Ne Des Roses Skincare Eau de Parfum

I am someone who collects rose scents. It's my second favorite note, and rose scents dominate my collection. You'd think that with so many rose fragrances already in my collection that are true love, scents that I wear often, why in the world would I need another one, especially a blind swap?? Simply put, this is so pretty. This perfume is what "pretty" smells like. You know how on some days, you feel really super, knock-them-dead pretty?? It's like the way you feel when you land your dream job, or find the perfect gown for the perfect event kind of pretty?? It's like that, but better. This is somewhere between the sweet summery freshness of Keiko Mecheri Mihime, the juiciness of Lush Rose Jam, the realistic fresh rose of Lutens La Fille de Berlin, and the makeup vibe of Malle's Lipstick Rose. It has very little sweetness; it's really more fresh and summery. I feel like I've been to hell and back with floral scents. Everything smells so synthetic lately, especially the ethereal spring flowers. I basically gave up on peony and freesia because I didn't think I'd ever find anything that was wearable. I could never have imagined a rose + freesia + peony scent that would not only be beautiful, but seriously smells natural, like fresh flowers. Not only that, but even the sprayer --and honestly, who goes on and on with excitement about a sprayer -- but it gives this super fine mist, almost like a cosmetic facial mist of spray, and its magical. It gives you a cloud of scent. Not only that, but the box was printed using old school Intaglio style printing. There are these tiny little flowers and animals engraved in the boxes and on the cap of the bottle. I lost my mind over the little frog and the little hedgehog on the cap. Only a true artist would go out of the way on small details like that. I am in love with this house and this perfume. In a world of sameness, this really stands out. I can't wait to try more.
