Ambrosia

I found Ambrosia for a discounted price at a well known perfumery. Sweet Goodness!! Imagine being at party where everybody over sprayed Dior Feve Delicieuse, Bond 9 New Harlem and MFK Grand Soir. This fragrance is a gourmand treat to those who like very sweet fragrance. It certainly can be sickening sweet if you over spray. This my not be recommended for men but, I am wearing Ambrosia all winter.

This beauty arrived today, of course it was a blind buy. Trying it out for the first time then will post a full review.

This fragrance was the one behind me going back to check "Royal Crown". It's sweetness, fruitiness, and coolness that captivated my senses somehow! Caramel, and dates are the main notes here dipped in honey plum flavor. Mostly the caramel date biscuit in conquering then comes the olibanum, the European style oud, and slight musk to the scene (after 5 minutes) with a styrax! something earthy and not animalic. The caramel dates biscuit then goes dry after being moist and juicy, as it sucks up the honey plums flavor blend like a sponge but goes dry as i begin to smell the Arabian style fig roll. It is a sweet fragrance, to some it could be cloying, but to me (as far as i smell) is quite interesting and deserve to be check out again and again, cause i might have it anytime soon if it proved to be unique as i am feeling it from my sample decant. Edit (13th Aug 2017) I don't know what's with ambrosia! the sweet in here is just too sharp, it makes it quite salty. Maybe it's the melon, or the caramel biscuit that makes it quite sharp and salty, sometimes cloying, but it's not that cheap quality cloying, it's just... i don't know what it is!

To me Ambrosia is warm and cozy fragrance. I do not get any fruitiness or gourmand sweetness. I do get certain sweetness from honey which to me is very prominent along with iris, olibanum, and elemi. This fragrance is masterfully balanced, just like all of the Roya Crown creations. But on my cool skin and clothes it is very intimate and quiet; a kind of sent that one wants to curl up in front of a fire place with a good book or watching TV on a quiet evening off. Because of how warm and cozy it is I would say it’s great for fall and winter days or evenings at home, not a bold going out scent. Unisex leaning feminine.

The fruits in this smell quite realistic in the opening, especially the dates. Then it dies down into a synthetic bomb of sugar and becomes kind of unbearable when sniffed from skin. The scent trail might be nice though. It smells classy and youthful and leans towards the fem side.

This should not be considered as a fragrance. Synthetic, cheap and can't be used as a scent or even a bug repellant! Reminded me when I mistakenly added a sample of some scent to another and that was the outcome. BEWARE!

-Packaged in a flashy bottle made with real Swarovski crystals. -This fragrances gives me strong Arabic vibes. -I picture a jet-setter wearing this...perhaps an elegant lady carrying a Louis Vuitton handbag on her arm, boarding a private jet ...with two bodyguards in tow. -Definitely a fall/winter gourmand. -Cloying to my nose. (How on earth do perfumers manage to make gourmands with fresh notes like this turn cloying??) -Not fbw. (-)

This is fruity and extremely sweet! It has a metallic bite to it, and I absolutely love it! Lots of honey and precious woods up against sharp fruits and metallic musks! Classically middle eastern; and the iris is done perfectly adds an elegant powdered feel. Deeply sweet and rich smelling! Last forever on skin and clothes 10/10

I have House of Oud Dates Delight and was considering getting a decant of this since I've never tried Royal Crown but I noticed DD was up voted as smelling similar to this. Can anyone confirm if this is accurate by private message please? From past experience I find the Reminds Me Of list to not be very accurate. Thx!

This is nice, I was afraid that it would be cloyingly sweet, but its not. To me its a "clean girl" scent, it has something shampooey, but it is the most luxurious shampoo ever. I am selling my partial bottle in EU, if anyone is interested, pm me.
