Love-O-Matic

I love this one. This is not A Beast Mode scent. It is a laundry mat vibe fresh clean non offensive. If you're hoping to get a lot of that strawberry note it's there but it's in the background. I get the bubble gum vibe but it's not like a juicy bubblicious kinda vibe It's like that smell of bubbllicious gum when you first open it you smell like the wafts of the flavor but it's not very strong. Not a sweet scent per se. I would imagine this could be wor on a man on a woman In the spring summer Fall. This is for someone that doesn't want to scream when they first walk in a room and say notice me. It's a quiet confident fragrance. It's white linen blowing on the breeze when you don't wanna reach for the typical citrus fragrance. It's a clean kind of fragrance for bedtime when you want something that just smells clean slightly fruity and there's something endearing about the scent. It's not like the warm and cozy vibe you get from the gourmands or the cardamon heavy bombs we get in the colder weather. But it still gives you that cozy vibe. And as far as freshies go I'm going to put this one up there with Initio's Musk Therapy with a couple hints of fruit. Solid performer 4.25 out of 5!

Love-O-Matic is a huge, easy love for me as a general lover of clean laundry scents, but what surprises me here is -- while this has resemblances to Blanche for sure, the perfume this most reminds me of is not even listed here: Sun Bleached, by Une Nuit Nomade, and, as it turns out, Jérôme Di Marino also composed that one, so - go figure! I love that one as well :-) So far, I've just picked up the travel size of Love-O-Matic, and the first day I wore it, I was able to detect it off and on ALL DAY! It projects subtly and is so laundry fresh smelling, it's perfect for the work environment without being boring. This is a comforting, lovely, easy to love perfume IF you love clean scents. I thought I detected the bubblegum note the first time I tested this in store, but since getting the travel size, I don't really notice it. This is one I could EASILY imagine investing in the 100 ml size, but for now I'll hold off because supposedly Une Nuit Nomade will be coming out with a Sun Bleached Extrait (!!) so I may go for that one instead! Anyways, you can't go wrong with this one if you're a Blanche or Sun Bleached lover. It's great!!

I almost didn't buy a sample of this after reading so many lackluster reviews here on fragrantica, but I'm so glad that I didn't listen! This smells to me like being wrapped in a warm towel fresh from the dryer with the smell of Mr. Bubble bubble bath still in the air after a bath as a kid. The laundry vibe is crisp and strong, very dryer sheet-esque, in the best way. The sweetness is airy and nondescript, just adding a pleasant and comforting rounded edge to the sharp laundry bite. Is it groundbreaking? No. But that's why I love it. It smells familiar, pleasant, clean, cozy. This isn't the scent of a siren or a CEO. This is the smell of a friend who gives the best hugs, or someone who hosts parties where no one is ever uncomfortable. This person owns many soft blankets and fuzzy socks. Plus, it lasts FOREVER and projects a couple of feet on my skin. Performance on clothing? INSANE. At least 10 hours. A new favorite in my book and Ill definitely be upgrading to a full size bottle!

I got a sample in the mail of this not really knowing what to expect... only to pretty much immediately add it to my full bottle wishlist. One thing about me, I am obsessed with cozy video game bathrooms. My favorite is Roblox Royale High’s circa like 2023 when I played way, WAY too much of that game especially as a woman in her 20s. That whole area is like a combo shower/spa/laundromat in one, if it were made for princesses. This fragrance is exactly what I think that would smell like. Sweet, but not gourmand. Musky, but still clean. And something about it just reminds me of such clean and cutesy digital spaces. The fun little apps that came on your 3DS when it was all frutiger aero vibes. And of course, you always had a pink theme on. Sooo cute. I think the girlies who know what I’m talking about will totally get it.

I find this addictive. The first time I tried this I accidentally sprayed it on my fingers and upon first sniff I deduced it was tide in a bottle and not for me. The next day I decided to give it a wear after a shower and I sprayed it on my skin and clothes. Again, strong aldehydes off the top but after a minute or two I was noticing that sweetness from the strawberry bubble gum. I was like, what is that delicious smell? Oh, it's me! I worried the sweetness would go away as quickly as the sharpness of the opening did, but it stayed perfectly balanced. I smelled my shirt the next day and it smelled so clean and deliciously sweet. I immediately bought a full bottle. I absolutely love this for when I want to smell clean but sweet, good but not in an obvious "I'm wearing perfume" kind of way. Love.

