Sagebrush

I tested this blind right after their Spur fragrance, and while some obvious differences back to back a similar desert isolation of cowboy and cowperson kept a resounding connection between the two, so today I just went half and half. The opening here is distinctly sage, with a dry woodsy body. Growing up where sagebrush is about the only thing that does grow, it's a nice romanticized version (as it should be) of that rugged plant. However, it lays a bit too heavy on the herb side, leaving me at times wondering if we're outside in the spring desert, or in the kitchen about to get our chicken on. While there is a hint of cannabis, it's mainly suggestive. You won't get that familiar relaxing friend here. At times the aromatic blend gives a hint of peppermint, which can go either way. While the opening was moderate, it felt more intimate throughout the day, not really making itself known, like a tumbleweed that passes by, present, but you have to be there to see it. And like a tumbleweed, this is a bit more desolate and alone (dry), except in the company of Spur man.
