you ever thought about getting Lost Cherry but you couldn’t afford it, do yourself a favour and buy Cherry Punk Extrait instead. Thank me later!

I tested the original a year ago and I remember it not being my thing at all. Leather notes aren’t my thing in general. So I got this new one with Sniph subscription and I think it’s a really good one. This extrait version is very well blended. I can clearly smell a juicy red cherry note at the start after which comes the solid but not too harsh leather. They are both well balanced. In a sense this is a unisex perfume but due to the leather this is not a super girly/highly feminine perfume (Such are usually focused around white florals or sweet notes). Cherry goes away fast and leather stays. However, after an hour perfume disappeared?. I sprayed 4 times. Sillage is minimum too. So I’m not sure how to justify the price for 1h experience. I’m happy to keep my 8ml of it but won’t be buying a bottle. Wonder how do perfumers release a product without a decent longevity, then charge 200€ a bottle..

I tested both Cherry Punk and Cherry Punk Extrait before deciding to buy the Extrait. The opening on both is very similar, but with the original Cherry Punk, the cherry note disappeared within minutes and I was left with a strong, slightly masculine leather dry down. I got a lot more cherry in the Extrait version, and the cherry stayed throughout the wear of the fragrance. Hours after applying I could still smell the cherry note in the dry down. The leather note is in the background, but it's not as dominant on my skin as it was in the original Cherry Punk. This is definitely a test-before-you-buy fragrance, personally, I got a lot more cherry in the Extrait than in the original, but it might be different on your skin. Performance is also excellent, I got up to 8 hours with moderate projection. If you enjoy a cherry note in your fragrances, Cherry Punk Extrait is definitely worth sampling!

I'm torn with this one. It's really nice. It doesn't have the projection and sillage that some reviewers claim. It's average. It lasts about 3 hrs. So slightly below average performance. If youve ever smelled Manceras Red Tobacco. The people that love it; love it for the drydown. Mancera came out with Red Tobacco Intense, which has an even better cherry tobacco & vanilla drydown. Cherry Punk Extrait from the beginning smells like a more cherry version of the drydown of Red Tobacco Intense. It really is a pleasure to smell. It doesn't have the effervescent qualities to my nose of any of the Tom Ford Cherry's. Bodacious by Boadicea the Victorious is still my favorite cherry scent. But this is good. It's not a tart cherry. It's a sweet cherry. Not worth $230US/100ml considering the alternatives, but its still very good. I like it. 7.8/10

I haven't tried the EDP version so I can only speak for the Extrait version.This opens up with a syrupy sweet, maraschino cherry note. Not overwhelming or cloying to my nose. Seconds later, you get a whiff of a smokey, dark leather. As it dries down both scent profiles become tamed and sit closer to the skin. This is a well blended fragrance, neither the cherry or leather over power one another. Both notes stay prominent during the wear making this fragrance feel completely unisex. Personally, I feel that this fragrance leans masculine because the dark leather is prominent. You have to be confident about wearing fruity fragrances as you are confident about wearing masculine leather fragrances. Performance is great! This last about 8-10 hours with minimal sprays on skin.

A masterpiece cherry fragrance, that is almost guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Compared to the EDP, this has a much more pronounced and juicy cherry note to my nose, with less leather. Both are fantastic fragrances, but I prefer this one. The addition of a smooth saffron adds a nice layer of "complexity" or "spice" so to speak. I haven't smelled all the cherry fragrances in the world, but from the ones I have, this tops them all without so much as breaking a sweat. If you've smelled TF lost cherry but want something more interesting with a less floral backbone and less reformulations at ridiculous prices, look no further than cherry punk. Great performance with better than average projection, great for fall & winter and maybe early spring.

This is SO good and unique. I don't normally enjoy leather notes, but this one is done so well. Cherry and leather together just HIT. Makes me wanna try to EDP too to see how they compare. Something about this makes me feel like I've been looking in the wrong corners and categories for fragrances that suit me. I feel so confident wearing this. It's dark, yet clean and just bold enough. Can either swing villain vibes or the hero with a dark past, haha. Alt vibes for sure! Paired perfectly with my Doc Marten's. ETA: This lasted a 12+ hours on my skin as more than just a "skin scent." Longevity is beast.

This has simultaneously amped up cherry and amped up leather compared to the original. It's overall a stronger performer and the sichuan serves to add an extra bit of spice without this actually smelling like chili peppers. I love this one! I decluttered the original despite enjoying it because the performance just wasn't there. With this one though? A lady at the store smelled this through my heavy winter-coat, 3 hours after application. If I had to pick a perfume this reminded me of, I'd pick Bodacious by Boadicae. A total winner!

The extrait version is where it's AT. This is a gorgeous, red ripe cherry upon first spray, but almost immediately gives way to black leather - like your favorite worn-in leather jacket with all the pins on it from the concerts you've been to. The cherry only lingers to sweeten the leather up a bit and this to me is not masculine in the least, rather, it's pretty unisex. Anyone could wear this. Smoky, leather, black, cherry, syrupy. Cherry Punk is the perfect name and a great descriptor for how this smells. 10/10!

One of the best cherry leather if not the best... i have to finally wait a full bottle of lost cherry (tom ford) so i can test them side by side. I was about to buy indecent cherry or Wet Cherry Liquor Bohoboco, but when i test this one really stand out... Usually, I find the leather/ saffron migraine inducing to me but this one really made it extra funky, boozy, luxurious and elegant. will get them all soon when I get a chance and extra budget. Jerome Epinette is a rising star in perfumery.

A perfect blend of luxardo cherry and dark leather with the subtlest hint of Sichuan and saffron. Really, really well done. I don't have anything negative to say about it. It's mature but not dated, unique but not disagreeable. I'm constantly lifting my wrist to my nose to get another sniff of cherry punk goodness. It's also, in my opinion, completely unisex. A few sprays lasts an easy 6 hours on skin and even longer on clothing. One of my absolute favorites.

Wow so good. A dark cherry with smoke, leather and a bit of sweetness. I am diggin this. May have to look into full bottle. Totally blind buy safe, imho, even though I was too scared to pull the trigger and went with a 5ml. I've never loved a 5ml so much though. Imagine a sophisticated cherry like Guerlain's L'Homme Ideal EDP but not as classy, kind of dirty version though. It doesn't smell like the Guerlain but is in that cherry lane. Love

Smells like Lost Cherry + some leather. it’s basic in the best way if you love cherry fragrances you’ll love this. I needed a staple cherry that differs from lhomme ideal edp which is more of a subtle cherry with almond and I wanted something richer than lost cherry which is much more designer and flat. This is the fruity and juicy cherry I was looking for. It’s unapologetically cherry, It’s punk cherry if you will. 8.5/10 love it.

Maraschino cherries with leather in the background. Whereas the original morphs to a smoky leather pretty fast and the cherry note fades to the background (on me, at least), the cherry here stays discernible throughout. Projects well at first, becomes a skin scent a couple of hours in. I'm surprised by how much I love it, I'm not normally one for sweet scents. Can't wait to wear this in the winter.

Cherry Punk Extrait is fantastic especially if you love a cherry note and leather. This just works!! I think about the first time I smelled Tuscan leather and bacio immortele from Argos and how the raspberry note stuck out to me and this gives me the same feeling!!! It’s pretty intoxicating and smells natural to me!! I really love this fragrance!!

This is more cherry then EDP. EDP turns into more leather and somehow, something I'd describe as hot wires. Electrical, dirty like a rock show. Both are very nice, I think men would prefer EDP and women would prefer EX but I'm not being exclusive. Just a general standpoint.
