Fresh Oud

#1552 in my "Tour de Fragrance" God how I love woody iris scents! This is a damn fine fragrance! An oudier version of one of my all-time favorites, Nobile 1942 "Pontevecchio." Toss in some incense or myrrh and you'd have Amouage "Interlude Black Iris", except I paid $79 for this, not the $190 and up they're asking for now for Interlude Black Iris. This is a delicious scent for date wear, but not office wear for me. Lasts all day, strong projection, sure to draw positive notice, and I've got just the woman to try it out on. She was crazy for Black Iris, so she's sure to love this stuff. I'd go light with this. Doesn't take much with this level of quality, and the price is really nice! Good Luck and Good Hunting.

What it says on the tin. It's a refreshing, tamed, refined Oud that goes in the barnyard direction but it's been polished. Think a modern savage in a black suit at a wedding, glowing weathered skin, athletic, clean shaven and obscure. Extremely masculine and dynamic.

It is fresh oud ...... yes citrus and synthetic oud It smells very good but the disaster is the longevity just take the fun out of the fragrance Try before you buy

Fecal oud with a hint of baby vomit. I cannot imagine someone wanting to smell like this.

had a visceral reaction in fortnum and mason last week when innocently picking this unsuspecting fragrance up to try. straight up doodoo baby diaper liquid diarrhoea. was this created as a prank??? forced two of my friends to try it and as soon as the bottle cap reached the general vicinity of their nostrils they convulsed :D interesting take on oud

Worst blind buy I’ve ever purchased! This is horrible! It opens to one of the worst ouds to smell and it takes too long to settle into a better scent. I get a really harsh manure opening. I would not recommend this frag for anyone. There is nothing fresh about it. I can’t believe Rosendo created this when he usually makes masterpieces.

SMELLS LITERALLY LIKE SOMEONE SHIT IN THIS BOTTLE! IM NOT HATING IT JUST SMELLS LIKE LITERALL SHIT!

It opens a little strangely with a fizzy dark fruity smoky 'oud that immediately reminded me of blackcurrant intertwined with fine warm spices. I didn't take a citrus exit as it appears in its pyramidal structure. The powdery floral heart is barely noticeable and passes quickly, serving only as a transition to a rough, leathery, musky, woody, and warm base. I personally like fragrance with these characteristics. The fragrance delivers the proposal of a fresh 'oud? Not for me. Is it a heavy oud perfume? Not heavy, but a dark fruity smoky dense oud. I liked it

This is not 'fresh' in the sense of clean and uplifting, but as in a 'fresh' pile of cow manure. (FYI, I am challenged by fecal ouds)

smells like wax, urine and citrus... a bit weird
