Coral

Coral is a soft, powdery blend of souvenier Orange Blossom oil (in the little wooden orange bottles), sweet mimosa, and notes of vanilla. It is slightly creamsicle-like, but beeswaxy, too. It has the enchanting vibe of a balmy Florida afternoon. Being a Californian, I do not associate this particular orange blossom note with California. Instead it's the heavier, more nectar-like aroma of Florida orange blossoms, suspended in humid air. It's tropical, happy, and carefree. Irresistible.

This is a sunny, spring/summer scent. I don't get the coconut much, or for very long; the strongest note here is the mimosa. If you like mimosa, this is a good pick. I have only used the oils, which last well and don't change much from start to the end of the day; not sure what the EDP's do. Reminiscent of L'Erbolario Mimosa, but not as dusty-powdery. It's a sweet and warm trpoical-floral, and just a touch waxy. Nice.

I love several of Sage’s creations — Coral being a favorite. It’s a sunny, rich orange blossom with hints of coconut and mimosa and a dash of vanilla. (The orange blossom and coconut stand out most on my skin.) It reminds me of a pink Bonne Bell face wash I used in middle school so it’s nostalgic for me, but, since most people might not be familiar with that scent, it’s like the simplified sister of D&G The Only One Intense (the apple note in the D&G is the biggest difference, IMO). I would like to add that I also love Tocca Stella, but see absolutely NO resemblance between Stella and Coral. None. Coral is rich and a bit sweet, but has a brightness to it that is just beautiful — like sexy sunshine in a bottle!

This doesn't smell unpleasant to me, but it does remind me strongly of a floral-scented antiperspirant. Mostly floral with a smooth base, although I got a bit more of a tropical vibe for the first couple minutes. This makes me think of how a little girl wearing a summer dress might smell if you hugged her.