I'm not a laundry scent gal and I'm not a super sweet gal either. In this case it doesn't matter. I LOVE IT! The scent bubble that forms around me is so delightful. I keep catching whiffs of it throughout the day. After spraying it on, I left the room and then came back a few minutes later and wondered where that nice scent was coming from. It smells so good dispersed in the air. I don't understand how some people are not getting much sweetness or fruitiness, to me the strawberry is very prominent in the opening and then it's pretty much pure bubblegum + laundry detergent or fabric sheets. Like I said, I normally don't like laundry scents but here it just works, it's not too strong or sharp. Just an all around very pleasant, very wearable fragrance and I definitely want to get a full bottle.

Your clothes but better. I hate musk, at least most of the time. It usually comes of as sharp, harsh and synthetic on me. This is a very mellow musk, it's just as if you washed your clothes in the most powerful laundry detergent and put it on just after it dried. It's more of a refreshment scent than a distinct perfume. I use it when i don't really want to wear perfume but rather feel clean and fresh, it gives you that feeling of cleanliness. I don't really pick up a lot on that bubblegum or strawberry, its a little sweet, which might be from that but I can't pick up distinctly on those notes. Longevity is good for what it is and it sits closer to the skin which is fine, it's not meant to be a "beast mode" scent.

I was given a cheeky decant of this and for some reason have not paid it much attention for some reason. That all changed tonight when I had a lil dip into my sample stash and picked this one out. It’s gorgeous - such a clean scent and so laundry coded. This is one of the best laundry scents I’ve tried - I might even prefer it to byredo Blanche! It also seems to leave a lovely scent trail around the house even though I can’t smell it myself. Even my mum commented on it and she likes to drown herself in Angel. This one might have to go on the full bottle list it’s the nicest blind scent I’ve tried in quite a while and is winning 2026 for me so far.

Oh my stars is this a good one! I'm just now getting into the cleaner/musk scents and let me tell you, this one is worth the hype! At first sniff I get clean laundry, but after about 20 min or so I get the bubble gum accord peaking through and it is soooo good! To me, its a clean light bubble gum scent and to my nose, I don't get even the slightest of strawberry which is what I was kind of hoping for, but that's ok, this fragrance is still worth every penny if you love a good clean fragrance. Ill be back later to note longevity. Gawd this stuff is so good. I keep getting whiffs of it when I move around 🥰 this is definitely a love for me

I don't usually go for crisp "laundry" scents but i love this fragrance house and thought if i was gonna try one it should be from here. I love it and am happy i branched out. However, it's not a crisp cotton scent and that's probably why i enjoy it so much. It has a beautiful scent evolution that takes playfulness seriously. The initial spray and opening is bright strawberry, black current juiciness with a humid clean scent. I do get a bit of the citrus as well. The fruitiness begins to dissipate and it smells like a bubblegum dryer sheet for a while. It ends up with a sweet musky dry down and still smells like i tumbled in the dryer.

EDIT - After wearing this all day, I've changed my mind on this scent. It grew into a really interesting, feminine, gentle bubble gum aroma that I keep catching wafts of. It's really yummy. The plastic scent has completely dissipated and the scent has almost grown up. I love it. Initial spray smells entirely too synthetic and plastic-y. And at dry down, it smells like laundry while chewing double bubble. It's nice and sits very very close to the skin. It's personally not for me but if you're in your early to mid twenties, looking for a fun summer/spring fragrance that delivers nostalgia and playful notes, this may be for you!

A soft and smooth, yet enveloping opening of sweet pink bubblegum. Very reminiscent of those cubed gums sold at the corner stores from childhood memories - the immediate taste of fruity juiciness when chewed is almost too realistic as a scent. It is then supported by the aldehydic nature of the dry-down which further enhances the "clean" aesthetic, which really appeals to those who enjoy the freshness of sun-dried laundry sheets. Love-O-Matic strongly evokes the impression of pure and undisturbed playfulness, while also giving a calming effect that gently fades down to your skin with a very pleasant clean musky base.

This is my favorite fragrance in this category. I love laundry detergent and wanted a true laundry scent that wasn't super literal but still actually smelled like soap. Very unique (to me) fruity and sweet take on detergent. Not as aldehydic as Valaya, way more interesting (and even sweeter) than Blanche. Doesn't go as sweet as Oriana, but it's close. Perfect for casual settings or errands on hot days. Fun and flirty, but not juvenile. The bubblegum accord is in the background for me, but gives just the right amount of nostalgia. Wish it had better longevity and projection, but I'm still loving it.

