Santal & Vetiver

This is beautiful. I bought the body spray, wash and crème and together they smell delicious after a shower. The body spray on its own does not have a lot of longevity as you would expect, but as a women in my 40s, I appreciate that because a top off from this (from the fridge) will be divine in hotter weather - IYKYK! I can see the Santal 33 comparison, but this is significantly lighter. I intend to try this over a milky body lotion. I will be collecting a couple of other scents from this range. No disrespect to Sol de Janiero etc, but it’s great to find body sprays with a bit more grown up vibe (and that’s from a lover of no 71 in cooler months). Worth the money in my opinion and I’ll be looking to see if they graduate to EDTs or parfums.

This scent is an incredible dupe for Le Labo Santal 33. The first time I smelled it, I actually chased someone down just to ask what they were wearing. He told me a girl had put him onto it, and he’s been hooked ever since—which honestly says a lot. My only downside is the performance. On my skin, it doesn’t last very long at all. Interestingly though, my sister wears the same fragrance and it lasts significantly longer on her, so it might just come down to skin chemistry. That said, for the price point, this is a no-brainer. I’ve gone through at least five bottles already, and I’ll probably keep buying it.

Really did not like Santal 33 on my skin but smells amazing on a boy I used to know. This smells exactly like the drydown, soft and velvety without a harsh plywood scent I find on Santal 33. I wish this lasted longer because I want to smell like this all the time! I have to really put my face into my skin to smell it after an hour.

While I can’t deny that this is in the vein of Santal 33, it is a softer more soothing version. I really like it.

I dislike Santal33 because it truly is too strong. And usually I'm someone who tends to prefer original, full-strength fragrances over "inspired by" options, dupes, or things that just happen coincidentally to smell similar. I nearly always opt for the more potent option with the most character. Not with S33 though. I much prefer softer (still slightly pickle-y) sandalwoody, trendy perfumes that feature the same general vibe. Call me crazy, but I *do* smell pickles/dill, and I *like* it occasionally in small doses. I have Pacifica's Neon Moon which I enjoy when I'm in the mood. This is quite similar to S33, but tamer and less aggressively dry. Classically unisex (or slightly masculine, though who even cares to make generalizations, just wear whatever you like), fresh, but not soapy. Herbal and almost grassy, but not dusty. It's a good scent, and again, not as overpowering as S33. These types of picklewood/sandalwood scents always make me think of the desert landscape for some reason...they're arid.

Inspired by Le Labo Santal 33. I just wanted something simple and relaxing as the rest of my week is going to be hectic; this is kind of like being in a luxury spa. It opens with warm sandalwood and resinous amber. There's zero sweetness; it's dry. In the heart cedar and an amberwood come through, creating a static electricity like feeling. The base is a smoky grassy vetiver with some violet leaves, kind of like dry wood smoke drifting out in the open forest. I think this is a nice zen unisex fragrance. It just doesn't last at all; great for blending though.

I don't know exactly what note it is that I find so captivating but whenever a scent is named with "Santal" in it I love it so much. Is it just the mix of sandalwood and vetiver that is just so incredibly pleasing? Honestly I bought the deodorant in this scent and I cannot stop smelling myself so I had to buy this. The longevity is what you expect but my lord I carry this with me and reapply since I love it so much. If someone can let me know which fragrance smells like this, I would be a happy man. 8.7/10 scent but overall 7/10 as a fragrance.

Just a PSA if you got the mini sample of this deodorant scent and loved it and thats why you;re getting this, it doesn't translate quite as well to this spray. Its just ok. ALSO the full size deo does not have as much concentration as the sample!!!!!!!!!!!! and it doesnt last that long i went through a full size deo in under 2 weeks!!!!! but anyway this is just fine it has a different smell than the deo and is def a more unisex masc leaning spray but i dont mind it.

If you’ve tried the deodorant, unfortunately this mist is only about a 85-90% match. There’s an additional sweetness in the deodorant that takes away that cucumber/pickle vibe people get with Santal33 and unfortunately that is missing from this mist. It smells much more like a Santal 33 clone than the deodorant did. If anyone finds a perfume that smell identical to the salt and stone deodorant I’d love to know.

Definitely a Santal 33 dupe, and a pretty good one at that. I would say that this is one of the worse ones of the salt and stones body sprays. I get a bad pickle note after a while, and it becomes almost unbearable. At first it is a really nice body spray, but the dry down is miserable. The longevity isn't great either. I would say if you like the initial scent, get the deodorant version.

First impressions: (free sample of the body lotion) Not very projecting, but I think this would be great for a man. I can also see a woman wearing this as well. It’s pretty weak, but I’m not a hater of it unlike other sandalwood fragrances that I dislike.

Great body spray for clothes and skin, I also use this for my car! Nice fresh sandalwood smell that does give some Santal vibes. I actually layer this on my clothes with other fragrances on my skin. Easy reach to smell nice.

a less complicated, softer, fresher santal 33 you could wear to the office. NO DILL thank god. a good layering frag or quadruple up with the body wash, lotion, and deodorant. no regrets on this impulse purchase!

