Fabulous and well balance scent with unique notes -- they all play well together, this perfumer knows how to make seemingly unrelated notes both support each other and has little solos, a well-written symphony giving each section it's place in support and shining solos through dry down. I got this as a sample, and loved it the minute I opened the little dauber and put it on. I was astonished at the number of notes when I took the time to look it up, then the fun of finding them. It's multi-seasonal, scent on me; and likes a robust application for full appreciation. I've worn it in subtropics this summer and now into early winter, and it still feels "right'. It is just a really well-made perfume, quirky enough for my personality, and I really enjoy wearing it, get lots of compliments, especially in the floral part of the drydown, and I love the anise, licorice, fennel opening. Quickly becoming my daytime 'signature scent'.

One of the BEST iris scents i have tried. This is really nice. The mix between the licorice and the iris beside the spicy vibe of the aniseed and the aromatic effect of fennel is just amazing. It has a very powdery and milky character as Well and a deeper background with leather and musk which remember a bit to Dior homme parfum. For me It is like a mix between impossible iris by monegal, with his sweet and soapy elegante, and dama koupa by Naruto, with his flowery and powdery power. The intensity is moderate butbthe performance on my skin is very good. It lasts Much time and projects moderate but always noticeable. What you get with this gem is elegance. This smells like if you took Dr Pepper and made it extra spiced with some cinnamon, star anise, and some licorice root and then served it with a glass of cold milk. It’s the weirdest combo but weirdly enough it works? It’s got an aromatic and green greenness coming from the fennel mixed with warm spice and sappy sweetness from the other earthy notes. As it dries down the licorice picks up as does the leather, in a powdery, slightly woody, slightly smoky mix. The leather here is rich and buttery, worn in and well loved, the licorice having an almost candied sweetness to it. You do lose the milkiness as time goes on, with an aromatic and earthy leather scent lingering. I will say the iris is a common note all throughout too. It’s soft, slightly sweet and earthy with a woody powder underlying. A roller coaster of a scent but a fun one!

A beautiful and highly unusual fragrance that really deserves more press. I've heard this described as Iris Silver Mist's director's cut, and that description is perfect. The top notes are intensely rooty and anisic, with a chilly, earthy, and metallic facets very front and center, like cutting into a bulb of florence fennel with a steel knife. After the rather shocking top, the iris moves in, and the fragrance becomes accented with vetiver and carrot seed for a softer, earthier drydown with a slight caramelized facet. The iris here isn't powdery or lipsticklike at all, but fresh, visceral, and slightly spicy with how alive it is. This fragrance is very unusual, and the top notes might scare away some folks, but the wild ride of this scent is something I've grown to love. My favorite iris out of all of them.

Beautiful iris fragrance. After the initial blast of licorice and fennel in the opening it does become similar to Iris Silver Mist with a few notable differences: Feb 14 is not as wet and vegetal as ISM, it has hints of leather while ISM does not, and there is a certain dustiness to it that is not in ISM. Although Feb, 14 is lovely, I still prefer my vintage Iris Silver Mist by a mile, but it can be a very decent alternative for those who can't find it or are unwilling to pay the exuberant price + taxes + import duties.

This scent is so youthful and romantic but in a sophisticated old world way. The scent of Elizabeth Bennet walking through a field of flowers on her way home from the market. I'm in love. Edit: I just recently sample Chanel No 19 Poudre by Chanel and I feel like these two scents are similar, but I would say FEB.14,1912 might be more waxy, where No 19 Poudre is more powdery. I love both.

Velvety, powdery anise in a bundle of faded greenery. A sweet, dry scent that stops just shy of licorice-cloying or absinthe-heady. 1912 is right; it's an Old World pastoral, wreathed in chilled mists and pastels.

Iris & licorice is a no brainer for me. Both come through gorgeously on me. It’s very licorice forward on first spray and I wish the iris and milk shined through more but I still love it

Upon initial spray, this smells almost exactly like dandelion root tea: dark and bitter like bread crusts. If I search for it, I can pick out the sweet beginnings of anise. As this scent evolves, it becomes more sweetly spiced, still like a strong cup of tea but moving closer toward something like chai. The iris softens and balances the scent, though it definitely retains the bitterness from the beginning. Bye the end, it has become soft musky iris... What an intriguing scent! Artistically, I feel quite drawn to it, but I can't imagine I'd ever wear this.

