Malamata

Malamata reminds me of roaming a botanic garden where the lawns have been freshly mowed and I am wandering through the various herbs with their purple blooms (most of these plants happen to be in the mint or Mentheae tribe of plants). Whenever I am among a plot of herbs, I cannot resist tearing a leaf from each plant to appreciate the aroma and to express the oils onto my fingers. For example, I just did this yesterday, sneaking just a bit of anise hyssop and Russian sage. Can anyone else relate to this? Grass and aromatic herbs in Malamata are eclipsed by a lily of the valley in its heart, which recalls the feel of FM Synthetic Jungle, yet while that feels wonderfully hothouse saturated, Malamata is more a breezy open air sort of feel. The latter half of its development is like mugwort and fresh mown hay, the mingling of sweet camphor and drying, grassy softness. It's almost as if I've wandered from the grounds of the botanic garden into an adjacent wild meadow. It's a lovely creation from Ropion.

Freshly sprayed, this smells JUST like jade Tieguanyin oolong tea to me. I don’t care if I wear it or use it as a room spray, this was a no-brainer immediate full bottle purchase. For those in the U.S., if you ever tried Teavana’s “Monkey Picked Oolong” back when they had physical stores, you might get a blast of nostalgia from this.

Delikate, wodne, zielono - białe: jeśli ktoś tak jak ja czyta zapachy w kolorach😉, czuje w nich bardzo naturalną konwalie, to mój ukochany Kwiat, jednak tu jest bardzo wodny, delikatny, jak by zgnieciona w rekach konwalia razem z liśćmi włożona do letniej wody. Często zapachy z konwalią pachną jak chemiczny płyn do podług, tutaj jest zupełnie inaczej. Są bardzo przyjemnie wręcz uspokajające, jak jedna świeża konwalia w małym wazonie w pokoju w maju, którą bierzesz w wolnej chwili by przypomnieć sobie zapach robiąc coś w domu. 🤍
