Love-O-Matic

I love this one. This is not A Beast Mode scent. It is a laundry mat vibe fresh clean non offensive. If you're hoping to get a lot of that strawberry note it's there but it's in the background. I get the bubble gum vibe but it's not like a juicy bubblicious kinda vibe It's like that smell of bubbllicious gum when you first open it you smell like the wafts of the flavor but it's not very strong. Not a sweet scent per se. I would imagine this could be wor on a man on a woman In the spring summer Fall. This is for someone that doesn't want to scream when they first walk in a room and say notice me. It's a quiet confident fragrance. It's white linen blowing on the breeze when you don't wanna reach for the typical citrus fragrance. It's a clean kind of fragrance for bedtime when you want something that just smells clean slightly fruity and there's something endearing about the scent. It's not like the warm and cozy vibe you get from the gourmands or the cardamon heavy bombs we get in the colder weather. But it still gives you that cozy vibe. And as far as freshies go I'm going to put this one up there with Initio's Musk Therapy with a couple hints of fruit. Solid performer 4.25 out of 5!

Love-O-Matic is a huge, easy love for me as a general lover of clean laundry scents, but what surprises me here is -- while this has resemblances to Blanche for sure, the perfume this most reminds me of is not even listed here: Sun Bleached, by Une Nuit Nomade, and, as it turns out, Jérôme Di Marino also composed that one, so - go figure! I love that one as well :-) So far, I've just picked up the travel size of Love-O-Matic, and the first day I wore it, I was able to detect it off and on ALL DAY! It projects subtly and is so laundry fresh smelling, it's perfect for the work environment without being boring. This is a comforting, lovely, easy to love perfume IF you love clean scents. I thought I detected the bubblegum note the first time I tested this in store, but since getting the travel size, I don't really notice it. This is one I could EASILY imagine investing in the 100 ml size, but for now I'll hold off because supposedly Une Nuit Nomade will be coming out with a Sun Bleached Extrait (!!) so I may go for that one instead! Anyways, you can't go wrong with this one if you're a Blanche or Sun Bleached lover. It's great!!

I almost didn't buy a sample of this after reading so many lackluster reviews here on fragrantica, but I'm so glad that I didn't listen! This smells to me like being wrapped in a warm towel fresh from the dryer with the smell of Mr. Bubble bubble bath still in the air after a bath as a kid. The laundry vibe is crisp and strong, very dryer sheet-esque, in the best way. The sweetness is airy and nondescript, just adding a pleasant and comforting rounded edge to the sharp laundry bite. Is it groundbreaking? No. But that's why I love it. It smells familiar, pleasant, clean, cozy. This isn't the scent of a siren or a CEO. This is the smell of a friend who gives the best hugs, or someone who hosts parties where no one is ever uncomfortable. This person owns many soft blankets and fuzzy socks. Plus, it lasts FOREVER and projects a couple of feet on my skin. Performance on clothing? INSANE. At least 10 hours. A new favorite in my book and Ill definitely be upgrading to a full size bottle!

I got a sample in the mail of this not really knowing what to expect... only to pretty much immediately add it to my full bottle wishlist. One thing about me, I am obsessed with cozy video game bathrooms. My favorite is Roblox Royale High’s circa like 2023 when I played way, WAY too much of that game especially as a woman in her 20s. That whole area is like a combo shower/spa/laundromat in one, if it were made for princesses. This fragrance is exactly what I think that would smell like. Sweet, but not gourmand. Musky, but still clean. And something about it just reminds me of such clean and cutesy digital spaces. The fun little apps that came on your 3DS when it was all frutiger aero vibes. And of course, you always had a pink theme on. Sooo cute. I think the girlies who know what I’m talking about will totally get it.

I find this addictive. The first time I tried this I accidentally sprayed it on my fingers and upon first sniff I deduced it was tide in a bottle and not for me. The next day I decided to give it a wear after a shower and I sprayed it on my skin and clothes. Again, strong aldehydes off the top but after a minute or two I was noticing that sweetness from the strawberry bubble gum. I was like, what is that delicious smell? Oh, it's me! I worried the sweetness would go away as quickly as the sharpness of the opening did, but it stayed perfectly balanced. I smelled my shirt the next day and it smelled so clean and deliciously sweet. I immediately bought a full bottle. I absolutely love this for when I want to smell clean but sweet, good but not in an obvious "I'm wearing perfume" kind of way. Love.
