My local niche boutique started showing me RM5 and telling me how amazing it was, but I kindly asked to smell RM6 instead and... oh my God. After all the swatches on my arm (of many great perfumes), I smelled RM6 and it made me feel something unique. My first thought was: I just came out of a luxurious spa and they treated my hair and body with the most expensive products. That’s exactly what this perfume evokes for me. It’s not an evolving story, it’s not a bizarre yet mind blowing combo of notes. But the simplicity of it is what makes it so so so good and I can’t stop spraying. (compared to RM-5 which I also bought and it’s almost unused...) Pure class, elegance, coziness and femininity. :) I instantly bought the bottle ☺️ and it’s been going down pretty quickly ever since...

This is a blind buy that was way better than i imagined , ambery floral fragnance that feels elegant and perfectly unisex in my opinion , delightful smell that enjoyable from the beginning to the end , and my favorite part about it is the opening , the jasmine and the light coconut in the background gives a pleasent dose of joy, i bought this one and no5 and honestly i think they complement each other with no6 having the better opening and no6 being louder and a tad bit more sophisticated ( not much)

Absolutely lovely. Most jasmine frags turn on me but not this one. :) So well executed, a beautiful blend of notes. The Rosendo Mateu frags I tried so far were all excellent, complex, high quality and well-balanced, seems one cannot go wrong with this house. I also love that he is not going with the mainstream and just churn out one-dimensional sugary stuff so perfume connoisseurs can restore their hope in niche perfumery. This one is safe for blind-buy folks and the price is right for the quality.

I'm going through this bottle way too quickly! Shout out to VeronicaSays! She is such a gem! She recommended the beautiful scent and I am enjoying the heck out of it. To me personally, this fragrance presents as a bright, smooth, and wonderfully creamy sandalwood, beautifully complemented by a sexy jasmine that truly shines through in the soft vanillic musky dry down. With a light touch of sweetness. This one is truly a beauty.

I just blind-bought this, and it turned out to be a total success for me. I really, really love the scent. It’s not jasmine-dominant, but the jasmine, vanilla, and sandalwood blend together perfectly! I also detected a hint of coconut. It’s so smooth and soft that it makes you want to sniff your wrist all day. Definitely one of the best jasmine fragrances!

Seriously in love with Rosendo Mateu No 6. I was a tad nervous about blind buying this one, but man oh man I’m so glad I did. This fragrance gives grown woman energy, mature, confident, and all about her business! Lol. I love her, seriously. Definite date night vibes. 10/10. And for the price? Absolutely worth it.

The opening is natural, understated jasmine and green notes. Layered underneath it is smooth creamy sandalwood, a hint of resins, and a cozy musk. The result is intimate, gentle, and pillowy. The notes are well blended with subtle complexity.

Creamy Jasmine in your face, and I think maybe tuberose? This smells exactly 100%, fight me if you disagree, like Arabian Oud's Kashmir musk, but Kashmir musk has dirty animalicness to it. This one is more clean. It's ok..

I got this last week. It's beautiful, but I don't think it's for everyone. This reminds me mostly of Nishane Tempfluo, which I love. Also the jasmine is similar to the one in Tilia.

First purchase from this house, a blind one. And what a good choice it was. My initial impression upon opening the package was stellar. The bottle is gorgeous with its simplistic design of clean lines and metal plaque symmetrically placed. The glass is ultra smooth and high quality like crystal. It's not heavy or chunky and feels lightweight and delicate in my hand compared to every other perfume bottle I've ever held. I hope to never find out how durable it is or isn't, so I will keep it placed on my shelf where it can't get knocked over. Packaging aside, Rosendo 6 is dreamy. It's veeery creamy sandalwood, skin-like musk and florals with an oriental influence. It's bit warm spicy. A bit balmy/powdery with an orris-like quality, exotic fruity, resinous & vanillic. It all works together so beautifully. The florals aren't too pronounced on their own, but I do detect a sweet, ripe jasmine. There may be gardenia or tuberose in here as well, I'm not certain. The coconut lends to the creaminess of sandalwood and provides a slight tropical nuance, though it's not a coconut fragrance as such. Hints of floral powderiness and musky vanilla in the drydown give it warmth and a fluffy texture. Rosendo 6 is the most refined, luxurious, fragrance I've smelled In a long time. It absolutely could be worn in formal or business settings, but it isn't restrictive to high heels and buttoned - up vests. It smells polished and expensive while still approachable and light - hearted, which is one of my favorite types of duality in fragrance. Think Ormande Jayne style & quality of blend. I adore it so so much. I'm wearing it in the dead of winter and it couldn't be more perfect. The rich complexities and underlying warmth make it very appropriate even the coldest days like today despite containing coconut, green notes and florals. Don't let the coconut and green notes fool you. On my skin it delivers the promise of sandalwood oriental floral musk and does so in an effortlessly elevated way. I've never smelled anything quite like it. It contains high percentage of perfume oil, as evidenced by the sheen on my skin after I spray. It has incredible longevity and relatively intimate (but still perceptible) projection. It's considered an edp but wears more like extrait. I would really love to get my nose on the rest of what this house has to offer. If the others are anything like "6" in terms of quality and likeability, take my money now please.

