I just received my first Royal Crown from Perfumery Quality in Warsaw who provided excellent service! Habanos starts out like a nose dive into the snuff box, the tobacco we in Scandinavia call "snus", the deep, dark and sweet smell of raw tobacco, verging on the deliciously dirtier side. It also reminds me of the smell of raisins; this slightly sour/sweet fruity smell with so much aroma going on. But instead of turning overly sweet or vanilla like, it develops into a quite dry and powdery affair, a bit like that old distinguished leather chair or those dusty leather bound books in an old antique library. Gradually the iris and the sandalwood come into play, as well as ambergris and grey musk, adding extra sillage. The bottle is an experience in itself, heavy crystal, and so is the stopper sprinkled with Swarovski crystals. Ever so kitschy, and ever so lusciously luxurious. This makes me curious of the other offerings from this house, this just turns out to be so much more than just pretty bottles. Including the many compliments I get at work for it this is an easy 10 out of 10 from me, a MUST for any tobacco lover, even at the cost of around 450 €... For the afficionado money well spent. The best tobacco scent money can buy!

I've sampled all the men's and unisex scents for this line..... there are 4 that stand out to me. In order from top to bottom, "1" being my favorite. 1) Noor/ Habanos 2) Habanos/ Noor 3) Absolute 4) Tabac Royal Noor and Habanos are at tied form me. Noor has the best longevity and silage. Where as Habanos has moderate longevity and silage. I see an older gentleman or younger gent in his mid 30's with lots of class and mystery wearing habanos. Think cigar aficionado meets the Great Gatsby. If the most interesting man from the Dos Equis beer commercial had niche signature scent, this would be it. Right off the top I get a very harsh, raw whiff of wet tobacco. The tobacco softens with rose and saffron. The sandalwood offers a powered down base. There is also a touch of Burmese oud gently lingering in the background, giving it some dark mystery. As this comes to its final stages it becomes a close skin scent. You're left with a softened airy ambergris, tobacco with a hint of vanilla. There is a catch 22, a little goes a long way during the opening but in the end you're left wanting more as the projection is lacking once it settles down.

I tested both modern and vintage extra dsrk juice. There's something about this powdery, cinnamon, and slightly boozy tobacco that attracts. The tobacco here I get is two fold, moist juicy tobacco and also a tobacco blossom type accord. At first blush it reminded me of Feve Delicieuse (but better, not nearly as sweet) but now I'm getting a Feve and a little bit of Extrait power Versace Dreamer tobacco blossom. There's also a lot in common with the cinnamon and calmus used in Zoologist Musk Deer. This is one that will grow on you over time. I like skanky and raw tobacco like TF Tobacco Oud, Andy Taur Sundowner, Akro Smoke, and Czech and Speake Cuba, but this one is easier to wear, with just enough of the raw, tobacco vibe to keep me interested. I'd say it sits perfectly between hardcore tobacco fragrances I just mentioned, and the easy to wear ones I own like TF Tobacco Vanile, Herod, etc. Every time I wear it feels like an occasion. ----------------‐----------------------‐------Scent 96/100 Performance 90/100

Beautifully pungent authentic naturally sweet spiced dark tobacco that’s Earthy & boozy. The Saffron is really nice & spicy. Almost adding a Cinnamon like nuance. The Ylang Ylang is here for support adding a natural sweetness & mild floral depth to the Tobacco. ...And when the Iris kicks in it becomes very sexy. If you were to take a Holiday Fruitcake & dust it with Cinnamon, Cloves, & Nutmeg. Then layer it with freshly cured Tobacco, & soak the whole thing in Rum, Habanos is what you'd end up with. It smells boozy, spiced, dark, funky, ambry sweet, & extremely concentrated. Tobacco frags like Habanos, Slumberhouse's Jeke, & Pineward Perfum's Treacle remind me of Cavendish style Tobacco. Performance is great. It’s not a beast but it lasts over 8 hours on skin & just over a day on clothes with above average projection & silage. Don’t be put off by reviews. Habanos is a stellar Tobacco fragrance, & I’m surprised this fragrance isn’t in anyone’s Top Tobacco fragrances.

