Amo Ferragamo Oriental Wood

I love this fragrance. On my skin I agree with a description. It is rich, sophisticated, and sensual. This was a blind buy based off the notes and wanting to be adventurous. This is certainly not for everyone. However, if you enjoy Middle Eastern perfumes give this a try. Although it is a rich scent I found it well-balanced and feminine. Well worth the price of $38. I am already ordering a back up bottle.

I tested this last week on paper, and I was impressed. A true long lasting Oriental fragrance, I could still smell it on paper 2 days later. I found the perfume in an online store, at a much better price than the one in the store where I tested it. I put it in the basket but didn't buy it because I wanted to go to the same store and test it again on my skin. Again, I was impressed. It smelled familiar, similar to some of the Oriental perfumes I already have in my collection. However, 5 hours later, I can barely smell it. I thought it was a beast. Sadly, not on my skin. I decided not to buy it anymore, but rather combine the Arabian fragrances I already have until I reach a similar result to Amo Ferragamo Oriental Wood. For instance, I combined Sheikh al Shuyuk Luxe edition with Dahaab Saafi. The result is not identical to Amo Ferragamo, but still a very nice one which I can smell quite strongly after 5 hours while the Italian fragrance is practically gone.

This is a blissful blind buy. When I saw bourbon vanilla, say no more! The bottle is a deep violet, cool AF. The juice is along the same vein as Mancera Roses Vanille but this Oriental Wood is creamier. Received today and already want a backup bottle. I sold the original bottle of Amo EDP because it just had too much alcohol in the beginning, but I did like the vanilla. But this, friends, this is gorgeous.

This is an improved version of Scherzo by Miller Harris - creamy, smooth, very well blended rose and oud combo. Beautiful!

A very in fashion oriental inspired perfume. Truly unisex. The rose and woody notes are the strongest.
