Dalimix

I love this one. Nevermind the top notes, as they only appear for a few irrelevant seconds. But the sillage is a wonderful evocation of... a visit to a clean stable in a sunny day: sweet smell of dry hay, buckets with oats, and a horse feeding of sugarcane. There certainly IS an animal whiff to it. From afar, it reminds me of Heno de Pravia, for both are friendly (not timid, not dull), mildly sweet, and rather unusual fragrances. Alas, I gave it to my wife, who just passed it on to my mum. None of both liked it. A pity, really. I will probably use it myself. It makes me happy, I don't care why.

I'm really surprised at the reviews. I don't find this bitter or unisex on me. It starts out quite fresh and mellows down to a soft, sweet peach drydown. I can't stop sniffing my wrists, I really enjoy it. I sprayed it on me to test, when I received the bottle in the mail after work. I could still smell it on me when I woke the next morning. It's not over powering and it's not revolutionary but for me, it's just a good solid everyday perfume.

I'd like to have it if it's still available . My mother had it , and i was too young for such a scent . Now i think i can afford it . It's quite strong , to wear with a pair of jeans, as it's not a sophisticated one.

Very odd. I get a picture in my head of two distinct groupings of fragrance: one is flowery-vanilla (despite it not appearing above), and a watery accord which reminds me of a combination of Cool Water and Escape for men... And then- as a bridge to try and join these two compositions- are fruity (melon-y- yes!) top-notes and a chypre base. I can honestly say that I've never smelled anything quite like it. It is definitely unisex- though it might be too feminine for some men and too masculine for some women- if that makes sense? I can't say I'm in love with it, but the bottle is worth having... so I suppose I might wear it. In the daytime. In summer. Family gatherings.

I like this one. This isn't bitter to my nose at all. I can understand the CK One reference but to me Dalimix is a few shades brighter. The opening moves fast with a crisp mandarin, just a brief hint of melon, and a peach note right behind it. The middle notes are where I enjoy the ride most: a very dry light rose mixed with something that I'm guessing is the mignonette, slightly herb-like and fruity but not overpowering. This can absolutely be unisex. Longevity and sillage were average which was surprising. Dali Pour Homme lasts forever and projects far. If Pour Homme is the beast then Dalimix must be the beauty.

like eating fruity jelly bears (german Haribos) in the middle of coniferous forest... I can scent ammonia (!!), orange juice, pineapple, mignonettes, and moss, this one is a very strange mixture of scents with a hint of ammonia in the beginning slowly evaporating into something fruity-mossy. I hated and loved this perfume, there must be a kind of pheromone inside? I layer it on Burberry Weekend color: green, olive green, orange music: Hidden Place, Oceania- Bjork

Dalimix reminds me of Pinot Grigio. A sweet yet dry scent. Light and refreshing. Dalimix makes a lovely summer daytime scent,think sunday brunch by the beach. Dalimix is very office friendly. It is a versatile and pleasant in the same way as CK One, think of Dalimix as CK One's more sophisticated older sibling. As with all Dali fragrances the bottle is beautiful and unique.

The notes for this one cant be right . This is a citrus fresh scent . I belive this notes listed are for the black bottle . i believe the notes are more as : blend of fresh and tangy citrus fruits including lemons, mandarins, grapefruit and oranges , orange blossom. Blended with notes of freesia, sandalwood and amber Thats how i remember it aswell Fresh crisp and clean

I used to love Salvador Dali line when I lived in a much colder climate. About a year ago I bought a few perfumes by this house out of nostalgy. It was a wrong thing to do: my taste changed tremendously over the years. I found nothing exciting. Very plain. Just OK for day time in summer.

I love the Dali bottles. They're always stunning! This is so similar to CK One it's not funny. This one is obviously the inspiration for CK One. More masculine than feminine. This is great for wearing after you've been to the beach, to keep the beachy vibe going!

This is a kind of a weird perfume, because it reminds me of sun block. After 3 hours it becomes more attractive, when the fresh and fruity notes are gone. Then i get the sandalwood and the oakmoss.

