Pride Pour Homme

This is a really classy smelling cheapie. Purchased to make up an order for free shipping, but very surprised by how good this is. It's fresh and clean and leans men of 35 upwards, not ultra casual but versatile for most situations other than maybe really hot summer days. Definitely work place safe/semi formal function. I'd say it was on the blue end with a slight hint of shaving cream in the background . Whilst it doesn't smell like it, it's a similar zone of fragrance to something like YSL L'L'Homme le Parfum in my collection and id group it in that genre. Obviously that's £100 bottle and this is £20 or under, but it smells equally as classy and well put together. Nice simple classy looking bottle and good atomiser. Blind buy safe.

I like this fragrance, I really want to love it, but sadly it doesn't last much on me (maybe I go anosmic to it). EDIT 05/02/23: Okay, I tested it today, and this stuff LASTS and is strong, 4 hours after applying it my friend comes by and says "Woah, is this super strong perfume yours?", I could faintly smell it even after 7-8 hours, I believe I really just go anosmic to it.

Its a mix of YSL and Wanted by Night. It similar to wanted by night on the mid phase with less cinnamon. Totally agree if ppl said this is a blue version of wanted by night. Sillage moderate, Longevity moderate also. On my skin it lasts around 4-5hrs. Projects well on the first hour. Syntethic? kind of, but im ok w that bcs of the prize. Overall score is 8/10 for me

Its great . in short its mix of ysl le parfum and most wanted.very good longevity 7+ hour and clean .every collector need this in their collection in my opinion ........ solid 8/10 for me

Wow what a cologne. Smells marvelous.i highly recommend. Not expensive at all. Easy blind buy.

#966 in my "Tour de Fragrance" The whole Rue Broca line is kind of an enigma. Seems like two out of three are fine and one out of three they just weren't trying, and all are somewhere between EDT and EDP in performance. So you do want to pay attention to the ratings. In general I avoid scents with less than a 4.00 rating because users here are more forgiving than I am, especially when it comes to performance. But there have been occasions where I've dipped down to scents in the 3.7 range and been pleasantly surprised. In most cases that's because I prefer certain notes more than the general population. My tastes are leaning more oriental over time, minus all the rose, and I especially like incense, which is off-putting for some, like traumatized former Catholics. But this scent is very mainstream. This was rated just above 4.00 when I put it on my list, but has since fallen lower. I think that's because were all getting bored of this way overdone note combination. If you have anything that could be called a scent "collection" you have at least a half dozen scents exactly like this. English Laundry Crown, English Laundry Windsor, Rumz Al Rasasi 9459, Boss Number One, and on and on. The reason the "reminds me of" list is so long is because this note combination is everywhere, and if you take out the apple the list quintuples. And don't get me wrong, this is a nice scent at a great price with acceptable performance for what you're paying, but if you have more than a dozen scents on the shelf chances are one of them is pretty much the same as this, so check the notes. The most expensive rookie mistake I've made with my collection is buying redundant scents that brought nothing new to my shelves when I could have been more adventurous. That said, if you're just starting out on your fragrance journey this is absolutely a safe blind buy, though not particularly memorable nor communicative of any style. No one will dislike this or be offended by it in any venue. It's a nice scent. Moderate performance (just makes it to lunch). Fine for the car pool, elevator, tight spaces. More men's wear, but not especially masculine. Business wear or date wear. Any age group. Great price. But this one goes in the Christmas box for the men's shelter. I have enough of this type of scent to last several lifetimes. And BTW, I have Azzaro "Wanted by Night" and I'm wearing it now. Rue Broca "Pride" is not a dupe of "Wanted by Night." Not even close. No tobacco, no cinnamon, no incense, no citrus. Have you people even smelled "Wanted by Night?" So much better than this and not remotely similar.

Could have been Creed's Nautica Voyage. Everyone's comparisons are somewhat far off with this. This is a green leaning watermelon apple aquatic shampoo/soapy smelling scent that is linear like a sharp knifes edge. There was a slightly more noticeable ethyl maltol bubblegum scent when I bought this a year ago, but that's toned down and it's just this melon/apple aquatic soap with a slight hint of honey from the crystal amber in the dry down. My bottle seemed to tone down on the ethyl maltol and crystal amber, or maybe it's the season you wear it in where that stuff pops up more or less. It's a rather bracingly fresh aquatic ultimately. Has more in common with Nautica Voyage than almost everything everyone's been mentioning lol. I still really like the fruity top a lot. It's a super fun playful scent to my nose. It used to be beast mode and now it seems a bit tame, but still strong yet soft. Don't go too heavy on the sprays though, that amber will choke you out. NOTICE: What's good about this juice is how long it lasts and magically holds the apple note for what feels like hours and hours and hours. It just doesn't seem like a scent like this should last things long, and rarely does with others in a similar vein. The same strength I get from Theoreme is what I get from this. ADDENDUM: Since I got Nitro Red from Dumont, that scent heavily reminded me of this scent and now I'm playing a bit of a game going back and forth with them. They both have some serious strength, Nitro Red just has a more attention grabbing profile I believe. Both have very good longevity.

