Ma Flamme

Starts out with a peppery blast that soon sweetens to a warm rosy amber with a bit of that suede thrown in. This entire range is very well blended - none of the notes are overly dominant. More like they combine to give a feeling - an aura, that is different at a distance than it is up close. This one's aura is very warm and elegant - it isn't heavy or suffocating. There's an unctuousness, some kind of give to it. Not juicy but almost. Yielding but with a solid heart. All of the Daligrammes are very well done. I think this is my favourite of them all.

I don't know. A herbal amber kind of scent with rosewater thrown in the mix. Absinthe and sage give it a light bitterness which combine with the rose into some kind of sugarless Turkish dessert: the sensuality they're talking about, somewhere between Paris and Istanbul. There are also some strange metallic notes now and then, as well as a hint of suede. But it's wormwood and rose that eventually take over everything else: unusual, somehow archaic, poetic, yet way too pale for that golden bottle.

Amber, rose, and pepper. It's a spicy rose with doses of amber, some pepper, and chili. Absinth, sage, & suede are there. it's kind of hot as pepper. fair.
