Pink Ice

I decided to buy this after learning that Charlotte Russe had closed permanently, as has their online store. I had every intention of purchasing their original "Refuge" perfume, which looked a great deal like this one. I detect some grapefruit notes here...pink grapefruit (fits with the name). There are also other floral notes and a dash of sugar, though I definitely wouldn't include it in a list of overly sugary perfumes such as Britney Spears Fantasy (and Midnight Fantasy), XOXO Mi Amore, Bath & Body Works Velvet Sugar, Charlotte Russe Refuge: Nights, or the original, self-titled Snooki (all of which I'm fond of, by the way). I wouldn't say it was sugared musk, found in those perfumes. The sweetness doesn't smell as synthetic as one would necessarily think. There aren't detailed notes posted on this listing, and I'm newer to detecting exact notes than some other users on this site; otherwise I'd go more in-depth. I love both the name and scent, as well as the $10 price. I do have one complaint, though: the longevity is not the greatest, at least not on skin (clothing is a longer-lasting bet, to be honest). Silage is decent at first but honestly, it declines quite quickly after roughly an hour or two. However, considering the extremely affordable price, I won't fret too much. I'll simply spray on more, and buy another bottle if I need to (God willing Rue21 keeps stocking this one, as I don't seem to see Tarea and some of their other scents in the store anymore). I do hope they keep this one in their rotation, as---in spite of the lower longevity and spotty silage--the scent itself is extremely fresh, fun, and fruity with floral notes. Very young and girly; right in my wheelhouse. While it isn't a "mature" scent, I believe anyone of any age can and should wear whatever scents they enjoy, and in whatever price range. If you're looking to feel flirty and energized before a night of going out, a party/show, or a date, this is a great safe bet. Reminds me so much of middle school and high school, starting to shop in "big girl" stores, clubwear, and the excitement of sleepovers. I didn't own this scent back then, but it fits in with the aesthetic, and I absolutely love that. I'd wear in any season, but to me, the "ice" in the name is a bit ironic, because I think this will especially pop in the summer months.

Pink Ice used to be my go-to fragrance when I was a teenager. I remember when I found it during my very first adultless mall spree with my sister. It was Rue 21's newest fragrance at the time, but it was a shining star compared to any other mall/teen fragrance I had ever smelled. You could say that Pink Ice is my perfume first love. Sentiments aside, this fragrance is fresh and sweet, and very fruity. I would say that Rue 21 did a fantastic job of matching the fragrance to the bottle and name. The only drawback is that it doesn't last very long, so reapplications are necessary through the day. I wear this occasionally when I want to feel flirty and carefree. My rating of Rue 21's Pink Ice is 9/10.

I'm in my 20s I wear this I don't care if it's made for a younger audience I'd say anyone could wear this it is such a pick me up! :) I LOVE the smell of this soo fruity fresh/unique I don't think there's any other perfume like this <3.. I get more compliments on this than when I wear my designer perfumes not to mention the bottle is cute too! it doesnt last very long (3 hours max) but that's okay, good enough for me considering the price is great only $10!.. It really reminds me of Hearbal Essences Body burst body wash (orange bottle)

Upon first spray, the fragrance opens with a distinct, tart, black currant scent. However, this sour yet delicious opening quickly fades into the smell of cool, juicy oranges. At the end, the perfume transforms into warm vanilla. This fragrance doesn't last long at all, but for the price of only $10, I think it is definitely worth respraying all day long. It's sour, sweet, cool, and warm: all at once. Overall, I highly recommend Rue21's 'Pink Ice' if you want an exciting daytime fragrance for the spring and summer months.

This is a great perfume! I got a 75ml bottle of it Rue 21 for about $10.00 so it's a great price! It is def. a fruity floral, my fav.! I smell some coconut in there. It is very sweet which I love and boy does it last! I spray in the morning and still get wiffs of it around 3pm. It is very girlie and young? Well it makes me feel as if I'm 20 again and that's a good thing! Not something I would wear on a date, but great for daytime during the summer!

So...I know this isn't actually a review, but they just released a limited edition of this perfume. The bottle is so incredibly cute. If you are thinking of buying it, you should do it now. It's the exact same scent, just a glitzier bottle.

Just beautiful. I mostly just smell tropical fruits like tangerine with hints of pineapple. It really is mouth watering and when I wear it it balances perfectly between a super sweet yet completely wearable and sexy fragrance.

I wish this perfume lasted longer!!! It is such a sweet fresh scent. I get many compliments the thirty minutes to an hour it lasts. You can't beat the price though. I love the scent its so unique and beautiful!!!

This spells strongly of pink grapefruit. Sweeter on the drydown.

