THIS.IS.SO.GOOD. saw this newly available at my local online Sephora store and was interested,so i did my research, literally 5 reviews on Fragrantica and a little to no reviews on Youtube probably because it was just released this year 2024.....BUT all the reviews was positive which made me confident enough to blind bought this....I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED,smell amazing,fairly priced, minimalistic packaging.....ticking all of the box for me......it's a photorealistic rose scent with hints of spice, herbal notes with shy lingering of oud.....dries down to sweet tea rose-like scent.....now im going to get the other two bottles that they have

Ok, here goes a review. Excited about this body sprays searching for a review everywhere, decided to try it at store, this fragrance has impressed me with its power of Eau de Parfum being labeled as a body spray. Great sillage and projection, the dry down because of its sweetness reminds me just a little to The Noir 29, the opening it’s an earthy crisp black rose, some type of spice or herbal feeling with woods and a fresh crispness. Based on my opinion this is elegant and something different that I have not smelled before. Great to try out if you like rose fragrances.

A lovely fragrance. Simple, clean, modern lines in the packaging and a fair price. I'll be collecting the whole set of this if I can! A soft rose, a light hint of wood with an underlying hint of oud that lingers pleasantly on the skin. Currently I have the hand cream, and the body mist. Both are delightful and even nicer worn layered together. For me, the soft rose in it lends it a sweetness that makes it slightly more feminine than unisex but that tends to be my sweet spot for perfume, slightly to the feminine side of unisex.

Absolutely stunning and intoxicating. Smells like if you took a big bouquet of red roses, put them in water, and locked the vase in a mahogany china cabinet. If you opened that cabinet a few days later, you would smell the freshness of the rose flowers, the slightly decaying stems in water, and the dark, dry wood. Very sexy. I sprayed this on my wrist in Sephora and could smell it on myself for at least 6 hrs after, and I could smell it on the wrist of my coat for DAYS. Amazing price and performance for a body mist.

This smells like the cologne version of Le Labo's The Noir 29 or Byredo's Rose Noir. I stay in a humid country thus I can't use those 2 fragrances that I have listed as often as I would like. This Salt & Stone version aptly fills that gap for my desire of rose and oud smells. It's just so sexy and the price is ridiculously low if you buy it during a Sephora sale. I'm buying their Bergamot and Hinoki next!

This is the first time I’ve seen a nontoxic/“clean” oud perfume. It’s also nice to see the masses start to embrace Middle Eastern scents. The oud in this is bitter. No funky barnyard oud here. It’s very clean. The rose is sweet. An interesting synergy. Sillage is good. I get whiffs of it an hour after I’ve sprayed it, which is impressive considering it’s a nontoxic perfume, and a “mist”.

Mahogany lovers, this one is for you. The oud is present but tame. The rose is soft and smooth. A little vetiver is behaving in the background and lending some flavour. This is an unexpectedly beautiful mist with powerful performance. Men and women can wear this. It is incredibly well blended. If you are looking for a summer oud, I highly recommend it.

I love this body spray! it smells so good, like dried roses and smoke. I usually layer it with some form of vanilla body lotion and cafe rose by tom ford. Amazing combo! Its definitely more woody than rosy initially, but the dry down gives that rose and Lilly of the valley note more.

i smelled this multiple times at the store waiting to make a decision on if i wanted to buy it or not, and the vetiver and oud notes drew me back every time. i usually go for arab-brand oud perfumes, but one integrates it just as well!

This leans a lot harder into the woody accord than any floral notes. The wood is dry, pronounced, and a bit sour. Overall a nice fragrance, but I may have been expecting it to be more rose forward, a tad sweeter, like the deodorant.

This fragrance is labeled a body mist but performs like a perfume. Was looking for something similar to Nest’s Rose Noir and Oud candle and it’s a great match. Love, love, love this scent and this line

unisex. muted dried rose. smooth woody scent. smells like honey to me? but not in a overly sweet way. kind of reminds me of the smell of old book pages.

A budget The Noir 29. And I mean that in the best way. If you like that fragrance but not the price tag, get this! You won’t regret it.

This is my favorite of the Salt and Stone body mists. And I have already run out of it. Sexy dark rose and oud lingers.