Updates/edits made at bottom of review. Upon initial blast on skin, an airy spicy jasmine. Lovely! And then within 2 minutes, it’s 100% Manecra Holidays (but refined). And man, my nose did not fail me because they share 4 notes and then similar secondary notes. Vanilla, coconut, sandalwood and musk. Ylang vs jasmine for the floral note. But yes heavy similarities. Touch of saltiness! After 10/15 mins, it becomes powdery and softly rounded. I can see how people would interpret this as nutty/almondy. Smells like skin after a long day at the beach in a wonderful way. If you’re wondering if this is similar to Poudre D’Or by Mizensir. No, different fragrances BUT similar warm tropical vibe. They do share vanilla, sandalwood, musk and jasmine and you’d think it would be very similar...but Poudre has a dose of iris that makes it smell almost soapy clean. No 6 is warmer and sunscreen-like. EDIT: After wearing this for half a day. This changed a lot since my initial review above. On clothes, this is fruity and musky (and every so slightly spicy) jasmine. On skin, it's more of a smooth sandalwood musk with hints of jasmine and vanilla. Coconut dissipated for the most part. This fragrance is not a screamer at all. It is more of an aura around you, which i think it perfectly suits the style of the fragrance.

This is very musky, but I wouldn't classify it as oriental musk. It's the typical modern niche unisex fragrance musk/amber note that can be scratchy and harsh if you're sensitive to it. If you know, you know, if not, you're lucky. If you're not sure, Xerjoff Erba Pura and Tiziana Terenzi Kirke are reference scents for this accord. I usually can't stand it, but surprisingly I find it tolerable in Rosendo Mateu No. 6. It's not overdosed here, but finely balanced with the other notes. I mainly get a lovely soft, warm coconut and jasmine blend with an underlying milkiness from vanilla and sandalwood. Sweet fruits and a hint of spices round out the scent. Like No. 5 and No. 7, this is a multilayered fragrance with lots of facets to discover. They all share a similar base DNA, but I can't put my finger on what it is. Anyways, I think the contrast between the fresh sharpness and the more feminine, powdery and sweet notes is quite interesting and gives off a mysterious vibe without feeling dark or heavy. In the end this is still a little sharp for me at times, but I acknowledge it's a good scent. If you can deal with this specific kind of musk better than I can, this would even make a nice signature that could be worn year round, day and night.

I definitely smell sweet almond as well, moreso than coconut, over powdery musk. The powder can get a little cloying and does feel rather feminine as noted below, but if you like powder as much as I do, it’s welcomed. The powder intensifies quickly but then dissipates slowly over about an hour. Sandalwood just barely peeks out in the opening and heart of the fragrance but becomes prominent & amplified by Amber in the deep drydown. This is the best part of the fragrance to me. I can’ barely smell the jasmine and I don’t get green notes. This is my favorite from the line up and I’ve only worn it in cool/ cold weather so far. It doesn’t have the best longevity or projection, but I do have a nice personal scent bubble for about 4 hours or so. i think it is most appropriate for personal or intimate enjoyment but wearable on any other occasion. The atomizers are bad. They are hard to press down and it spray out too much juice. I don’t understand why this small detail is missing with some perfume houses; reminds me of the old Serge Lutens bottles which i just hated spraying no matter how much the juice was loved.