진정한 타바코 향을 찾고 있다면 바로 이 향이다. 적절한 가격에 구할수만 있다면 지금까지 언급된 타바코 향수들 중에서는 단연 원탑이라고 할 수 있다 잘 말려서 말아만든 시가의 향이 처음부터 끝까지 힘을 가지고 발산한다. 첫향은 시가를 태우는듯한 향이 강하게 치고 들어온다. 조금 시간이 지나면 시가를 태우다가 가만히 올려놓고, 천천히 시가를 들고 향을 음미하는 향이 느껴진다. 한시간 정도 후 부터는 시가는 내려놓고 은은한 향을 느끼며 체리와 바닐라가 첨가된 칵테일을 한잔 하는 느낌이다. 강렬한 타바코향은 날아가고 은은한 부드러움을 발산한다. 한줄로 요약하자면 마치 시가바에서 시가를 태우며 체리가 들어간 칵테일을 한잔 하고있는듯한 느낌이다.

I am a cigar enthusiast and this literally smells like opening up my Cuban humidor. Sweet, syrupy tobacco - somewhere between a rootbeer and maple syrup - and cedar with just a light tinge of barnyard.

It is a very dusty tobacco scent. Strong performance and projection. It comes with fancy packaging and presentation.

I got to try this by mistake. I ordered another fragrance and got this instead. It is nice, very nice for late fall and winter. A unisex leaning masculine. I get nice rich tobacco, lots of honey, and iris. I am keeping it as a sign that it was meant to be. Not a warm weather scent and not for ladies who prefer feminine florals.

This one is for tobacco lovers. Starts off with a dusky, woody tobacco. In the background, I get an amaretto accord. Performance is good but not beast mode.

Lol. Not even. Baby powder with the slightest tinge of designer tobacco. The price makes this absolutely laughable. In fact, I suspect this entire house is a money grab. Don't bite. Royal Crown whiskey is great, Royal Crown fragrance (no relation I'm sure) is not.

This is the sort of new age 'synth niche' fragrance that I do not care for. The bottle is robust and nice, but is compromised by a tacky cap that's borderline hilarious, resembling a crown that belongs to some pompous king. I understand that that's perhaps the mojo and motto of Royal Crown, but it's over the top and rather ridiculous. Now to the fragrance, it has a large dose of saffron initially. Saffron is not a note I like, especially when the use is heavy-handed. There is a thick, honeyed, resinous tobacco accord with a shrill sweetness. The tobacco is closer to cherry pipe tobacco rather than leaves. The tobacco, however, is almost overwhelmed by a thick wall of notes that is rather jarring. The dry down is a little vanillic. While Habanos has consistent low sillage, it possesses excellent duration of at least ten hours on skin. However, there is not much transformation over the hours. Additionally, it never smells that compelling, or simply 'good'; it appears clumsy and clunky, and eventually a bit cheap as well, which is shocking considering the price tag. There is a richness, but it is gaudy rather than refined or elegant. During the mid phase, there are also some floral elements, when one finds a vague connection to The Dreamer by Versace. I'd much rather wear The Dreamer than this, which is more rarefied yet substantial, compelling, and a whole lot more fun. Habanos might probably appeal to someone who would want a less sweet version of Tobacco Vanille. However, the first half of Tobacco Vanille showcases a complex, layered tobacco accord which is head and shoulders above anything I smell in Habanos. Additionally, there are already several other fragrances around the 'sweet tobacco' idea of Tobacco Vanille, that present different refinements and interpretation of that idea. As for authentic and hardcore non-aromatic tobacco fragrances with warmth and a touch of sweetness, Habanos cannot hold a candle to something like Acqua di Cuba or the now-discontinued Tabacco by Odori. 1.5/5 (negative)

Habanos absolutely belongs in any serious conversation about tobacco fragrances. This is tobacco in its purest, most unapologetic form - rich, dense, and bold to the point of being polarizing. The opening throws in a sharp burst that cuts through the density, but it doesn’t last long. Within 15 minutes, it settles into something darker, smoother, and more traditionally masculine. Compared to other tobacco fragrances, Habanos is heavier, louder, and less refined in its behaviour. it starts off loud, almost sharp and a bit chaotic, before pulling itself together into a more cohesive blend that never really calms down. The tobacco remains front and center the entire time. The tobacco itself leans toward an Irish pipe tobaco style, enriched by a noticeable vanilla sweetness rather than honey. Saffron adds a dry, leathery edge, while amber and woods give it warmth and structure. A creamy sandalwood base smooths things out more than you’d expect, keeping it from becoming overly dry. Then there is the animalic, slightly dirty edge that’s going to split opinions instantly. For some, it adds depth and character. For others, it’s where the fragrance crosses the line. Performance is no joke. Strong projection, long-lasting, and never subtle. This is not something you wear lightly or blindly. Overall, Habanos is bold, masculine, and best suited for colder weather. It’s not the best tobacco fragrance ever made, but it’s easily one of the most distinctive. That said, it’s not for everyone. This is a love-it-or-hate-it kind of scent. If you’re into big, complex tobacco fragrances, it’s a standout. If you’re not, it’ll probably feel overwhelming or even unpleasant. Beyond the notes, though, there’s a certain presence to it. It wears warm, resinous, and rugged, with something darker underneath. Less about smelling nice, more about making a statement.