So fresh and light, perfect for summer. Reminds me of ck one. Thank you LaPetite for the sample you send me !

I was gifted this by a dear friend in the late 90s. I don't remember much the notes but I remember clearly the experience. I don't love it straight away. Had to learn to like it, but I realised it was actually quite a good scent as I kept getting complimented whenever I had it on. It was the type of scent that didn't need many sprays on me, very pronounced - people could tell I was around by the little whiffs I left behind and that soon became my signature scent. Would love to smell it again for old time's sake.

I have never been as disappointed by a perfume as by this one. It promises an interesting scent with such an unique bottle, but it smells bitter, sharp, and I had to scrub it off my wrist-it must have staying power, because I had to use a lot of soap.

I don't like it, it's bitter, old, fresh and unisex fragrance, CK One is much better choice than this I think...

Fragrance Review For Dalimix Salvador Dali Top Notes Peach Melon Mandarin Orange Middle Notes Rose Cyclamen Mignonette Base Notes Cedar Wood Sandalwood Raspberry Oak Moss A fresh fruity floral fragrance from the modernist Salvador Dali line with the lovely lip bottle. Although this might sound crazy but I think this is a tad reminiscent of Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers but with a decidedly woodsier finish and a pleasant oak moss dry down. This is really very nice for spring days. Smells like the soft wet earth after a rain. It's a perfume that matches up with a light fabric blouse or dress shirt. A day wear fragrance. There's a light raspberry scent that really smells good somewhere in the mixture of fruits flowers and woods. An intoxicatingly feminine chypre with sweet notes. The opening is melon but it smells more watery like a water melon. There's a delicious peach and citrusy mandarin in there too. Very fruity and that raspberry is also very noticeable from the start. If you like a fruity top note accord this is sweet and pleasant. The citrus embraces a rose note, not very big, but very pretty. There's mignonette which is rare in fragrance smells like lily of the valley to me. There's a little green floral air to the heart of the perfume. It's a good balance of florals and woods. The woodsy notes of cedar and sandalwood are well crafted here and the oak moss is strong at the dry down. I do love moss. Whenever I think of moss I visualize Spanish moss hanging from big trees. I don't come from places where moss grows like that but I have seen some very brown old looking moss on tree branches here in New York. This smells like the very dry and green earthy woodsy smell I get from those kind of moss trees. So lovely. The overall impression I get is that this is a youthful modern floral chypre with sweet fruits for the appetite and the meal itself is the mignonette green floral and rose scent with beautiful woodsy tones of sandal and cedar. And the finale of moss is fabulous. Beautiful

I found a retailer selling this I was like WHATTTTTT I need to get me a bottle. My dad used to have one in early 2000s and for some reason he kept his bottle even tho there was nothing in it. We moved during those times from place to place around the world and he always brought the empty bottle with his other perfumes, I guess it was for memory. I ended up looking around to get him it as a gift and I found a store online selling multiple I bought two. One for my dad and one for me to smell what he used to smell like. What’s cool is when I got it it had at the bottle of the can that held the perfume the date of 1999 stamped so it was so sick getting to open something that had been sealed for 20 plus years. Something older than me lol (I was born in 2001). Anyways it smells really vintage style dna. I love the scent it’s a freshy type of dna but idk about anyone but I get this sweaty smell for it. You get the dry down smell of freshy mixed with sweat I’ve never had it happen to me out of all my other fragrances. Still really nice from the time it was first released and cool I got a sealed bottle from 1999

This was a delightful blind buy. I liked the Salvador Dali brand because of they're interesting bottles and my mom has a few that are downright amazing. There are a few men's fragrances but they're all really expensive. So I was excited to see that there was a unisex fragrance that was resonably priced. First off, I do see the similarity between this and CK One. However, it's less musky and spicy. In fact, there aren't spices in it at all. The fruit is amped up quite a bit with the melon and the peach. Gives more of a fresh out of the shower feel with the melon giving a slight aquatic smell. It's actually warm enough today in Tucson, AZ (go figure) so i'll be wearing this today. Very refreshing. Id say this and ck one are tied. Both are great in they're own ways.