So strange and bold I almost can't bare to smell it on myself - the anise is strong alongside the rooty herbs that aren't known for smelling nice - saint john's wort, gingseng, fennel - but something about it makes me devoted, like it's a masterpiece too emotional and dark for me to ever want to see again. I will probably never wear this in public but I'm rushing to order every single sample this house offers

This is the weirdest smelling scent and I honestly can't tell if I hate it or not. It smells incensey and old and yet waxy and barnyardy at the same time. I don't smell any of the notes that I was excited about distinctly at all --- tonka, bergamot, musk, milk, even anise. It kind of works but I never would want to smell like this. What a weird, weird, dusty complicated floral freakshow.

Not terrible. I vaguely like this but I find this to be a blobby and weird take on the Iris Silver Mist profile. The milk note and the sweetness are not doing it any favors and make it feel significantly cheaper. Feels like that SpongeBob episode where he sketches himself into an evil caricature. A corrupted iris.

more liquorice candy than fennel/anise and like 2005 lipstick. dry down gets more floral elements.

All I can smell is a very dry-feeling orris.

The black licorice, anise, fennel slaps you in the face and makes your eyes water. Imagine the hottest days of the year and you left a full bag of opened black licorice in your car with the windows rolled up. As you open the door the smell overpowers all of your senses. But you have somewhere to be, so you throw the melted licorice out, roll down the windows and take off. Gradually the licorice softens and you can breathe again. You get to your destination, touch up your lipstick. Oh no, the lipstick has melted as well, and now it’s all over your face, hands, and clothes! This is the 2nd act of Feb 14, 1912. A waxy, powdery, lipstick-like iris. I wanted to like this so much, but alas, I do not.

I had high hopes for this fragrance - despite the obvious differences, the overlap in notes (specifically the combination of spices and musky, creamy notes) made me hope this would be something to at least remind me of my beloved Le Feu D'Issey in hints, or just capture me in a similar way. But on both paper and skin, I get an unpleasant, waxy lipstick scent, with only tiny hints of spice. It smells old on me, and I don't mean in a way where I feel like a sophisticated lady in her 60s or 70s (which is a vibe I like occasionally despite being in my early 30s); I mean it smells stale. I clearly expected too much going in, hyping myself with thoughts of my now discontinued signature, but even standing on its own, this scent is sadly repulsive on me.

راندهولز هي دار دار أزياء ألمانية ليست متخصصة في انتاج العطور ولكنها بدأت بالفعل في انتاج العطور في سنة 2012م. ولكنها عطور لأسباب اجتماعية توثيقية فالعطر الأول 03.Apr.1968 يحمل تاريخ ميلاد الزوجة لينكا راندهولز وهو عطر بخوري قوي على غرار ميكاليف "شانان" وبارفام دو مبير "وازامبا" والثاني Sept.21.1966 وهو يحمل تاريخ ميلاد الزوج، وهو ليس أنا بالفعل  لأنني من مواليد شهر يونيو، وهو عطر أراه يشبه كثيرا أمواج جوبليشن ولكن في صورة مكثفة شديدة القوة وأما عطرها الثالث الأخير فيحمل تاريخا أبعد وأقدم FEB.14, 1912 فهو تاريخ ميلاد الأم. والعطر بالفعل يحمل جينات هذه الحقبة من الزمن مع أول رشات للعطر وجدتني أرجع بخيالي للوراء بعيدا لأرى الأم وهي جالسة في هندامها الكلاسيكي الأنيق على كرسي من الجلد المكسو بالفراء الناعم ترتشف من فنجان بورسيليني عتيق ذلك المشروب التابلي الدافئ، وأمامها منضدة من أخشاب السيدار تحمل فوقها طبقا من فاكهة البرتقال والبرجموت الإيطالي ومزهرية تضم أزهار السوسن والياسمين والورد الألماني ذا الأصول الدمشقية هل تعشق أجواء البارع سيرجي لوتنس عندما يمزج توليفة تابلية؟ إذا كانت اجابتك بنعم فهذا العطر هو مزيج من عطري زنجبيل الساعة الخامسة وعطر أرابي لسيرجي لوتنس. أجواء تابلية دافئة من الينسون النجمي والشمر والعرقسوس كرائحة ذلك المشروب الدافيء الذي اعتاد الكبار أن يشربوه قديما للتهدئة، وربما أيضا كوجبة لازمة للأطفال في مرحلة الرضاعة. أعترف أنني في البداية توقفت عند هذه النقطة بنظرة سلبية للعطر. لكن مع مزيد من الاصرار على تفهم العطر قررت أن أتعطر به وأن يصحبني خارج المنزل مساءا، وبالفعل كان لتحريك الهواء البارد للعطر من حولي أثر جميل جعلني أبتسم بعفوية من لمحات البراءة التي أصبحت تداعب أنفي بلطف شديد. ربما ستلمح وجودا للبرجموت والبرتقال ولكن على استحياء شديد. قد تمضي ساعة وربما أكثر وأنت على هذا المنوال حتى تشعر أن العطر خطيا لا مجال فيه لأكثر مما ظهر. ولكن عطور راندهولز قوية تماما كتلك الرافعات والمعدات الألمانية الثقيلة، فبعد الساعة سيبدأ دخول الأزهار وبخاصة الياسمين الذي سيزيد العطر دفئا، الورود والأيرس لن يقلبا العطر للاتجاه الزهري ولكنهما سينعشان الأجواء قليلا. ولكن سيظل العطر محافظا على دفئه التابلي خاصة مع ظهور القرنفل الغير حاد. الجلود الناعمة الفرائية مع أخشاب السيدار في القاعدة لن يذهبا بالعطر بعيدا بسبب وجود المسك الأبيض الجورماندي الذي سيمتزج مع جورماندية الشمر والينسون النجمي في المقدمة ليظل العطر رغم دخول هذه العناصر الجديدة محافظا على هذه اللوحة النوستالجية الأولى للأم. لقد تركني العطر الآن وبداخي رغبة قوية في معاودة قراءة رواية الأم لأليكسي مكسيموفيتش بيشكوف الشهير باسم مكسيم غوركي.

