Notturno

i’ve been SO excited because love tuberose is one of my favorite scents ever!!!! notturno is a beautiful tuberose scent with some similarities to amouage love tuberose, though definitely not a dupe. love tuberose is softer, creamier and more airy, whereas notturno opens stronger and more assertive. i also get a slight sunscreen-like nuance in the opening interestingly, the drydown is much closer to what i was hoping for. as it settles, i get more of that soft, creamy tuberose aura, especially when catching it in the air rather than smelling my skin directly. i still wish it had the fluffiness and creaminess of love tuberose, but i really enjoy it overall. i will be saving up for love tuberose though as this doesn’t fully satisfy my “craving” ♡🌼 UPDATE: after 40 minutes i can now confidently say that it does smell a lot like love tuberose!!! way more than in the beginning, but mostly when you aren’t sniffing your skin directly as mentioned earlier. i had sprayed it on my left arm and i keep smelling it while holding my phone!!

I read somewhere it is a clone of Amouage's Love Tuberose. Unfortunately I haven't smelled Amouage so can't compare. Notturno is a sweet, narcotic but well balanced tuberose with gardenia. Tuberose is not too powdery or mature here and gardenia not too nauseating. Both complement each other, residing on a very creamy, lactonic base. In the end the result is a very modern, feminine and elegant fragrance, utterly versatile. It's obviously sweet and dense on flowers, headache inducing when oversprayed or sniffed very close to skin. However, the cloud of scent around a person wearing it is gorgeous. In my country the standard price is around 50-60 EUR which is insanely good for the performance and quality inside.

I have to thank @Madyana below. After becoming disappointed with recent batches of Amouage "Love Tuberose," I decided to troll around for an alternative but very similar fragrance. Notturno is 1000% "Love Tuberose." This perfume is a creamy, lactonic, perfectly sweetened and well-blended tuberose fragrance. The opening is cream & tuberose. The dry down and base are creamy sandalwood & cedar with a moderate tuberose flower presence. The tuberose performs well, start to finish. Love it! So happy I procured a 100ml bottle at a great price!!

I have been dying to buy amouage, however it is so so expensive. After reading the comment section i decided to purchase rua29. I must say i loooove it! It is tuberose dominant so for anyone who hates tuberose i strongly advise against it. In my opinion the tuberose stays prominent throughout the entire development unlike amouage's love tuberose where i couldn't detect it after half an hour (only vanilla and a bit of cream). It is so worth it, i bought the bottle for 40 euros. Love tuberose, but way way better.

I am a big fan of white flowers; I have several Tuberoses, a few Jasmines and some Gardenias too. Yet none of them were like Love Tuberose. Not before this. 💘 finally.

Bought with 20 dollars, strong perfume, not a safe buy if you don't like tuberose. Beast mode.