I absolutely adore this one!!! It’s such a pretty, clean scent, and I get lots of compliments, people often tell me I smell fresh and clean. The longevity is quite good on clothes, but unfortunately, it fades pretty quickly on my skin which is not a issue for me normally. I do pick up a strawberry bubblegum note on my skin, though not on my clothes. It can be a bit too powdery at times and might even cause headaches for some people, but overall, the compliments outweigh that. It’s definitely a great clean fragrance, but Blanche by Byredo still holds the top spot it feels more balanced. 7/10

Whoa what the heck. With the name I expected musk, soap and detergent, and was suspicious of the actual notes but it’s soft, bubble gummy and comforting. It makes me think of being in the lush green grass of my nanny’s backyard in the summer as a kid, while her freshly washed laundry is in the dryer and venting out warm and fragrant. It’s like the blend of many laundry soaps with the harshness of the actual detergent taken out. I expected the nose burning experience scents like musk therapy give me, but instead it’s gentle and nostalgic and makes me think of calm, summer mornings.

Comes it quick with the sweetness that’s cute and not cloying. I definitely get the bubblegum and the fruity notes remind me of a bath and body works perfume in the best way. This is like it’s older cousin. After a while it gets a bit “I walked behind the dorms on a Sunday night” with the laundry room smell and I LOVE IT. Doesn’t project much but it’s good because it’s the kind of perfume that you smell when you lean in or have yoir nose in someone’s neck. Not everything has to be some beast mode fragrance. 4/5 I’m gonna keep on trying this one but it left a good first impression

I have compared this one and Byredo's Blanche side by side, in my search for the perfect clean perfume. Love-o-Matic is a little bit sweeter than Blanche, lessen that laundry-like scent and making it softer on the clean side. I prefer the pungent cleanliness of Blanche, but must admit that it can be overwhelming. On the dry down both are quite similar. Love-o-Matic last longer and is, overall, less sharp, but it is also true that, being more perfumey, lacks also that crispy note that makes Blanche smells more like detergent than a perfume.

this one is definitely a true clean girl laundry scent! at its opening, it’s very sharp—like laundry detergent, of course. after a while, i start to get a hint of the bubblegum and something more mellow! will def be keeping this 10ml around but perhaps not a full bottle (edit: had to come back to my review because i would most definitely buy a full bottle of this lol, it’s such a perfect office fragrance, i feel so clean and fresh wearing it and i really look forward to the point at which i finally get the bubblegum note after spraying!)

If a washing machine made a wish to become a girl and A24 produced the movie. A few things about her. Definitely a fruity musk. The bubblegum note reminds me of a particular facet of tuberose, but not floral. Think distilled, crystallized and synthetic (in a good way). While there is a "laundry" aspect here, it's more so the electric charges air inside a laundromat. Very fuzzy, static and nostalgic. Definitely leans feminine and young (or young-at-heart). If you're a playful romantic - you're gonna love her .

This was a blind buy that just arrived. Smells like you scooped up some powdered laundry detergent(not the liquid det.) with a tiny sprinkle of something pink sweet in the background, I unfortunately don't pickup a bubblegum note. I love it anyway surprisingly. Perfect for days that you want to just smell clean and not perfumey. I'm sure it'll also make a good bedtime scent. Longevity & projection are moderate. ROOM1015 PLEASE COME OUT WITH AN INTENSE VERSION OF THIS BUT HAVE BUBBLEGUM BE THE DOMINANT NOTE 💕

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this perfume. If you are searching for a good laundry scent, this is it. It is clean without being sharp, it is sweet and bubblegummy without being childish. It is a perfect combination of clean and fruity. For those who want to experience a laundry clean perfume but are afraid of strong aldehydes, this is perfect. I love to layer this with other clean or fruity perfumes. Lately with creme de clementine by nest and clean reserve skin intense... oh that’s such a good combo for summer.