This one isn’t for everyone. I first tried it in the winter and all I could think was carrot cake. A nice smell, but nothing I cared to smell again let alone wear. I never forgot about it though. For some reason on this very humid summer day I craved it, supposedly the least likely season to wear this. Lately I cannot stand sharp scents or anything too dirty, and don’t even get me started on the Mediterranean or tropical genre. To be honest, I want summer to be over, even though in my area this means winter will be here soon. I don’t feel this way every year but alas. This time I felt differently. It’s still very thick with carroty orris, but the anis really adds a romantic element to it. I’ve been very into dusty florals lately, ie immortelle, heliotrope, mimosa, hay, etc., and now it seems less edible and more musky, like how sun-baked weeds smell in the humid summer air. This perfume is right on the edge of dusty, but the orris gives it a waxy, oiliness, and the anise rounds it out with a kind of doughy feel. It’s hard to explain, but I think foldyrhands does a great job. It’s verrryy neutral milk hotel “coded.” Romantic, whimsical, but not sweeping or grand or up in the clouds. Kind of like how Wes Anderson films look. It gives me a soft happiness to wear it, I may need to get some more. Edit: Dry down smells like bubble bath

an evocative impression of a fin de siècle valentine's day: earthen vegetables give way to flirtatious and delicate anise. sideshow laws of attraction, a rendezvous with the meek middle child of four country girls at the world's fair. somehow both matronly and reminiscent of bittersweet memories of the old world. if neutral milk hotel's ferris wheel on fire had a smell - capturing the psychosexual vicissitudes of mangum's lyrical worldbuilding, this is exactly it. at its core this fragrance could be called a breast milk incense gourmand? licorice lipstick body powder soon gives way to a lactonic core, dry yet comely. roasted fennel at her german immigrant parents' home, this is the night you're going to ask her gangly father for his blessing. you touch your worn leather loafers to her leg under the table, she smiles a crooked smile. stellar performance. you will never smell anything like this again.

In my opinion this is the closest you will get to Iris Silver Mist today, unless you’re willing to pay the exorbitant prices for ISM when you can find it. This is cold metallic iris with a pretty anise note that compliments beautifully. I blind bought it and I am SO glad I did. The carrot/vegetable aspect of iris is all here, the other notes listed are barely-there backdrops for me, and the anise/fennel note is felt most for the first half hour and then drops back behind the iris after that. The musk and tonka and light florals come through mostly in the later drydown. I am so happy I bought this because it removes the pining for ISM from my heart. And the bottle is so chic. Just beautiful Rundholz!!
