This is a gorgeous fragrance by Marc Buxton, a master-perfumer whose creations are outstanding. In this new version of the old Dali scent, he combines all the fascinating aspects of a well-excecuted fruity-floral with the boldness of a leathery, darker aroma. Leather is not mentioned in the pyramide, but I get some whiffs of a somewhat leathery note all the time while wearing this beautiful fragrance. A fascinating, really interesting composition. Somehow underrated.

There is something a bit confusing if you buy the "eau de parfum intense" version (which I have and is not listed here on Fragrantica). It is named Fabulous 2 as well, but has completely different notes. So if you want to know those notes are: Top Notes: Absinthe, Black pepper, Cardamom, Mandarin orange Heart Notes: Lavender, Lily of the valley, Thyme, Violet Base Notes: Leather, Patchouli, Vanilla This makes SO much sense because the edp intense version is very herbal/aromatic & leathery. It is a unisex "spicy green" scent (leans very masculine actually) and not fruity whatsoever. It has strong sillage & longevity and is probably more suitable for cooler weather.