I’m not bold enough to try the deodorants so the perfumes will have to do! Santal & Vetiver is soft and earthy yet clean. It’s truly unisex. Thankfully I don’t get the pickle nuances! 🤣

at first spray its very powdery and warm, you definitely get the amber. after a couple minutes all i can smell is something salty, which would be lovely if not overpowering personally.

Starts out bitter and herbal, but then turns powdery irisy in the drydown. More feminine than I expected. The best one of all the Salt & Stone fragrances

This smells a lot like Santal 33 by Le Labo, unfortunately it does not last long.

I thought i was anti-santal (living in NYC i smell Santal 33 in public constantly), but I got the deodorant of this and it made me so obsessed with its scent that I had to get this mist. It is warm, mystical and down-to-earth (not arrogant or high-brow like santal 33 somehow is) - one of those scents that blend wonderfully with one's own natural body scent/musk. This fragrance is not as good as the Deo but it's still very nice - unfortunately it lasts for LITERALLY 10 minutes and then is gone, no matter how many sprays I apply. I'm running through this like water just to use it up, and since it's inexpensive (for perfume), its alright - but this doesn't even last on me until I'm out the door in the morning. If you are kind of meh about santal, but curious about this one because of the vetiver, don't blind buy this one. It's santal dominant, which I don't care for that much. But I don't find it unpleasant, it's just not my preference. I would still wear this though, sometimes...because it isn't cloying like some santals can be that have candy notes in them. There is a freshness about this one, I guess it's the green notes. So while I don't love it, I can see why someone would, because overall it does smell good. I much prefer it after it dries down and becomes subtle wood to mix with my body chemistry.

I enjoy this fragrance cause it smells fresh and clean to me. It’s my go to for the gym. I will say I wanted it for everyday use and wanted a duper for Santal 33. Chat gpt told me this was a good affordable option so I blind bought it. I dont know who voted that this compared or smelled similar to Santal 33 but they do not smell alike at all. I love Santal 33 and this I just like it and wouldn’t repurchase.

I adore the deodorant so much that I purchased a full size bottle of the body mist. What I experienced was a completely different synthetic/chemical scent profile on the opening, unlike the unique relaxed & earthy deodorant scent profile. The extremely short longevity I experienced with this body mist on skin, as well as clothing did not allow the opertunity to truly form an opinion.

So something happened with me today.. after I finished my 10 ml of this scent, I decided to buy the fulll size—-big mistake. The scent is different in the full size. It is much much earthier and not so fresh. 🧐

Not a very projecting scent. Would need to spray a lot to get lasting power and projection. But a very nice and calm sandalwood and feminine Vetiver.

Smells like Santal & Vanilla by Sand + Fog!

Very disappointed. Another Influencer overhype. Very gluey note happening behind and with the Vetiver. The “Santal” part doesn’t exist on my skin. Blind-buying this was a huge mistake.

I don't know why it's apparently okay for a brand to have 5 scents and have 3 of them be blatant Le Labo ripoffs, one a copy cat of MFK, and another of Aesop? The lack of originality or effort is honestly disgusting

I wanted to love it but it gave me that pickle scent that sometimes people get from Santal.

let me just say, i was so obsessed with the corresponding deodorant for this that every time i smelled it i couldn't believe it existed. this smells like what i can only describe as an undeniably wetter version of the deodorant. like if the deodorant was heavily rained on. it's santal all the way down, only a little vetiver, so if that's your thing i totally recommend this, but also maybe just wear the deodorant because it's better in my opinion (especially if you love woodiness). so fresh so clean i like it

Wanted to like this because the body wash and body cream would be great layering for my old white lady dry dry dry skin, and sandalwood forward perfumes but I get what I’ll call an “institutional” note. Or cucumber. Institutional cucumber. Now there’s a scary concept. And it doesn’t fade, always kinda there at the top. Love the rest of the line, though.

Pickle tinged sandalwood but it has a creamy undertone. Tiniest hint of orris smooths the bottom adds something verging on powdery but it doesn’t get there. I have no idea what Crystal is supposed to smell like (coz y’know, crystal actually had NO SMELL) and I don’t get the violet leaves or amber. It’s mostly a creamy sandalwood woody blend with dill.

I tried this on my wrist today and the first note I thought I picked up was fig. Seeing the notes later I noticed there is no fig in it. Nevertheless, it reminds me of Philosykos by Diptique. A nice body mist, fresh and subtle. It can be used on its own or layering it with other EdTs or EdPs.

Really great woody orris scent. Sandalwood and orris is what it should be called. The deodorant and body wash layer beautifully with my other orris fragrances, like Les Bras de Morphee or Sonic Flower.

It’s very pleasant and unique. But it’s more of a skin scent and air freshener. Don’t expect any projection. Don’t expect it to stick to fabric.

Good stuff. Got this as an easy throw on, end of night, after shower, stay home and chill soothing scent 👌🏼 Fits the occasion perfectly.

Lasts longer on clothes, so i wear it in/on my favorite leather jacket. It goes sooo well with leather. Nice and unisex too:)