I’m currently obsessively fixated on this fragrance. As far as my personal perfume preferences go, this is a 10/10 for me. It’s musky, clean, fruity, slightly molecular, long lasting and unique. I want to say I get laundry sheets, but not the cloyingly soapy kind, but a luxury laundry sheet that is pink because it smells like soft strawberry bubblegum and a sparkling musk with a hint of citrus. Not like anything I have in my collection, and my favorite blind buy yet. LOVE THIS 🫧

This literally smells just like the notes. Safe blind buy if you like cotton, clean leaning scents. It’s a fun take on clean scents but can be confusing because you can’t tell if you’re smelling the perfume or your laundry detergent haha. It smells like a good laundry detergent with a hint of sweetness but I don’t smell the bubblegum note. Is it ground breaking? No. But it doesn’t have to be. It’s an easy reach for days that you want to smell fresh and clean.

Thia one was a blind buy gone good! To me it smells nostalgic, but I can not seem to identify it. Maybe something I wore or smelled on someone else in high school? It has a fresh cut strawberry scent with shampoo. Very clean and fresh. Maybe a lil airy? I love it! Not really picking up on the bubblegum but I can see how it’s in there. Kinda hidden in a good way. Thinking of layering this with Vanilla Candy by Kayali or Pink Woods by Ariana Grande.

I didn't expect to like this but ended up loving it. The opening is a bit sharp and the "detergent" note is prominent, but it goes away after 5 mins when sprayed on skin - leaving a soft, playful, musky strawberry which lasts for the better part of 5-6 hours. It's also fruity without coming across as juvenile. My boyfriend loved it and said it was in the top 3 of his favourite fragrances he's ever smelled on me (and I have a LOT of them)!

I love the way this smells, however, it disappears pretty quickly. I typically don’t have issues with longevity, so I was surprised... either that or I’m going completely nose blind. It smells heavenly though - like fresh laundry, champagne/sparkling and berries. A lot of people said they smelled bubble gum — which definitely worried me because I hate that note, but I’m happy to report that that was not the case here. I adore this.

I wanted to love both Blanche and Acne Studios, but they gave me a headache, they were way to screechy and synthetic. Love-O-Matic is the PERFECT laundry scent, fruity, musky and clean, without being annoying or overwhelming. To me the strawberry and musk notes are the most prominent ones, but I can also smell the bubble gum. It doesn't smell like straight up detergent, it smells like a clean, fruity musk perfume, love it!

What an amazing scent. At first when I sprayed it I was almost upset at myself for yet another clean scent that is like the others. But then it’s started to change on me. It has fruit. It has detergent. It has this fresh washed clothes but not yet dried aspect to it also. I can smell a strawberry bubbalicious with the strawberry juice inside. I mean this is truly amazing! Very glad I bought it AND it was a blind buy 🤭😍😍😍

After such a long winter, this breath of spring is perfect. 🌿 Room 1015 makes such beautiful scents. After a cold snowy season of Purple Mantra, this is the scent I'm craving. Can't smell the bubblegum & frankly I don't miss it at all. This is fruity, fresh air, floral... sexy, clean, joyful.. It lingers, on skin, on clothes, in my hair...my man loves this on me. Nothing but good things here... Happiness in a bottle.

If you’re an aldehyde lover (think TF Metallique) then you’ll love this. Even if you don’t, you still may love it. This smells like the notes would have you think. A bit of bubblegum, a bit of fruitiness and laundry sheets. I could wear this everyday (if I didn’t have a perfume addiction that is.) Smells like your a kid again, chewing strawberry bubblegum and wearing freshly laundered PJ’s. Very nostalgic.

i made the mistake of buying a 5ml of this 🥹 knowing full well i’d love it. in short, it’s a very photorealistic scent of sitting in a fancy laundromat and chewing strawberry flavored bubblegum. the bubblegum is very noticeable at first, but it dries down to a scent of boujee dryer sheets with bubblegum sweetness way in the background. this is an easy 10/10 for me, but i love clean/laundry smells.

Really gorgeous clean laundry bubblegum scent. I was worried the bubblegum would be overly sweet but the musk adds a levity that really makes sure it doesn't overpower the scent. Gorgeous, definitely more feminine leaning but I wouldn't be unhappy to wear this again. Edit: Definitely a compliment attractor, I don't think I've been complimented as much wearing another fragrance.

Love-O-Matic opens like the best laundry scent you've ever smelled and slowly reveals something more interesting underneath. Bright, playful fruit layered over clean modern musk - fresh, clean and beautifully airy. The drydown fades into a skin-close musk that feels personal and effortless. Still on my revisit list before I commit but it keeps calling me back.

