Aeternum

I blind bought this based on the notes and an article I read here that essentially describes this as a thunderstorm with pouring rain on a tin roof, with water dripping off the roof into a bucket of car wash soap. Some are put off by the opening, but I find it very pleasant. It starts off like a mixture of honey dew melon with a bit of cantaloupe. From there it gets ozonic. Although there is a salty and mineralic element, I wouldn't classify it as a salty perfum. Heart notes is more like if of Sarah Baker Atlante had a baby with Creed Erolfa. It's got the rocky jetty element from Atlante, in tandem with the sea spray on a wooden ship element from Erolfa. My only beef with this perfume is I pick up the woody fixative (same one in Atlante) but thankfully, it does not last Into the drydown like Atlante. Into the drydown it becomes more musky, fresh, and ozonic. Not like petrichor per se, but more of the feeling of a clean, non brackish running fresh water, like a river. All and all, it's very wearable in the hugh heat. Even though it's an extrait and highly concentrated, it's clean and fresh in the drydown and doesn't feel heavy, while also still feeling substantial. Performance is good like every other Royal Crown I've tried. You may go nose blind but others will still smell the fresh, clean and ozonic vibe. This hits the mark for my affinity for unique and artistic niche, but also to just plain smell good in public. It's got an annoying fixative but it goes away and the drydown is legit. ----------------------------------------------------- Scent 90/100 Performance 80/100 P.S. Women like this stuff if that is something that matters to you.

The source I was citing has a bottle that she got at Esxence, and indicated to me a late June, early July release. It is unclear if she actually had inside knowledge about the release date or not, I would assume Royal Crown was telling Esxence attendees that a release was imminent (worst case within 3 months of Esxence). For now, the scent remains officially unreleased (at least for the moment). My reviews are quote "long drawn out" because I can actually describe product and how it evolves. Notice I can also speak fluent English (lol). Unlike some other people, I don't d-ride brands/product and claim that everything is 10/10, beautiful, unique etc. Next time just stay salty with your discounter bottle, and keep all that commentary to yourself. If you can't even afford authentic product, who are you criticize my opinions and/or collection?

I don't know of anything that smells like this, so I won't be voting on anything. With that being said, Nocturna & Sea Island are probably the 2 Royal Crown fragrances from where this borrows most of its accords. The underlying scent to me smells like eating melon by the sea - it's a very nice aquatic ambergris scent with a fruity top. Saw somebody say that the melon note is reminiscent of Nishane's Ani X and I agree with that, albeit it's not that prominent in Ani X. Performance on this is atrocious - I'm not sure it gets 2 hours. This is a cute scent to wear to the gym, or to the store that's across the street; otherwise the performance here is too bad to do anything with it.

A major musky aquatic fragrance with added florals. Musky but very well-balanced and sometimes acts ethereal depending on the ambient temperature. It has enough metallic hints that remind me of petrichor or drying cold water on rocks in the summer sun. Otherwise very office safe and extremely pleasant, not overpowering by any stretch. The longevity is slightly above average. Dry down is quite alluring to you and others. To be fair, it is quite suitable for all seasons but a master of the summer.

This is divine. It's fresh, slightly metallic summer rain in a bottle. It's light and airy but performance is actually very good, I've had people ask what I was wearing 8 hours after I applied. This will never leave my summer rotation

In the running to be my favorite aquatic fragrance and I've smelled hundreds! Absolutely love it.

This one is really good. It also evokes a feeling, but unlike Royal Crowns’ Rain which is very masculine, this one is straight up unisex. This evokes a feeling of freshness and cleanliness of air and nature during and after a rain. A soft calmness. I can see how some people can meditate in this fragrance. It is not a safe blind buy, and not for those who like sexy ambers or opulent florals or trendy gourmands. This is for those who like calm clean, but very refined scent. A strong want for me.

Smells like damp BO in the opening. It gets better but not really enough imo.

The most beautiful blue scent I've ever smelled and the biggest waste of money ever. The opening is a blue masterpiece of Godly ambrosiac proportions. Unfortunately it lasts 30 seconds if you're lucky. I don't know if they feared women would be attacking you like a herd of horny female zombies attacking fresh meat in a post apocalyptic society where women out number men a million to one, but that beautiful opening is shorter than most women's responses to my pick up lines. Find a way to make that opening last and be prepared to have more wives than a rich mormon in pre 1890 Utah.

Ambers and musk hang on to the skin for dear life and can be smelled into the next day. Don’t except many white florals from this but it’s nice! This is why I own every bottle of Royal crown! I only need musk Ubar, and Absolute to complete my Royal crown 👑 collection

PS Divinest I left you a picture of my authentic bottle of Royal crown just above 👆 Anyways this is a beautiful marine like aquatic with lots of powdery makeup iris and beautiful woods! Something sweet is also lurking in the background absolutely stunning! It has their signature ambergris accord! I’m also getting a light seaweed accord or absolute ...Mysterious and middle eastern with sandalwood of a high quality in the dry down. Very airy as well. Presentation 10/10 this has a dark twist in the mid and dry down! The bottle fades from black and dark blue to lighter blue at the bottom, and the crown is black. It’s amazing how they make these fresh airy scents that magically go dark! Love it it’s extremely well blended💙 🩵

@Shawn330, the ingredients listed actually have little to do with what is actually in the bottle. It's all just marketing and there is currently a marketing trend of only listing a couple notes. Likely, they are a whole arrange of aromachemicals and naturals that they are not listing. A lot of time the "ingredients" perfumers list aren't even in the formula but are rather a mix of synthetic aromachemicals that smell like certain accords. Ex. There is NO pineapple in aventus, instead it's a mix of three aromachemicals that produce a pineapple-like smell. Also, this fragrance isn't on their website yet but it will be eventually. Tldr; ingredient lists don't actually tell you the real ingredients.

@Divinest... this is available on discounters.... Not bashing your knowledge but I can guarantee more than 200 people have smelled this... you only own 36 niche perfumes? I see a lot of your reviews are also long drawn out and you compare everything to bdk/PDM and you comment under cheap perfumes saying they remind you of Royal Crown ... something is off with you Anyways Aeternum means forever; eternally. I’m expecting this to be long lasting aquatic I have FB on the way and will be back with the real review!

There is something absolutely horrible about this when you first spray it on. But after about 30 mins I can’t stop sniffing where I’ve sprayed it because it’s just that good. It’s crazy!