This is amazing masculine scent! Perfect for spring and summer. I can’t see any women pull this off.

I happened to buy salt and stone black rose and oud spray after I ordered the deodorant and it worked really well (although left huge oil-pit stains on all of my scrubs) It is similar to Casa Blanca, but casa is much smoother, maybe brighter? Black rose and oud stays prettyboozy and very peppery IF it’s hits the skin. Stays just as it is on clothes. It also kind of reminds me, a tiny bit, of the water in a vase of roses after it’s sat for a week and the roses are a lil’ droopy. I still like it so much. Both are a smell that might be thought of as a house or candle smell. Both are eternal on skin and clothing. The deodorant alone is so impressive, I wish it didn’t stain. Edit: the deodorant is absolutely eternal, the spray is not. I was mistakenly assuming my scent was from the spray.

This very much warrants a skin test if you like fragrances like Casa Blanca or Thé Noir - I find this one to be not a perfect dupe by any means, but a very similar vibe - sister, not twin! This smells far more expensive than it is and performs incredibly well considering it’s a body spray. It has great sillage and moderate longevity. Perfectly unisex. I will say, I bought this for my husband and it does not mix well with his body chemistry; on him, I don’t like the smell of this much, but I tested it myself and it smells very different! The oud is much more subdued on me, which I prefer. I would recommend skin testing this since it seems to be particularly variable.

The body spray is everything the reviews say it is — an accurate but lighter version of The Noir. Yay for us. HOWEVER, the lotion smells like literal cigarette butt water. Its the couch in your great aunt's basement who smokes like a chimney. Its been there for at least 20 years. Its grimy yellow floral print, possibly waterlogged, slightly waxy to the touch. DO NOT buy the lotion, lord have mercy I dont even care if you like that kind of thing I want you to stay away from the lotion do not buy the lotion. We're going to forget the lotion exists now and move on with our lives. Amen.

This smells luxe and sophisticated. The rose is muted and a little dark, but I mostly notice the oud, which is smooth and woody. I don't get any smoke or pepper on my skin. I was surprised at the lasting power, though I did layer the hand lotion underneath it (sampled both at a store). It doesn't project far, however I do catch whiffs occasionally when moving my arms, and can still smell it very well directly where it was applied, 5 hrs later. I find it unisex, and would find it best suited for fall or winter.

I used to own a bottle of The Noir 29 but it was too strong and gave me a headache so I gave it away. I tried this in Sephora the other day and it's almost identical! For a body mist, I was surprised by the sillage and how long it lasted (4-5 hrs). This is a perfect, lighter alternative for Le Labo and it'll save you some cash too.

This is straight up a rip off of Le Labo Noir 29 but lacking the warmth and depth. For the price, it’s a tremendous value. Unfortunately it lacks longevity at max 2 hours until it becomes a skin scent. For the money though, still good value on a rather expensive and not cloned enough NOIR 29 dna

I love this scent. The only thing is that it has a strong apple-juice smell in the beginning... super juicy and acidic, almost like smelling some kind of rum (I hate liquor). But that wears off and it is very bright and spicy and sexy.

This perfume is an incensey, smoky, rose. It's not heavy or artificial smelling and lasts around 4 hours. It's a mysterious scent. Someone with a story. Romantic, gothic vibes if you will.

Very close to Noir 29, not as strong and refined, lacking some spice but an incredible scent for the price. Cant help but think this is a dupe of Le Labo.

This is a near perfect dupe of The Noir 29 by Le Labo (one of my favourite fragrances). To me this smells like figs with a soft wood undertone.

The best way I can describe this scent is that it smells like a funeral. It makes me visualize sitting in a catholic church with everyone around me in black, crying, and pink flower arrangements scattered about. There's this punch of sadness partnered with ash, smoke, and incense. Underneath that is this bueatiful rosey floral note. It pretty much stays like that for its entire wear, but towards the end of its "life" the ash and smoke disappear leaving you with a nice faint rose smell. For me personally, its a very intimate scent that last long enough. Id definitely recommend it for any funeral or for anyone that likes the feeling of death, remembrance, or mystery.

I wore this faithfully for a week. I never fell in love. I cant put my finger on it but it felt simple and the rose didnt really come through enough.