I love this fragrance in ways I can’t even explain. There is a nostalgia to it that transports me back to my mum and dad swinging me round in the sheets straight from the dryer. It’s fresh and cozy all at once. Rarely does a fragrance have such an effect on me but this feeling, is surely what all us perfume addicts are searching for? Love. Love. Love. 10/10

Okay so this smells exactly like a sweet pink bubblegum that you have chewed on for 2 hours and left it on the table. After a while you pick that bubblegum up and you expect it to taste sweet again, but you forgot that there is barely any flavour left. That exact tasteless bubble gum taste/smell + Byredo Blanche = Love O Matic. I fell in LOOOOVVVVEEEEEEEE

I think this is a new favorite freshie for me! It's so girly and sweet. It flirts with being too juvenile without crossing the line. It's definitely a powdered laundry detergent smell. It just has that crispy freshness that I feel like the powder detergents have. Room 1015 really redeemed themselves with this one after my disappointment in Jasmine Freak.

My new favorite! The idea of a scent story that describes chewing gum at the laundromat piqued my interest. I ordered a small sample honestly expecting not to like it that much - but it's my new favorite. I've already ordered a 10 ml size and I expect I'll rip through it. I have over 100 1-2 ml samples and I keep going back to this one.

If I drown, drown me in this. Edit: My initial review was the same day my 10 ml decant arrived and I ended up buying the 100ml a few days ago( it’s April, now). There was no way I wasn’t going to get the largest flanker I could. I just purchased a decant of sonic flower cause I really want to see what else Room 1015 has to offer.

Truly shocked that I love this one! I am not one for laundry clean scents because they are usually too sharp for me. It’s fruity and fizzy, light and just smells like strawberry bubble gum and fresh clean sheets that you washed with lemon scented booster. Delightful during a heat wave, and lasts about 5-6 hours on me!

Clean Laundry I love clean scents and even though it's new to my collection, it's right up there with my favorites. Love at first sniff! It smells like fresh clean laundry, with a very slight fruity,floral sweetness. I was worried about the Bubblegum note, but I don't detect Bubblegum at all. I love it!

Smells literally like fresh laundry straight out of the washing machine, with just a slight hint of bubblegum sweetness. It's a very easy to wear and pleasant skin scent that makes you feel super clean ! Sillage is of a skin scent but the longevity is quite good at around 5 to 6 hours. Great fragrance !

Strawberry bubble gum dryer sheets forever, a great pick me up fragrance for any time and any day. Modern French perfumery at its finest, this one will give you 7/8 hours. Reminds me of a distant memory of a lover, you wont catch me without a bottle of this in my collection going forward!

I absolutely love this perfume! The strawberry and bubblegum mix so interestingly with the clean laundry smell! It smells both new and original and like something from my childhood. Something that reminds me of clean sheets and safety. So glad it’s spring now so I can wear this more!

I bought this from TheParfums, and it arrived today. First off, this is such a nice fragrance. It's super clean and fruity without being overly sweet or cloying. I really love it, and I can definitely see myself wearing it every day, even during the colder months. Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best way to describe this scent is happy. It's pretty linear-- I'm getting bright strawberry, a touch of citrus, and fresh linen. The aldehydes are very modern (meaning not overwhelming or TOO clean and sharp). Maybe a touch of bubblegum but it's subtle. More feminine than unisex.

This is a great fresh scent that mixes laundry with shower with strawberry bubblegum. The bubblegum is more subtle than the strawberry, but these additions give the scent a youthful, fun, flirty edge without feeling juvenile. A freshie with a twist that’s suitable for daily wear.

I don't like clean fragrances at all, but the bubblegum note, omg. It reminds me father figure from phlur at the drydown. Opening is citrusy and than you can smell the musc and pink bubblegum. Its clean fragrance but with something different. I will buy a travell for sure.

This is really delightful. Light, clean, keeps me coming back for more. Super well-balanced. Fresh in the sense that this is a new smell to me - not reminding of any detergent or cleaning spray I can recall. Makes me feel open, in the big-five sense. Beautiful.

This is such a great everyday scent because it does lean towards a clean laundry smell, but it has this subtle and clean sweetness from the bubblegum and strawberry that make it so much more balanced than “straight up laundry.” I love it—bought a full bottle.
