Yesterday

This is my favorite thing to wear right now. I have a hard time picking out individual notes from the top and middle, but I find the combination heavenly. I definitely get the barbershop feel, and I think the base stands out the most. It's a tonka heavy fragrance with nice wood and spice, and a combination of mostly indistinguishable pleasant light and airy notes on top. I will say, I really don't like lavender so I'm glad I can't pick that one out. This lasts for many hours on me. Sometimes I put it on before bed and I can still smell it in the morning. I don't find that it goes through a lot of changes—it pretty much just smells the same from start to finish on my skin.

WOW! Stunning juice. Slightly sweet, green and floral to my nose. I get a little apple type vibe from it as well. I do smell vetiver, basil, cardamom and sandalwood. I would say this is a true unisex. I think this is a perfect juice for spring, summer and fall. Day or night. I wouldn't pay full retail for this but a nice decant will do you. Enjoy! In the dry down Now that I am over 5 hours in the dry down is very similar to Davidoff The Good Life. Lots of Vetiver. Awesome juice.

Been absolutely loving this scent -- it starts off heavy on the wood and spice of the vetiver and cardamom, but dries down to a sweet, crisp apple. The addition of geranium rounds this dried-down sweetness without making it an overwhelmingly floral scent. It's a perfume that wakes you up and gives you something gently citrusy-sweet throughout the rest of the day.

Reminds me a lot of just an amalegmation of a bunch of herbal green DNA type body care products (soap, body wash, aftershave). Smells good nothing ineffensive if used moderately i think everyone has smelt something like this before in some hotel or house's bathroom.

A classic aromatic barbershop scent. Quite lemony on the opening, moving to more green/herbal as it opens up. Well executed, for sure, but a bit generic. Does it make me think of The Beatles? Not really. Quite low sillage and short longevity.

Barber shop style scent, very nice but leans masculine, very wearable and you can just imagine the steamy bathroom filled with men's cologne and banter.

Vetiver, fresh, citrusy and green. Weak parameters and that’s huge pity.

The opening is a truly masculine cologne. It's refreshing and alcoholic, like an aftershave. However, after a moment, the scent becomes soft and delicately powdery. Tonka, musk, and lavender smooth it out. This fragrance is closer to mainstream than niche; it's a safe, everyday scent, rather masculine. It's somewhat similar to Coolwater, but with much better performance. Considering I need to thin out my collection, it won't stick with me, but it certainly has its fans. Rating: 3/5

Yesterday is a classic men’s spicy, mossy, lavender fougere. It’s dry, green and has that spicy shaving cream scent. It’s soft, aromatic and herbaceous and would make a perfect blind-buy gift for a beloved gentleman.

Wanted to like this. It opens up very nice and crisp/bright--citrus, lavender, geranium, and an apple accord. But then it quickly dries down to a less obnoxious A&F Fierce.

It's a very nice fragrance, fresh and aquatic but being a woman myself I would say this is more of a male fragrance. I would love smelling this on my husband.

Smells like a generic aftershave. Meh.

Synthetic, generic and horrible. I think obnoxious scents like this is why so many can ́t stand perfume. And what a name. With that name you kind of expect something classical and more natural.

Reminiscent of a boring, typical, 90s-ish men’s fragrance found in a mall, like what they hose down Abercrombie with.

I just really hate this. Opening is like a brutal aftershave, dry down is a very sophisticated and soft aftershave

I've test driven this for a day now from the sampler pack. It opens fizzy, yellow. So lemony on the opening (bergamot). As it develops - reminiscent of spray'n'wipe, lemon sherbert, and there's some kind of synthetic amber + a vanilla (that would be the tonka) in the dry down giving it a sweet, pleasing, skin scent dry down. I feel like the combo of lavender and bergamot is giving me 'detergent', when the scent combo probably predates detergent. This scent is nice, and the musk/ amber/ tonka dry down anchors the scent to the skin in a natural way, even if the opening is neither super artifical nor super natural. It smells expensive. Nice, well-rounded, interesting. No harsh notes, no sneezes. It smells sweeter and deeper on skin, sharper and skinnier on fabric. There's a marked smell difference between the two surfaces. This was supposed to be inspired by the 60s, the Beatles song, and shaving, of all things. It's clean, optimistic, groovy, and thank God without any cigarettes, diesel fumes, or patchouli. I don't love it, but I can tolerate it. And that's a great achievement.

I have a lot of fragrances and every single one I’ve smelled with “sandalwood” as a note has never smelled like it, but this one really takes the cake. THIS is what sandalwood should smell like in a fragrance. The opening is similar to AF fierce but not identical, reminds me of “Bora Bora” by Liz Claiborne for the first minute then Transitions into a Blast of the sandalwood I’ve been dying to smell. If you like sandalwood heavy citrus freshies this is your go to. I think some people might find the sandalwood too overpowering, if I smell it long enough it kind of smells like bleach. But overall a decently done fragrance with an interesting story.

A fresh fougère with a classic barbershop feel that doesn't come across as dated. It sits in the same family as Platinum Égoïste, Eternity for Men and My Gentleman, carrying that traditional clean, soapy masculine profile. As the lavender, geranium and citrus settle, the subtle vetiver, woods and cardamom base comes forward. The opening is a bit sharp, but the drydown is nice and has character. I can see how some would dismiss this as basic, but this is one I want to explore further. I also tend to keep an eye on Anne-Sophie Behaghel's work, as I really enjoy Le Barbier de Tanger.

I get lots of vetiver and like another reviewer said "barborshop" feel. It opens very very masculine on my skin. I thought scent bird sent me the wrong perfume at first because it definatly didn't smell unisex. After 10 min it starts to smell a little more unisex..cardamom comes out and some of the vetiver dissapates. It reminds me slightly of a Hollister cologne an x of mine would wear. Very sexy for a man. I like masculine leaning perfume but this smells like an after shave with cardomom..it just doesn't fit me.

Gorgeous! The first spray opens with a deliciously clean note of basil. That first spray leans toward a masculine fragrance, but this immediately softens to a beautiful herbal and moss. There are notes of citrus and spice in there too. This is one of those rare, unisex fragrances that works equally well on women or men (most seem to lean one way or the other). Yesterday is even better than I hoped. Can't wait to try the rest of the Room 1015 line.

A quality aromatic with more of a party vibe I get a airy and light patchouli and the sense of cotton candy, but not overly sweet. There the tiniest amount of powder and somehow this fragrance reminded me of a carnival. Unisex, but leaning feminine IMO Overall quality juice for a fun casual spring , summer or fall day Hopefully this will have a scent memory for you too 4 or 5 hours longevity , good projection and sillage

I don’t get hating on this because it smells like aftershave / shaving cream because it is meant to smell like the Beatles shaving/ getting ready. Definitely a classic, somewhat generic fougere but not a problem when it’s this well done all around. Also not sure what but some note is keeping it from going full on classic men’s cologne and keeps it modern

Reminds me so much of those 90s era fuck boy frags (think fierce by AF) without smelling like a clone of those frags. Obviously synthetic but I think that's part of the charm if I'm being honest.

Was smelling my skin like crazy trying to remember what this reminds me of on the dry down, and looking at the reminds me section PDM Percival is EXACTLY the same

Yes, it is classic and yes, it seems very familiar but... it is very well done and lovely!

Question: The 1015 website lists rhubarb as a note. Does anyone smell that?