Second best of the mists. Elegant but I am just not a rose girl.

This smells bad. Maybe it fits a man more because I'm female and I hated it. I have the other salt and stone perfume which I love but this NOOO Smells like rotten fruit with cinnamon

Despicable!!! I had so much hope for a rose and oud, to the point I got the deodorant too. I cannot understand how far off this is from the notes, and I have never smelled an oud this balsamic and peppery? it lacks the depth and the weighty smoky quality I expect from a typical oud for it to be the name. The rose certainly comes through but not to any great effect. I have to admit there were times in trying this where I began to agree with the smell, maybe on hour two after application but the opening is so disgusting to me that I couldn't find it worth waiting so long for an okay-ish smell. I DO have to give them points for how well performing this is for a body mist. Can't recommend. I gave this to my dad to free myself of it and I feel a bit bad.

I was curious to try this Salt & Stone offering, having heard good things about the brand. I instantly regretted spraying Black Rose & Oud on my wrist after opening the package in my car. It was sickening, for the rest of my trip my arm smelled of stale, soured cigarette ash dumped on the dried out roses discarded in the garbage can of a funeral home. Hands down the most vile scent I have ever had the misfortune to spray on my body. I am not sure the intent or audience for this fragrance. It is NOT a safe blind buy, or suitable for anyone with clear sinuses.

I don't know why it's apparently okay for a brand to have 5 scents and have 3 of them be blatant Le Labo ripoffs, one a copy cat of MFK, and another of Aesop? The lack of originality or effort is honestly disgusting. This one a ripoff of Le Labo The Noir 29!

This one is interesting to me because I can’t figure out whether I like it or not. It is NOT a fragrance that screams “be my friend” but it makes you acknowledge the person wearing it. It isn’t my favorite scent profile but after showering with the shower gel and misting this on my hair and pulse points, I want to keep getting whiffs of myself. It’s deep, it’s dry, it’s somehow still warm and comforting. It’s not a warm hug, it’s someone who doesn’t hug people but somehow still comforts them with their presence. I like it. It makes me feel *edgy* This isn’t a jammy rose, and I can’t even really describe it as a fresh rose, it’s more dried rose petals that I get from it. I have been layering it with Tresor midnight rose when I want to brighten it up, and frenshe cashmere vanilla when I want warm it up.

This smells so much better than The Noir in my opinion! The Noir has a really fast drydown on my skin, and it turns into one glaring note: the musk from Not a Perfume by JHAG. I do not like that note at all, so I don'treally like The Noir. This body mist doesn't have that musk note at all... it starts with a dark, rich rose and the dries down into a rich warm woody scent before it dissipates; that is the worst part about this. It doesn't last. I keep it in my purse and respray constantly. They really need to make an actual perfume for this scent!!

This is great on its own but hear me out.... Layer this with a VANILLA SCENT. I like nemat vanilla musk oil underneath this and it creates the most incredible fall/winter scent. The vanilla adds a warmth and sweetness that the body mist alone kind of lacks and it just works perfectly together trust me. Also, this lasts a very long time and projects very well for a body mist

Havent smelled the body spray but I have the Black Rose & Oud body lotion and it has a very clean rosy and kind of fresh scent that stays on the skin for hours. I don't get any oud though. It's Definitely more feminine leaning than unisex in my opinion. I will repurchase when I've finished the current bottle. I also want to try other scented body products from this brand.

In my opinion, this one is the best of the four fragrances as it is stronger and has more longevity. It smells like I've walked out of a high end spa. You can also make it last slightly longer by spraying it into a fragrance free body lotion and putting it all over.

Ok i get what people are saying about oud smelling like a barnyard lol but this is still pretty good. I like it. I'm going to wear it. I literally just took my first sniff, so I know my opinion will change. I was instantly reminded of creed's oud.

I really enjoyed this. And the price is reasonable enough to give a full bottle a try!! Thanks get candied rose and soft incense oud. Not straight wood but like there are spices mixed in from a distance. First oud ive liked in a long time.

Wearing this right now, warm, sexy rose oud fragrance, i got the set with deo,lotion and spray. And I'm really liking it. First time trying this brand, so far so good 👍
