Khan

This one is a keeper for sure. It's the second Royal Crown fragrance that I smelled and immediately had to find a good deal on a bottle. Out of this one and Sultan, I prefer Sultan simply because it's more my style of fragrance, but for warmer weather this takes the Oud Wood/Carved Oud scent profile I love and just flat out knocks it out of the park!!! It's much better blended, smoother in profile and still maintains far superior performance to either of those which seems impossible and yet it pulls it off with ease. I have to say, out of my most expensive MFK Extraits, Amouge Extraits like Reflection 45 and Clive Christian fragrances, Royal Crown easily wins in quality of juice and presentation. There are some clone houses like French Avenue that have matched or even surpassed niche brands in presentation, but the juice quality is designer level. Only Royal Crown and Xerjoff have such nice presentations, but Xerjoff is only slightly above designer level in juice quality while Royal Crown far surpasses all other brands I've tried, including Roja Dove and Fragrance Du Bois. So if you haven't tried this house, Kahn and Sultan would be my recommendations on where to start. I can't wait to try much more from the brand as I doubt I'll be disappointed.

I did end up buying a big bottle of this after receiving my Beverly Hills Perfumery sample. Awhile back I received like 10 different samples from Arabian Oud house, and there is a couple of Arabian Oud offerings that are very close to this Khan scent profile. And obviously these offerings would be considerably cheaper, unfortunately I did sell those samples, I wish I didn't, and really I don't even know the names lol. So when I first smelled Khan, it instantly brought me back to those Arabian Oud samples. Khan has exceptional projection and longevity... It's absolutely worth its niche costs in those regards. If it's the guac wood I'm smelling, then it's the most well done I've smelled - doesn't smell like a damp forest floor. This smells to me like Persian Royalty lol. It does get slightly powdery, but stays in the Unisex territory for most of its ride. I would have to say it would lean masculine, if I was forced to choose. After having this in my collection I'm sure I'll be trying more from Royal Crown, and my bank account will be like 😫

Oh la la! Damn! This is good. This is going to be my signature scent. Definitely worth buying a full bottle. You can’t tell me nada when I spray this. Geezzz... this is Arab money scent. Gorgeous, sexy, intoxicating: this is how I’ll describe this. I’m getting a whiff of vanilla and honey on my skin. Can I say I’m already obsessed with this scent? This is what I’ll wear when I dress sexy. This is my favorite from this brand

Khan is one of my favorites from the Royal Crown. It opens rather masculine, but the more time passes the more unisex it becomes. The dry down may even be leaning feminine. Khan does remind me of the bewitching beauty of Torres del Paine or Altai. A love for me.

A very potent fresh woody masculine Oriental this is a nice offering from Royal Crown. The perfume opens with notes of pink peppercorn, guaiac wood and neroli. The heart is a strong palisander rosewood with hints of saffron and Oud. The perfume settles on a powdery patchouli bed with Vetiver and sandalwood. Masculine leaning with pronounced sillage and projection and lasts forever. Those who are interested in masculine freshies that are still distinctive need to check it out. Enjoy!
