Regard Scintillant de Mille Beautes

This is dreamy. Mandarin oranges opens with a gigantic Turkish rose blooming forth. It's on a bed of ambrette wood and musk. My God is this rose a beauty! I agree it gets stronger as it progresses..the rose gets much more noticeable. I'm enchanted..best in the line and a must try for Rose lovers....

Opening is equal parts rose, citrus and ambrette. Entering the dry down phase, I smell mostly a spicy rose with musk. All that with good projection over the first hour—arms length and more—and with very good performance. Hours later I can still pick up this interesting Dali. That said, Regard Scintillant de Mille Beautes is not one I fully appreciate. Overall it’s too “perfume-y” for me to pull off, so not a downvote as I have much respect for the composition.

Just tried a sample of this. I'm not usually a huge fan of overly floral scents, but I love this one. I sprayed it nearly two hours ago and it actually seems to be getting stronger....or maybe I'm just sniffing my own wrist way too much and getting high from it. I'd love to buy a full bottle of this but then I checked out the price....eep!

Rose, musk, & ambrette. All the notes above are quite shown clearly, the roses, the ambrette, the musk, the orange, cedar, and the roses. The top notes are roses & ambrette As the orange is adding the sweet yet sourness touch. A nice interesting blend.

I smell a lot of rose even after a good hour of spraying it on. Not really one of my favorites as floral scents are not for me. The fragrance seems to last pretty long and doesn't change its "face".