My first girlfriend wore this. I remember her spraying it on herself after gym while we were in the locker room together. When we broke up she gave me a piece of fabric sprayed with her perfume and I still have it somewhere. Lesbians love Pink Ice, I guess. Really smells like the popular girls to me but it might just be that my popular closeted girlfriend pavlov'd me into thinking that in 7th grade.

I got this as a kid when it first launched and years later I decided to get it again and i still love this smell. I don't get any floral scents but it's definitely Fruity and sweet but not overpowering. It would probably be my favorite perfume if it had better longevity (you have to keep reapplying constantly) but for the price it's great. Hoping a Eau da Parfum version comes out!

Pink Ice is such an affordable pleasant scent. It's sweet but not sickening and just enough floral to be elegant. There is also a faint citrus. It does not last very long on my skin but it's affordable enough to reapply. It really acts like a body mist, rather than a perfume In my opinion. It smells a lot like Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes

this scent brings me back to freshman year of high school. this was my scent in the locker rooms after gym. high school was meh, scent was okay. never lasted super long, just until the end of the school day, which was fine by me then but it probably wouldn't work for me for full day wear as an adult now

A sweet, summery, and fruity scent. It's comes off bright and gives me mid 2000s vibes. This was one of my first perfumes growing up and I still enjoy it to this day. It's a good safe wear and pretty inoffensive, doesn't last too long though.

Very pretty and girly! Smells like middle school. I would say, i dont quite pick up on floral notes. To me, this perfume smells just smells like someone is holding fruit gummies up to my nose, but it isn’t a bad thing! I’m quite into it.

Thsi was the #2 fragrance in sales last year at Rue, so needless to say, people loved it. It smells very floral at first, but then it calms down to this light airy candy smell. It's really good if you have the right skin.

When I wear this perfume, I get more compliments on it then my most expensive perfume, and this was $10! This perfume is amazing so light and pretty!

Sweet and innocent, sexually shy nature. For the new adult making her way into confidence or for a quick enticement. Not too bold or daring.

What I would imagine the typical teenage girl to wear.

Found this one at TJ’s for a really cheap price. I’ve never owned this one myself, before, but I’ve heard other people were nostalgic for it so I figured I couldn’t go wrong for $6. Ironically, I’m actually pretty disappointed. This is more generic than generic. It almost doesn’t smell like anything to me and it has 0 lasting power or sillage. That being said, it could be a great beginner’s perfume for someone under the age of 10 for that very reason. Overall, a 3/10 from me, as it isn’t offensive but it’s absolutely nothing special.

Nice young, sweet, fruity scent. But the longevity is probably the worst of any perfume I've ever had or tried on. Even if you spray your whole body the scent will be completely gone in half an hour or less.

smells great at first but has a disgusting after smell!!!!!! gives me headaches and im thinking about returning not sure yet though i have to try it at least one more time

This smells nice but I don't think I would repurchase just because it kind of has a basic smell to it and the lasting power sucks!

So sweet, almost like melted popsicle on my skin. It's very girly and young, and part of me really likes it. But there's no way I'd go out in public wearing this. This is more of a room spray or lounge at home alone scent. Bonus for being so cheap! The longevity is not too great, I put this on about an hour ago and it's fading already. This is great juice for the young girl who is trying out perfume for the first time, but definitely not for me. Keep shining!

My best friend really loves this scent, and I know she's definitely not alone in that. I can see how this scent is appealing and I do agree that it smells pleasant. If I received this as a gift, I would most likely wear it. If I went to rue21 to buy a fragrance, this wouldn't be the first one i'd choose. It's really sweet, fruity, fresh, and sugary.

I really liked this scent. I was leaving the store when I got a whiff of it and came back. I bought it instantly. Although I love the fruity-ness to it, it seems like something not suited for everyone. This scent is for someone younger, perhaps. It's fun and definitely great for summer, but it doesn't last as long as I hoped it would.

As far as my scent memory goes, this resembles Bright Crystal by Versace. It could even be Bright Crystal Absolu because this is a very bright fragrance. Crowd pleasing and for younger women, maybe layering with an ambery or musky scent would make it more mature. Good price and always in stock at rue21 stores.

Off the top I get big strawberry and then raspberry notes. This is too young for me, but I think it’s my favorite of the “candy” type perfumes I’ve tried. Ideal for a 11-17 year old. Really cheerful but not try-hard. Evokes summer, fun and innocent, light-hearted times.

This was so cheap I just had to have it. Yes it is young but I don't mind because it smells quite nice. Lots of apple, pineapple, sugar and orange. Good summer scent. Doesn't last too long but I didn't expect it too. No complaints. It is a good guilty pleasure.

I've been collecting rue21 perfumes and so far this is my favorite. It smells sweet fruity and typical but I like this one. Out of all the ones I have now this one seems to last the longest. I do smell a hint of vanilla.
