XVII Patchouli Secret

I met the team from RPL at Esxence 2019. Rupert (Owner of the brand), Suzi, Elena. Such lovely people. They complimented me with some samples. For that, I am grateful. Among them, Patchouli Secret. This is just such a beautiful elegant scent. My god, I was wearing this today, and excuse me for the cliché, but I could not stop smelling at myself. I was in a meeting and I could smell the scent coming from my clothes. Such and elegant and comforting scent this is. Do not; again, do not be fooled by the opening. It is harsh and the black pepper is present behind an amazing balance of bergamot and Patchouli. This is all about patchouli, dancing with what I thik is a dance for all. After dancing with the Bergamot and pepper, it would continue the dance with Violet. If I recall my chat with Rupert right, he wanted to accomplish a balance of the notes in every phase. It is now 30 minutes and in the dry down the dance/balance continues. It does not make these perfumes linear at all. It is no boring at all. It is very unique.

Very nice scent. It really has nothing to do with patchouli. It's a love affair between violet and tobacco. It's not loud but it does linger. The longevity is over 8 hours! I got lucky and snagged this from ebay. This seems like a very rare fragrance so I don't know. .....But I do know that this has nothing to do with Creed Royal Oud!