Own, because I'm a tobacco aficionado, albeit quite pricey for what you can acquire within this hobby, and is regarded more as a "flex" than an actual occasional indulgence. Performance and silliage are to be desired given pretext into what a tobacco hobbyist interprets within it's namesake, speaking from my own experience, this is more of a socially acceptable tobacco leaning unisex than -- what some others may consider, 'a whiff of a humidor' -- more of an artform floral tobacco. I would sample before you buy, because I am coming to realize quite quickly that the window of what qualifies as a tobacco fragrance varies from one perfumer's context to the next, and is open to subjective interpretation via comparisons of experience; however, the tobacco is realized and centerpiece as I would consider "lightly" the theme of the scent throughout the notable silliage. This opens tobacco, becomes lightly floral, ambergris/salty and indiscriminately sweet (floral mixes + ambergris + musks + soft tobacco to my nose = sweet?), then becoming more safron/tobacco + musk/ambergris, I get vanilla and light vetiver to spice up, and attempt to undulate the tobacco nuances towards the drydown. Not indolic flowery, there is iris making this prominantly unisex leaning masculine by association, I gather. This is what I would expect someone to consider a tobaccoesque fragrance if they were not into experiences similarly all too abrasive; or, perhaps, would be an item more closely aligned to someone often appreciating an artistic interpretation as to what "tobacco" could be catching whiffs of the close crop from a sunroom biome with greenery and flowers effervescent, with some type of added pompous sophistry and regal imagery. 7/10 at best, is one that I would only occasionally reach for with tobacco in mind.

The top note screams thyme and olive oil! that smell i remember EXACTLY when we were kids and my mum fed us that delicious combination with plain white bread! it is quite a delicious and nutritious mix. Second stage (after few minutes - 2 to 3 minutes) it remains oily but with harsh tobacco & "maybe" hints of saffron! and no signs of vanilla or sweetness. 3rd stage (3 to 6 minutes) the sweetness steps forward shyly but the tobacco remains harsh and raw as the sweetness comes from vanilla and honey and softens with tuberose to give it a milky effect somehow. Later on, i don't know wither if it's the liquid's color, the brown crown, or just my imagination! i begin to smell some chocolate note! or maybe it's the mix of ambergris and patchouli with the help of honey! i had the same feeling when i sampled "Habanos" twice before this time and i thought it was just my imagination reflecting from looking at this juice's color but i believe it's not, i am surely sniffing some kind of chocolate in here and now i am absolutely sure it's the patchouli with the help of honey (kind of similar to chocolate note in "Horizon" by Oriza). Eventually, the harsh tobacco gives that THYME impression somehow as so as the juice remained slightly itty bitty oily, while the whole combination is slightly sweetened honey harsh tobacco with some chocolate traces. It's weird, confusing, yet interesting but too overpriced. I just wish they do have 30 ml with the same bottle shape, by then i might consider having one cause in my opinion 100 ml of a fragrance in general is just too much. Edit (25th July 2017) After reviewing "Issara" by Parfums Dusita today i just came back to Habanos and i found it truly similar to "Habanos" as Habanos was stronger than Issara & quite more masculine than Issara

The controversial Habanos da RC for many the best tobacco perfume in the world, for others a fetid perfume due to a powerful steaming dark rope smoke and the relentless 'Oud De Burma. For me Habanos is not a fetid perfume nor is it the best tobacco in perfumery in my opinion and for my personal taste. It is a Spicy Amber Tobacco Woody Men's perfume. On the other hand, and controversies, the part for me is among one of the best tobacco perfumes with 'oud that I have ever tried. Habano behaved on my skin to my sense of smell with a powerful outlet, shrill and confused, but quickly, in about 15 minutes +or- it was adjusting and settling on the skin, but without cooling down, it's a bomb! A light, barely noticeable floral heart. I obviously took a lot of tobacco but for me because of the vanilla it reminded me of that strong Irish pipe tobacco, I also took spices with emphasis on a very leathery saffron and a sweet facet provided by amber and especially a lot of vanilla ... Here it is another fragrance, sweet tobacco, but instead of honey, here it is vanilla, the company of tobacco from start to finish. And it was very clear to me also a very soft sandalwood giving a lot of creaminess to the composition that to the collective imagination is imagined to be an extremely dry perfume [It is not!], the 'oud used in Habanos is the Burmese with a very strong animalic/stable aspect. In summary, I found the perfume very tasty, very masculine and only for cold temperatures like today.