This perfume is far from woody or earthy. The apple and its sweetness are clearly felt from beginning to end. Then, a hint of musk and lavender also emerges. It's a fruity, sweet, and versatile everyday perfume suitable for all four seasons. It would generally go well with everyday outfits. I definitely don't think it's suitable for a woody scent. It's fruity and sweet. It's suitable for general tastes.

This is a really good scent. I personally don't get any woody note on this, but I do get the sweet lavender/apple opening. good performance also. Lasts really long on both cloth and skin, and has impressive sillage. Overall, this is a safe blind buy.

I let this macerate for a while. Now, it's much nicer, the apple note is more pronounced and overall, it's a really nice smooth fruity amber. This reminds me of Azzaro Onyx a little. Pride is really good and great value.

A woody/apple/amber perfume with a good all round performance. Reminds me of Only the Brave Tattoo a bit, which is nicer. Good price point though. It's a nice perfume.

Amazing fragrance for the price it smells extremely expensive and Can be worn all year around

Confused with this one, I can't seem to make up my mind if I like it or not. Starts off ambery fresh with prominent grapefruit and earthy patchouli, but shortly after a few mintues it somehow gives off "jackfruit" (no, not pineapple but jackfruit itself) vibe to my nose, which is quite offputting if smelt upclose, smells fine in the air though. This jackfruit tone is my biggest gripe in the scent profile; besides the scent is not really smooth (in any aspect) and smells a little cheap; maybe the entire thing has got something to do with my skin chemistry. Once settled, the dry-down has a powdery lavender and cumin note, which I appreciate; but by this time all the freshness is dissipated and I personally would not recommend it for summer. Performance seems to be above average. Simple and solid presentation with good atomizer. Definitely NOT one of my better blind buys, so if you are on the fence with this one, I would suggest a pass.

basic blue fragrance with terrible performance. the longevity is about 3-4 hours and very weak projection. i sprayed 10+ times around my neck and i barely smell the whiff and the scent bubble. on the same price points, there are many better options when it comes to performance. i fell for the hype from some reviewers and kinda regret blindbuy this mid fragrance scent 7/10 longevity 3/10 projection 2/10

the longevity only 2-3 hours on me, but it was perfect to the gym, its a good value 18$ for 100ml

I think these notes are not exactly more like Pride intense. I bought this juice from Notino and I saw different description and notes and I can feel more like cinnamon-ambery, it's not a fresh scent... The notes are: Grapefruit, cinnamon, patchouli, leather, amber, woody and spicy notes I didn't like the smell, because on my skin it reminds me of Rasasi Daarej, it was too dense and not my type. I sold to my friend, on him Pride is more masculine and projects better than on me.😁

This is the worse fragrance that I've ever buy ... I don't like it at all and to my nose it's total opposite of Azzaro wanted by night Worst fragrance in my collection I will sale it .

Total blind buy in every way, never heard of Rue Broca, got it cheap from Fragrance net to hit the free shipping level of an order. Wow, much to my surprise after some research after I bought it, I learn Rue Broca is a division of Afnan, to which I was delighted since they know what they're doing. First impression, the bottle, has all the heft and weight as an Armaf Club De Nuit bottle - you know how those are like bricks, right?. Surprised me. The opening: A mashup of First Instinct Together & Azzaro Wanted By Night - no sh*#. Pleasantly surprised. The dry down for me smooths out to a mashup of First Instinct Together & John Varvatos John Varvatos, the original OG. No kidding. So if you like First Instinct Together, Azzaro Wanted By Night and or JV - you'll enjoy this...and you should be able to find it fairly cheap for 3.4 / 100ml

Sitting on a 3 year bottle of this beauty and today it smells gorgeous!! Smooth, rich, sweet apple, lavender and geranium pop out sat the start. The amber, sandalwood and patchouli in the heart make it warm and a little creamy. The cedar and oakmoss in the base hide a really nice woody, green foundation. Performance is now quite good too. For the price, there should be zero fuss about this one. It smells great, gets better with time and cost less than a trip to any reputable burger joint. Simple, lovely.

This parfume is something classic for everyday, something which you can wear on everyday occassions, not too much impressed. Overall grade for this parfume is 6/10. I would advise you to wear it on Fall and Winter and more for night occassions, avoid wearing on mornings and day :)

Smells too cheap. And I’m not a big “oh this is synthetic I hate it” type person but this smells hollow. To me it is a blue version of Azzaro wanted by night with minimal cinnamon. Spring through late fall night scent. But again this is a I’d skip it fragrance for me.

Most ppl in the comments are saying it smells like Azzaro Wanted by night. It smells more like The Most Wanted EDP. I don't wear the Rue because it's a little redundant in my collection. But it's good for a run to the store.

the nice apple opening and the bottle are the only good thing about this scent it doesn't last or project