This is a not-so-unique DNA done in a very unique way (for me). It's a musky oriental jasmine sandalwood scent, a little synthetic overall, with a hint of something... almost kind of plastic. That sounds so weird, but I actually dig it. There's something so sexy about this perfume. Definitely not something I would wear to the office or to meet a partner's parents for the first time, it's just not a safe choice, especially around people who aren't used to smelling niche scents. I also don't think it's summer appropriate (even though the jasmine and coconut might make it seem that way). I think what saves it is that it's not sweet. If it was sweet, synthetic and plastic, it would be nausea inducing – this way it's just a little peculiar, in a kind of naughty manner. It is taking a lot of self-talk not to just place an order (I currently have a chance to get it for 120$), even though I know I should wear it and test it more to be sure. Sigh. Update 5 hours later: I ordered it.

This perfume is driving me crazy. First of all, based on the notes i should not like it because i really don’t like musk, amber, sandalwood, especially not when they are all together. This should give me terrible headaches but it doesn’t. I seriously don’t know what this smells like, it is so well-blended I can’t say this or that, can’t say I’m anosmic to it since I still can smell it A LOT but just don’t know what it smells like. On top of that, it dries down too masculine for me to like it, I don’t do well with masculine, even unisex scents; i like GIRLY girly scents. Here i am really liking this one. It lasts forever and has nice sillage. Super confusing scent for me that I don’t like it as much as wanting a full bottle, but also would miss it when my vial is gone...

Smells like you've sprayed the entire perfume department at the same time (specifically the Montale/Mancera range, with their frat bra, testicle-shrivelling, supercharged fixatives). Pretty awful. I haven't put it on my skin yet, not sure I can bear to do so, but maybe. It could be better on skin. Update: Yes, on the skin the harsh fixative stench melts away (or I go anosmic to it) and it becomes a sweet Baccarat style nutty scent. Not groundbreaking but quite delicious. However I suspect it'll choke anyone around me. Update: Starts to smell like Alien after 30 mins. Strong, synthetic jasmine with a sort of pungent, ambery soapy musk underneath. It's getting very irritating.

High quality ambery floral fragrance. It’s sophisticated and mature. I find the opening a little too much for my personal taste, although I can appreciate the quality. Definitely one of the better amber-florals on the market. After 1-2 hours the scent bubble becomes very nice, but I still find it at bit to heavy when up close. After a few hours it gets a wee bit of that bubblegummy factor white floral fragrances tend to have, and at this point I’m in love and tempted to buy a full bottle. I probably won’t though, as it is too dark and ambery. If you like ambery florals like Gozo, you might like this one.

This is beautiful but it leans on the masculine side on my skin. It is very well blended and I do not necessarily distinguish between all of the notes in this. It definitely smells tropical-ish but it isn’t your run-of-the-mill sunscreen perfume. It smells warm but not in a cloying or overbearing way. I love that the coconut note isn’t prominent in this fragrance as to me, coconut can cheapen a scent if not well blended. Here, it isn’t the case, thank goodness! All in all, this is a beautiful fragrance I would love to smell on my man!!

A nice musky fruity coconut scent, with touches of dense jasmine, and along with that signature Rosendo Mateu base of amber vanilla and musk. The dew type of green notes add some pleasant freshness to it in the opening which soon get enveloped by soft creamy sandalwood as it dries down, the sweet fruity vibe however is retained throughout. In the last stages, it's just amber Musk sweetness that stays on the skin for quite long. Overall, not entirely unique, but an easy to like, unisex, elegant scent. 7/10

No.6 is fruity, musky, and ambery—totally reminds me of raspberries and champagne. It’s light, inoffensive, and has this delicate vibe. If you’re into intimate scents, it’s pretty nice, but I think Montale Intense Cafe does it better. I’d give it a 7, especially as it dries down and those exotic fruit notes start to settle. It also reminds me of Erba Pura by Xerjoff (Smells like tropical skittles). Overall, it’s fruity gold goodness!

In the opening it is just sweet synthetic musk, same vibe as Rania J Musc Moschus, but this one is better. Then the jasmine really comes thru in the drydown. It's nice, not mindblowing...the jasmine is too overwhelming so, a pass for me

Maybe COVID fucked up my nose, but the Jasmine def overpowers. It’s quite similar to Jean Paul’s Belle but lighter and probably more on the spring daytime/ younger if you follow those things.

Just when I thought I was SICK of musk, this lovely comes along. Quite smooth. A little salty. A little smokey. A little sweet. Very wearable.

The first time I wore this, I really disliked the scent. Really heavy and sharp. But today I tried it again and it is growing on me, I have to say. It's a warm, coconutty, vanilla scent. The opening is a little floral, than in de middle it's still a bit sharp, something synthetic. But in de dry down it's warm and gentle. It's a strong scent. Lasts the whole day and projects well. I'll use up the tester and we shall see if it's full bottle worthy.

