Amo Ferragamo Per Lei

I need to write another review now that I bought a full bottle, before I bought a tester that lasted a few days. The first time I smelled this perfume I really liked it and was pleasently surprised. It made me happy and triggered my imagination. I thought that it smelled like a ballerina or a Swizz It-girl, having coffee at a café winter time in Zürich. I didn't think it was "me" though, but after having raved through La vie est belle flankers, Gucci, Gourgeous gardenia flankers, Narciso Rodriguez variations, Lady Million's newer scents etc. etc. etc., I couldn't stop thinking about this pretty, fresh ice princess and I bought it! I am so happy, the bottle is so pretty with its iced, pink glass. It smells even better now with the bottle as well, it has a little more edge than I remember I found the first time. My son also approved it, he is very sensitive to smells, some perfumes he loves and others he think are horrible. My husband likes it even though his favourites on me are more spicy and daring. I don't know what it is about this scent but it gives me such feel good vibes and I am already writing a novel that this scent has pitched to me!

This one by itself, from the bottle cap/nozzle or on fabric seems to me....hmm, somewhat oddly nice, but very mid-heavy. Sometimes even coming off too sharp to my nose. But omg ..on my skin, ALL the notes open up together and it becomes sooo delectable, like a juice I want to drink! A great blend of sweet, tangy but florally musky refreshing scent. It is such a big difference from the fabric. But on both surfaces, the longevity is so poor x-/ . Almost like you take a good sniff in and most of it gets sucked into your body from the nose, lol. I still have to wear it enough to know how many sprays at once or throughout the day make it last sufficiently for me, without it being annoying. But it does seem like the bottle would go fast for me though (hoping against it), which makes it a bit pricey for the performance alone. Still, I do love this one enough to be happy with my purchase! And the bottle is soooooo cute 😍 with the frosted glass, self design and the leather bow. I really need to try both the other versions too.

Such a pretty bottle, I love the frosty glass and faint peach colour! I like the opening scent the most. This reminds me a lot of Elie Saab's le perfume, but I like this more. This is a little sweeter, a little more cute. Smells like a princess doing ballerina, a posh, young woman who is very put together in a big city. And like a ballet ballerina. I don't detect any raspberry whatsoever (If you want raspberry, try La vie est belle - Elixir). I just smell white flowers, but a little more powdery than for example Elie Saab - Le Perfume or Dior - J'adore d'Eau. It smells clean, a little sweet, powdery, very cute (I see pink lace, pearls and a fancy café/Tea house if I close my eyes).

This is a very nice floral fragrance! I’m not one to like flowery scents but this is such a pleasant one, especially since it is also fruity. It’s fairly light, feminine, a bit fresh, and to me, it smells mostly of pears and magnolia, but I don’t get the raspberry. It lasts for a moderate amount of time, perhaps 3-4 hours, and the sillage is moderate too. If I spray it behind my ear, I can smell it for quite a bit. (Edit: last night I wore it when I went to bed, and when I woke up, I could still smell the fragrance but it smelled like pine and alcohol instead). The scent is a solid 9.5/10 but honestly, the poor longevity brings the total rating to a 6/10.

You ever find a scent that just makes you smile and just gives you such a physical joy? This is it for me. I just love how this smells--equal parts pear and raspberry for me but settles down to just the raspberry and magnolia. It's so light and subtle I feel like I could bathe in it and it still wouldn't offend! Haha! I am a 1-2 sprays kinda girl but I did 3 sprays of this one and I am still loving it!
