Interesting that nobody has been here for damn near 2.5 years. 3 reviews in total, each spaced out ~2 years a piece. Scent is actually good, should probably get more attention. So I've smelled profiles like this before and this is not for newbies (like the reviewer below literally comparing this to s**t lol). The #1 brand that does this type of amber-balsamic profile really well is Carner Barcelona. If you smell Botafumeiro, if you smell Megalium, those are eerily similar scents to this, say 85-90%. For those that have tried Amouage's Boundless, amp down the amber and sweet aspects while adding woody-balsamic ones, you get something around 80%. If you think about balsamic/medicinal vanilla gourmands like Royal Crown's Sultan and Initio's Absolute Aphrodisiac, RC's Noor brings the sweet tones down considerably and brings on additional warm spicy ones. I like the Carner comparisons the most. In terms of profile, this has a resinous middle-eastern vibe and a slight tad of sweetness. I actually put it on and got olfactory fatigue within 10 seconds. Had to move around to notice that this is absolutely room-filling. Warm spices clearly driven by the saffron-elemi top. Vanilla adds some sweetness, floral notes are almost invisible. Patchouli doesn't pop either - there's no earthiness or greenness to the fragrance. There's just the amber, the spices, the moderate sweetness, and the wood. Wouldn't say the tobacco is visible either. A lot of the notes, to me, are for blend quality. This is not a scent that you keep sniffing on yourself in my opinion - at some point, your nose becomes accustomed to the spiciness wafting around you. While you'll barely smell it, others certainly will. I'm not entirely sure yet about longevity, a lot of the Royal Crown's that I've tried fall between 7 and 12 hours. Very rarely will the scents go north of 12h. I think Ytzma did, but that's more of an outlier. On clothes, Royal Crown typically goes for 2-4 days. I'd say this is priced okay - Noor is €455 for 100ml, comparable in price to the extraits line from Amouage. You can definitely get this profile in similar form for cheaper (100ml for Carner's Botafumeiro is €160), you're mainly paying for the quality of components and the packaging on this. Strictly fall-winter, but I get people saying only winter; probably night only. I'd say masculine only.

Noor is stunning, a must try for all of the amber lovers. This is sweet, transparent, golden amber with saffron. A little bit of rose, a little bit balsamic, now I understand why this is so difficult to find. This is not heavy, slightly bitter dark amber. No. Noor is warm and golden, like the evening sun in the south of France. I want a bottle of this.

Superb quality ingredients and blending. Warm amber with sizzling patchouli and sweet vanilla. It reminds me somewhat of Tauer's Au Coeur du Desert but with additional patchouli.

Noor is labeled as a unisex on the Royal Crown site but on fragrantica is labeled for women. I personally think this is more of a unisex-masculine scent. The projection and sillage are by far, bar none. This scent doesn't really evolve. What you smell at the opening is what you smell in end. Q80's review is spot on "powdery patchouli". Bottom line, I think this is a work of art, every note blends beautifully together. Nothing more annoying than a scent with an awesome opening that later transitions into a terrible dry down. The quality of Noor is outstanding. This scent isn't earth shattering by any means but it's notes are as pure as the driven snow. You will smell like vintage quality. People will want to know what you're wearing but they'll be hard pressed to match it's character and quality at a cheaper price tag.

The magic is in the powdery, golden amber dry down. Beautifully blended, rich and refined, stunning.

This is not a good blind buy. I apologize to anyone who loves and understands this fragrance. It just isn't for me. My taste are perhaps not sophisticated enough for Noor. Thankfully I only bought a small carded sample because this was a scrubber for me. After washing my wrist and hands twice I still imagined I can smell it on my wrist. I am mortified to say that it smells like urine and dog feces on my skin but it does. I am not trying to be disgusting but the fecal smell was a dead ringer for the clay like smelling feces of a dog who only eats hard kibble. It has many notes that I have never isolated and can point out or name most of them resins and balsams like Olibanam, Elemi, Gurjam balsam and even Styrax which I probably should know but I don't. The notes I do know were lost under the resins so I can comment on them either. I rarely have such a sickening reaction to a perfume. I couldn't scrub it off fast enough so I didn't get to the middle notes or dry down where the fragrance might improve. Those top notes just finished me off. I highly recommend sampling this before buying. It isn't for everyone. Some people really love the strange and I think those people might enjoy Noor. My taste are probably a bit too mainstream to enjoy this one.

Noor is an arabic word which means light... This is a very refined & classy creation done & blended carefully to take you in a journey of attraction, seduction, & elegance..... It is oriental floral little powdery...starts with spicy fresh herbal opening dominated with the resinous elemi note ( balsamic & lemony ) with little powdery undertones...within 30 min a heart of patchouli mixed with creamy vanilla appears with little powdery floral vibes...very smooth and highly refined.... It continues to evolve into amber, woody dry down on a slightly powdery vanillc background... It is soft, warm, deep, dark & elegant elixir...filled with a lot of natural smoothly blended notes... Noor, hmm what can I say... this is a beautiful patchouli scent from my favorite house, scratch any florals it mentions here because the naturals in this are so heavily dosed it drowns out any hopes of smelling anything floral. I see Divinest is at it again comparing Royal crown to sh*t houses lol! Anyways this is middle eastern, incensey, unique, and regal scent. Has their classic ambergris accord that I absolutely adore! I wish they made all their perfumes as packed full of naturals as this one is. This is a patchouli centered fragrance with lots of heavy incense, and aromatic naturals. Enough said ps this perfume does not have an olive cap... it has a blackish brown crown

Oh my... powdery patchouli with floral notes, an artistic blend that fits the masterpiece bottle. amazingly blended with passion. it doesn't have the ambergris stink but quite strong to rise. never common, but kind of risky. it has that dusty mild sweet essence with some sort of dark factor that strikes from second to another upon it's happy sweet effect! kind of wierd feeling sniffing this amazing bottle but very blessing. btw this fragrance has the olive color crown and not red.

This is Old World elegance bottled. I imagine a woman in the 1940s wearing this to the bar. She has on a wool pencil skirt and a fur coat. Her hair is pinned up with a fascinators hat placed gently on top. Its heavy, dense and projects to the heavens.

Once you let it sit and macerate for a long time it turns into this most beautiful Golden ethereal powdery amber. This stuff is to die for!!!
