Jaune

Great for layering, but not worth the price as a standalone fragrance. And I wouldn’t advise a fragrance at this price point as a layering frgrance. As you would imagine with the description of the scent profile, Jaune is quite a pedestrian blend. In fact, it is adjacent to Mica D'Oro. I was on the fence about ordering this because of its common profile and similarity to Mica D'Oro, which is a delightful gourmand. I do enjoy them both. Mica D'Oro is more interesting, while Jaune is more complex. It’s nice to have, but definitely not worth the price tag. Lovely Patchouli 55 Night is a preferable gourmand vanilla, but does not have the same creaminess. If my opinion changes, I’ll be sure to update, but given the price of the fragrance, compounded with my preference to layer it with another speaks for itself.

What a delicious perfume! It really is like being in a Venice garden on a sunny day, blue skies, delicious fresh floral aromas intertwined with a slight trace of sour sweetness that evokes a feeling of playful happiness. A yellow, luminous and beautiful floral freshness with high projection that unfolds on a woody, musky vanilla base. It is youthful and modern, at the same time as it has a classic side and a spicy oriental warmth, where everything was placed in order to arrive at a construction that is not heavy, resulting in an interesting fragrance, which mixes contrasts between freshness and heat, like rays. Bright suns landing over the garden, reflecting their light on the dewy rose petals and then escaping to land on the wooden bark on the already warm ground. This perfume makes me happy. One of my few blinds and this one was a hit. Good thing because its cost is high.