Nondescript white florals with a bit of waxiness. I'm not getting much musk from this. Just basically white florals and some waxiness. This reminds me of Mancera's Jardin Exclusif. Jardin Exclusif has a little more greeness to it. Overall, this is it's just meh for me. It feels a bit mature and doesn't really have much definition to me. Smell: 6 out of 10 Longevity: 10 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.

This is almost a love for me but my nose and lungs just don't get on with the aldehydes in the opening. If you're at all sensitive to them, I would not blind buy. The dry down is such a rich and beautiful, creamy jasmine and sandalwood with lots of complexity, I can't stop sniffing my wrist.....maybe I can get over the opening. **Edit, the tough opening never fully disappeared for me, I had to scrub it.

For some reason, even though this is supposed to be really strong, I can't smell it at all on my skin. Weird. It's a vaguely spicy/green jasmine on paper, not indolic/heady at all, and then disappears on my skin. I've sprayed thrice already on the same spot - nothing. Completely anosmic to this...

I tried this in the shop and I loved it. Very well blended, you can feel the jasmin but there are other darker notes. However after an hour on me all the top and middle notes vanished and I was left with a very long lasting musky animalic scent, nothing else. I was so dissapointed as I really liked it at first and bought it... Not a nice surprise for the price

Personally I found this fragrance very linear. To my nose it is pure sandalwood with a hint of jasmine. It didn't change as it developed on my skin and reminds me of a room spray I used to own. I really wished I liked this but I guess it's good for my bank account :D

Eagerly sampled this today and immediately got hit with that "where have I smelt this before?" This is shares very close similarities with sospiro erba pura / accento. It has that recognizable fruity sweetness up top that continues into the drydown with the sweetness still there on top of the infamous synthetic musky base. I love number 5 from this range and found it has similarities with Alexandria II and now it seems sergio's other house isn't safe. If you want a more beastly (albeit) super sweet version of this get al haramain could oud edition and save yourselves some cash. Good scent but been done before

Fruitti coconutty sandalwood Salty fruitti sandalwood with bits of coconut. It has bits of cooling breeze with musk & green notes indeed. Amber yes, but not really jasmines. caramelized amber and vanilla. It's not a creation zero as i believe i have sniffed this blend many times, it's cute tho I just don't know how & why, but this fragrance gives me the vibes of "Silent Hill" game! maybe because i remember i always drink coffee with coffee-mate flavored cream while playing Silent Hill! while this isn't gourmand but it is sweet. Fair.

For me, LOVE. Shines in heat. I don't like florals but I love this one. I'll roll with this any time-any day. It's creamy, smooth, well blended. It's an aura, a vibe. not a screamer , but it floats around me. Lasted all day on clothes. This makes me feel calm. I just love it so much. I got so lucky and bought two bottles For the price of one plus $50. Can't wait.

Gorgeous. My favourite from the brand. Sandalwood dominates on my skin, it’s such a beautiful powdery incensey type of sandalwood that I love. Vanilla is also prominent and creamy rather than cloying. Jasmine here is airy and beautiful. Just a beautiful scent that smells high quality and classic. I feel so elegant when wearing this. A good femenino fragance. The opening came bursting with some jasmine and some fruits, to then just stay on a calming jasmine aldehidic fruity core. It resembles a little bit to la vie et belle in some ways. I wouldn't say its a groundbreaking composition but its a well balanced fragrance.

This reminded me of a less sharp, more feminine version of Royal Sapphire. It was almost fbw until I went to test it again. There must be something in this house’s DNA because I now get that rubber tire smell that I also get from No. 5. Totally ruins the fragrance for me.

Almond, chokingly strong white musk & amber, bunch of generic white florals, hint of beeswax, labdanum and patchouli. Really can't handle these two (No 5 & 6) so far, no elegance. Just overpowering, 'girly' scent profiles. Yuck.

I smell a gasoline, garage note that is prominent. I LOVE it It's flowery, powdery, ambery and quite lovely to wear. It's stunning. Get a decant and enjoy before you buy!

This is a very nice Floral Sandalwood fragrance. It’s nice, but not ground breaking or sexy. Honestly, you can find better for cheaper. Lasting power also moderate.

This kind of leans into the vintage floral . I don’t get ysl libre . I’m just not a huge fan.