The very first review is the reason why I have my bottle! The first spray on my nose is intense tobacco, deep, dark, a little sweet, it is a beautiful, almost unadulterated tobacco. As Royal Crown continues to develop, the tobacco turns more elegant it is taking shape, it is still brown, it is richer, deep, faintly sweet enveloped by light dusting of spices, the saffron offers a touch of earthiness, the oud is the most refined, a little animalic, and has been smoothed and the iris softens it a little bit. There is a tiny hint of vetiver underneath the tobacco. I fell in love because it reminds me of my grandfather in his chair with his cheap, homemade, tin humidor next to him, he is sipping a little bit of whiskey or brandy from his flask. The fragrance showcases the tobacco and the tobacco accord is accented gently by vanilla and saffron blended on a supportive base of sandalwood and ambergris. The ambergris is stealthy yet noticeable. Tobacco teases my nose for a few hours, sillage is beautiful for a few hours eventually it softens and the longevity is good for about 6 hours, I believe. "Someone's wearing dirty socks while eating vanilla dessert in a nightclub ." That came to my mind right after spraying it on my skin. I was assaulted by the powdery sweet vanilla with loud, stingy, salty ambergris / oud opening. (This really means something as I am used to barnyard oud oils). Strangely I did not pick up tobacco note at all. Instead, I got some boozy accord which is not listed. A touch of iris was there but was deeply buried under a pile of dirty socks. After this very interesting first phrase, the perfume settled to a "gourmet-ish" drydown with iris, some sandalwood, an undercurrent of galbanum, not-so-sweet vanilla. And.. chocolate too, which probably from patchouli. I really like this part. Will test a few more times to form a concrete opinion and hope to get tobacco eventually. Habanos Royal Crown This is one of the best tobacco scents i ever seen, with very high quality natural components , Habanos is all about natural tobacco smell , You will not find any ashy smell here but very creamy tobacco smell with dark chocolaty cherry smell , addictive smell 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 Tobacco is there from the start to the end with little change after 5 minutes , slower transition will give it a linear way but here it is good to be linear as it is heavenly smell from the start to the end , the performance is very good with moderate projection & very good longevity 🌹🚬🌹 Habanos Royal Crown من افضل عطور التبغ على الاطلاق...مختلف تماما عن كلً عطور التوباكو المدخنه و المكرره ...نوته تبغ طبيعى ممزوج بشكولاته داكنه مع لمحات من الكرز و نوته بودريه خفيفه ...الاداء رائع و العطر استثنائى ...🌹🫶🏻🌹

A sweet tobacco that smells like candied raisins in the opening to me. A unique take on the tobacco craze IMO. The florals come out in the middle and it smells very natural and well blended. Edit: I ended up getting a bottle of this. The natural florals in the background of the this make it incredibly vibrant. It’s sweet and rich but smells very natural. It is the best tobacco you can buy IMO. Like you grabbed a handful of tobacco blossoms in one hand and fresh bagged pipe tobacco in another and shoved them into your face. It’s not tobacco vanille or Naxos, so if you want something in that vein this isn’t it.

Come to think of it, after spending more time with this, the sweetness on here is like the one in mugler pure tonka which had a warm cocoa powdered cookie essence to it. No wonder I like it so much. You get some Dior Feve D in here as well! Addicting!

One of my favorite from Royal Crown tons of natural tobacco went into the making of this beauty! With tons of natural iris. Saffron and patchouli keep it regal, while their classic ambergris accord anchors it to the skin. It’s a love for me!

scent 10 longevity 9 sillage 8 price 6 overall 9 notes: best tobacco scent on the market has a slight cola vibe and powderness this isnt a dry ashy tobacco this is a juicy leaf

This is the same smell of their other offering, Tabac Royale, but with better longevity and more stainful presence on clothing. If you like that try this instead.

This is overly powdery on me and certainly no where close to TF's TV and or Tabac Doré. This is not that great of a tobacco scent. End of story.
